Hammerchuk
Chunky dude, quit bashing on other people's vehicles... Sure my Tracker and his moms Seat are pieces of sh*t, but they are alot better for getting around than your Nike's and your 10-speed. If his mother cared about performance and looks and had the extra money, don't you think she would have gotten a faster/nicer car? To each his own though if you feel the need to put down every vehicle that you don't particularly like. I hate alot of vehicles myself but I don't go out of my way to bash them

quackaddict
Whuddup... I was out there getting my car serviced earlier last summer and I saw a black Carrera GT sitting out on the showroom floor. So, naturally I started bullsh!tting with the sales guy about it. Come to find out Tim Duncan had purchased it and they were ready to make the delivery to his house, but since he was playing in the Olympics, they had to hold on to it for a few weeks. I was awe struck with the car, so I oogled a little more, and was on my way not too much longer. Well, I went up there to get my car serviced again and much to my surprise I saw that the Carrera was still sitting on the showroom floor. This being the month of September, I was freaked out. So, again I started b.s.ing with the guys and it turns out that they did in fact deliver it to Tim Duncan...only he couldn't fit in it. In fact, he didn't even try to sit in it! He took one look, got reeeeally pissed off and told them that he didn't want it. So, they got to (yyyyyyyes!!!) drive it all the way back to the dealership. So, time passed and no one was buying it. I watched it start to get spiderwebs, but loved every opportunity to take in the artwork of it. Well, low and behold...I took my car in last week...and she was gone. It freaked me out to walk in and see a couple boxters...so then I asked the inevitable. Come to find out, the GT was bought by the welding guy on t.v. Jesse James. He traded two cars for it...a blue Maranello (with an f1 tranny! wtf???) and a Murcialago. The Murcialago had been sold, or taken to another dealer cuz I didn't get a chance to see it, but the Maranello was there. It was waiting to get some minor front spoiler paintwork done to it. One of the guys at the dealership says that he was doing paperwork when jesse came in. Next thing you know, Jesse is just slammin the gas of his Maranello doin crazy doughnuts in the middle of the Porsche dealership parking lot. This mere minutes before handing the keys over. An interesting note is that he ordered his Carrera with three sets of tires to accompany him to the track.

StuntGames
Speedometer says it can reach 160 Mph, but i think the chip wouldnt let me go past 135 or 140. I believe it goes 0-60 in 6.8 seconds. The engine is basically the same as the R32 except for mine is a 2.8L 12v 180hp VR6 and the R32 is a tuned 3.2L 24v 240hp VR6. Ill be keeping the wheels for a while, I am starting work in a few months so it will be quite a while before I get enough money to get a set of rims. Thanks for the Neutral opinion Chunky.... I was actually thinking of taking off the front and rear window shades cause I know they are ricey.....I ain't 18 anymore afterall.... .....but to get the front and rear bumper painted is VERY pricey! The local place where I live wants over $600!!! I could go to MAACO and get the WHOLE CAR done for that much!
Mega
you should paint black door borders around side windows. In order to match the tint. In a civilised world get paint your bumpers would cost around $250. Mounted new springs around $160. Get rid of that additionnal lamps on your front bumper. it looks lame. Ah, and buy you some rear black altezzas instead of chromed ones, it would match the car better. Trust me. $130; to get your investment back, sell this ones on ebay or something. Then your car would look sporty. Still a little ricey, but tasteful. Signature soon.
anus
But I am thinking of purchasing a Toyota Celica, but I need to know whether it is actually worth the cash. I am going to tune it by the way. What do you guys think? Should I purchase a Toyota Celica or not? Toyota's have great build quality and that's why they have a better re-sale value than alot of vehicles. Personally I think I like the 6th gen Celica the most (mine is a 5th gen, and the current style is 7th gen.) Try and stay away from the ST versions of the car as they have smaller engines, less power & not as many features. You will be out a few grand more if you purchase an All-Trac (GT4) but it would be worth it if you can find one with decent miles on it. There is a nice 5th Gen on Cardomain that seems to be in pretty good shape and is for sale '92 Celica All-Trac w/ Volk TE-37 rims. The white rims look ok on it I guess, but their main feature is being very light-weight. You'll gain about 60-70hp by going with an All-Trac, plus you have the comfort/performance of AWD & a turbo. Okay, thank you for the help. But I like Nissans one hundred times more than Toyotas. But, the problem is, I do not know what Nissan sports car would be good. I absolutely cannot afford a Skyline GT-S or a GT-R. A Nissan car with two thousand to three thousand five hundred CC engine which would produce about three hundred to three hundred and fifty horsepower is what I am thinking about. I really do not like the Nissan 240 SX, so what car should I purchase? The Sentra is just not my type. A normal two thousand to three thousand CC engine would be fine since I got a friend who has tuned his Skyline (GT-S) to perofrm 0-62 MPH in under one second. So, I can get some advice from him. I think somebody started the stop-watch a few seconds too late on that one... 2.25 seconds is the lowest 0-60 time I ever seen recorded for a street legal vehicle... and that was a Dodge Viper SRT-10... Hennessey Performance tuned Venom 1000 Twin Turbo... If he tuned his car to beat that, i'm sure any Performance company would LOVE to have him... StuntGames
They have stopped making the 12v VR6 and are now making the 24v which is faster. I am acually planning on making mine look like the 20th anniversary gti's, and they do use the Oz Aristos (r32 wheels). Also planning on getting the votex body kit, which is made by vw, looks sharp! R32... 3.2L get it? The mk5 is said to have the R36, which I dont know if it has been confirmed but I look forward to it. My neighbor works for vw and gets great deals. He has a 20th ann gti with stage 3 turbo, R32, Jetta GLi, Jetta 1.8t and a Corrado.
