What is your favorite and least favorite gang?

Least favorite - I'm not sure. But I guess it'd be either the Cubans or the Haitians.

Umberto was awesome and I liked them over the Haitians. They were like the families of VC against the Ballas to me.

As much as I like them (only in GTA though), no denying here. They do try hard to look all tough and badass. But I don’t see the Families and Ballas any less “attention whores” to be honest. They’re a bunch of street gangsters who usually wear bandanas and caps, pick a specific recognizable color all over their clothes, use a ton of slangs and hand signs, and try to be “swaggy” as much as possible. Not to mention their habit of spraying their tags all over the city so they feel big. All to draw attention.

The clothes they wear are usual clothes worn by people in the ghettos. There might be some color to it but overall they are far more easy going when it comes to clothes. Leather clothes and big ass loud choppers? Oh please. 

 

Their slang is mostly things that you hear from most African Americans. Every gang might be an "Attention Whore" to some extent but no one comes close to biker gangs. South park portrayed them brilliantly in the episode "The F word". 

 

Also Bikers are more organized. The gangs that form in ghettos mostly consist of people who are misdirected in their lives because of difficult hardships of the ghettos (though they are still responsible) while bikers gave me the impression that they choose their disgusting lifestyle with a lot more freedom and sense of choice.

My favourite would be the Cuban gang. They helped you to take out the Haitian gang, and became good friends and partners while Vercetti's established himself as a crime lord. 

 

Or any gang that are friendly to Tommy Vercetti in his rise to power, such as the Bikers. Honest and unified people from differing backgrounds, such as their experience from the Vietnam War, as the biker leader explained, they were abandoned by their country and left with nothing to prove but the spirit of brotherhood, and can relate to Tommy when he was betrayed by the Forellis for an incident he was unaware of. 

 

Least favourite would be the Vercetti Gang. I was expecting them to have a leading role in the game because of the influence their leader had, but they are only armed with pistols and suffer a one hit punch. As a result, it removed all expectation from the gang and made them weaker than they were. Maybe Vercetti prioritised himself over the gang, so that could have been his downfall, as you are nothing without a strong group of loyal followers beside you.
