Ok, i knew about modding unmodable cars but...

Just to clear something up as well, there is no car mod code as such.

The codes used just replace certain cars or parts within one of your garages.

Its the method that makes it work.

Go to the start of this thread for my FAQ or click the link under my sig for details on how it is done the easy way.

your more than likely adding mods that a car cannot handle, or your codes are flawed

Hey pinky, that Shelby Stallion GT you made for pimp my ride looks great.

The Shelby Stallion GT500,

Got some questions though. What car did you use to transfer parts to your stallion?

And can you plug in the required car digits in the Garage Modifier code for the Shelby Stallion transfer? I would just like to get an idea of which digits to put where. Thanks.

Hope that made sense.

To make that car I used the old fashioned method mentioned in my FAQ.

How the mods come out depends on what car you put in the garage in the first place.

If you use the Savanna for example, you will get radical hydraulics but the wheels will never be quite as wide as a Clover. But on the other hand the Clover will not give you the extra low effect seen on that Stallion.

My latest trick is using Skillers garage mods to just change the wheel type of whatever car I put in.

That Way it results in keeping the wheel size ratios of the car that is placed in the garage.

Using a Kart gives you almost drag racer or F1 car style wheels, using a Police Rancher gives you the biggest and widest of them all.

Then I would load up again and change my garaged car to a Taxi, I've completed 50 missions so it transfers the infinite nitrous to the car I am making(as long as you mod the paint work or wheel type before saving again.

Thats how I tend to start my chains nowadays.

Hope that gives some good tips to the serious modders out there.

The BF injection and Mesa in this pic have the Police Rancher wheel dimensions transfered over as mentioned above, they dont get any wider.

Well in fact they do, the only other is the Rhino and that removes your handbrake alltogether

EDIT: Sorry Hitman never really answered your question.

I started off with stealing a Savanna (always one near Loco Low Co)and just changed the wheelcode for the SHADOW wheels to get the low hydraulics and the wheels, I then converted it into an Elegy on the next load to get the ALIEN spoiler from AngelArches. This was then turned into the Stallion on the third and final load up and taken to Transfenders where the rest of the parts were fitted as standard.

Very sorry to bother you again pinky, but got one last question.

Is there anyway to just change the 2 back wheels only? It would be nice having a true drag style racing car.

Well, you know that the tractor has the back wheels bigger than the front, so, why don't you try that?

If you want custom car or Drag Racer style wheel dimensions use the Kart as your first car.

The rear wheels will end up almost as wide as the ones from Police Ranchers and the front ones will be slimmer and slighty smaller in diameter as well.

Looks good on Blades or other Muscle cars.

The police rancher has to be obtained during a live situaton to get those effects right? I thought you told me that once. tounge.gif

Pinky,

Do you use cj's garage for this?

with my ar2(which is now broken) i used Xoomer garage because it was close to both arch angels and transfender and made the process alot quicker

seen as my ar2 broke ive ordered an ar max(from play.com) and cant find the garage mod code and car codes for Xoomer garage. and as you said on the first page you use armax and was wondering if you have the Xoomer garage code and car codes.

i really want to find these codes because i dont think i could stomach going all the way to arch angels from cj's house and driving all the way back, it'll take a mamoth amount of time especially if i'm experimenting with mods and try to transfer a part to a car that cant accept it and my game freezes and have to start all over again

Thanks in advance for any reply(s)

ps. if you do have any codes, i'm from england and would need PAL codes

Thanks again

Have you tried Skillers site? I think it says that his raw codes seem to work on every device. Then just go to Vehicle mods and enter in the digits for your garage and car.

Hope that helped.

And my Gameshark is slowing down in successful loads, seems it keeps scratching itself while in the PS2 and it won't load up sometimes.

The Hitman is spot on, try Skillers sARMax site.

I use a PAL ARMax for modding as well, although I just use the Johnson Garage for car Modding.

I'm more into doing radical mods for lowriders so the set up suits me at the moment, initially though it was a pain driving between different cities.

Besides, I really couldn't stomach putting in the car codes all over again for the garage in San Fierro.

Thanks for the replies guys,

yeah i tried skillers site, there were some good codes but none vehical modding of this kind. (as of yet anyway)

one thing that does baffel me though is the ArMax codes,

Example,

REPLACE CAR #1 IN CJ's GARAGE WITH:

You must have a car in the garage to activate this code

WFXW-M6PG-R4KX0

Infernus

UND4-WX50-AWXK1

RZKY-V9DJ-KEPZB

UW7H-C2PE-95R6A

Tampa

E18V-NBZQ-AZ1RR

RZKY-V9DJ-KEPZB

TEHX-ZMJ2-PUPW0

REPLACE CAR #2 IN CJ's GARAGE WITH:

You must have a car in the garage to activate this code

TG6H-EU3R-CZ8NE

Infernus

744M-PB17-6Z4G9

F9JT-R5Z7-FE3YA

B8N2-51CU-HP4P8

Tampa

N8V0-2FJR-E3XBZ

F9JT-R5Z7-FE3YA

5QM6-KZXK-3YF8J

-----------------------

neither of codes for "replace car in..." have any of the same codes so what indicates that it is cj's garage?

and the car codes are different depending on whether you use car slot #1 or #2

the only thing that is the same is the middle code for the car spawn codes

Example,

all car spawn codes in slot 1 have a middle code which reads RZKY-V9DJ-KEPZB

all car spawn codes in slot 2 have a middle code which reads F9JT-R5Z7-FE3YA

ive spent ages trying to work out how i could come up with a Xoomer garage code but ArMax coding seems so complicated.

I don't know which part of the site you got those codes from, but when I went to his armax site I got these.

D080???? 00100000

1080???? 00000###

It might work with your armax too, because it might be universal.

Here, I even made one for Xoomer Garage.

D080E9E2 00100000

1080E9E2 00000###

-I think the problem might be that Skillers Armax site's link to the car digits, etc. doesn't work-

the codes in my prevoius post are the official codes from codejunkies

the ones you posted are the ones i used to use with my AR2 (which is now broke)

I dont think i can use AR2 codes on an ARMax because the format is different (look at the codes in my previous post).

i did try converting the Ar2 codes to ArMax

and i got this,

D080eae2 00100000

1080eae2 00000225

=

MCKY-BFQN-54XH3

UT1C-2D84-DBXGX

H5ED-1WH7-W4CRN

and

D080eae2 00100000

1080eae2 0000019b

=

BXWJ-XVF3-62DFA

UT1C-2D84-DBXGX

C7PD-11FR-2TFMG

above converts are - eae2=Xoomer garage - 225=tampa - 19b=infernus

But notice the middle code in the ArMax codes it follows the same formula as in my previous post, which is that the middle code stays the same.

-------------------------------------

now the code you supplied is actually for Paridiso so i'll do the same test as above,

D080E9E2 00100000

1080E9E2 00000225

=

QJUM-R492-ZPB5C

YXUC-NTHG-ZQ1TG

FQ7G-EVXE-2051R

and

D080E9E2 00100000

1080E9E2 0000019b

=

55Y3-YGGN-29TBV

YXUC-NTHG-ZQ1TG

Q9GT-YZ55-BAG46

above converts are - e9e2=paradiso - 225=tampa - 19b=infernus

the middle code stays the same again

to me it looks like the middle code somehow represents the garage you use

but i could definatly be wrong, this is all new to me.

Thanks for the reply though

if you like yet me know what you think of the test above

ps. i dont have my ar max yet cos i only ordered it online on friday so its still yet to be delivered, hopefully it will be here on monday.

If you allready have the PAL ARV2 codes I think converting them to ARMax will probably work.

Let us know how you get on with it.

We should make a list of famous modable cars and their acceptable parts. It would be nice to know what kind of spoilers, if any, the Sabre accepts now that it has drag wheels, nice rims, and plenty of torque to pop a wheelie in front of the cinematic camera angle.

Do any cars accept any hood mods or rear and front bumpers?

If you allready have the PAL ARV2 codes I think converting them to ARMax will probably work.

ive come up with another way of trying it,

E18V-NBZQ-AZ1RR

RZKY-V9DJ-KEPZB

TEHX-ZMJ2-PUPW0

=

03519B19 31436203

1280D9E2 00000000

0280D9E2 00000225

^^the official code from code junkies converted to AR2 format

now the D9E2 code in the middle and bottom of the code is the same AR2 code which represents CJ's garage slot #1,

so i changed it to EAE2 which is Xoomer garage slot#1,

and here are my results

03519B19 31436203

1280EAE2 00000000

0280EAE2 00000225

=

X085-E382-KXMWA

Z2UK-TX4V-84QJH

VYVM-FJPU-117ZC

So hopefully that code should now represent,

Change Vehicle

Xoomer garage slot #1

Change to Tampa

The only problem is my ArMax still has not arrived (hopefully tommorow) so i cant test it out.

But when i do i'll try something like this,

i'll make a new codelist, called something like "GTA Garage Mods"

then put in,

(M)

J936-6RN2-R5UH4

1UU5-D83Z-ABVJN

DMFZ-MCT8-E4Q8G

Replace Car

You must have a car in the garage to activate this code

WFXW-M6PG-R4KX0

Tampa

X085-E382-KXMWA

Z2UK-TX4V-84QJH

VYVM-FJPU-117ZC

Start game with codelist active and pray it works, if not i'll try something else, but until i get my ArMax then i wont know

Let us know how you get on with it.

I'll definatly keep you informed, and if it does work (still unsure) then i'll have to do the hefty job of converting All the car codes, which will be fun.

The second step.

Enable the Garage Modifier Code for your second Donor car, in my case the Clover, because as stated before it gives you massive wide rims. Take this car to it’s respective Modshop and alter the Wheels, Hydraulics, Nitro if you skipped step one, and Stereo Bass. Return this car to your original safe house and again save. Reset your console with your Cheat Device enabled.

Do i put the clover digets in the code or the car i want the clover to change into?

You put in the digits for the car you want to replace the one you are putting in the garage.

Remember and check that the garage opens with your new ride, don't save until you have checked.

The amount of times I read posts about "my game keeps crashing when I try to open the garage" or "OMFG I am liek so screwed", so always check first.

If you do screw up just put in the code that should spawn the type of car you put in the garage in the first place, that should get you out of trouble.

Thanks for the good comments guys, its worth the effort to see and hear of your own modded machines.

I am guessing this aint re-producable on a PC by any chance (using garage/car editors)? I find the standard car mods kind of boring after a while so some extra modification "options" would be nice.
