I've just bought Paint Shop Pro 9 and I'm getting used to it. Even though I'm pretty darn good with PSP7. Strange. Anyway, here is the first of possibly many. But then possibly not. Who knows. Moonkea Posted February 8, 2005 Share Posted February 8, 2005 The glow originally came from a Lightsaber tutorial. It involves three layers of colour with different gausian blur settings (I used 4, 7 and 10 for this text) and then an untouched layer on top. The blur creates the glow and as its on three layers it will gradually fade out as the blur gets more blurry, if you know what I mean. After that, it all comes down to experimenting. Dammit, I just spent half an hour making an ad for Area 53 on MS paint, but it's a bitmap, and that's apparently bad.
