@Destructo: My sister is 5 years older than me. confused.gif

@Pavlov: That's the only reason why I'm getting them.

@Mr_Ed: I'm getting an Evo 3 body kit within the next month, so it won't look too tacky for long.

haha, everybody know that the women are bad drivers. for example my brother's wife made a driving license and on her first drive she smashed my brother's car (they don't have two cars - it was red VW Polo) on an intersection. so she doesn't drive any car now. and my brother bought Audi 100 now. tounge.gif

my mom also has got driving license, but she doesn't drive, because she's afraid of accident.

i guess i am the lucky one here, my sister is 21 and the only reason she got her learners permit was so she could get a new pic on her ID card. she absolutley refuses to drive in winter, and i give her good reason. i never give up the oportunity to take advantage of an empty parking lot

That is totally crap about women drivers, for a start insurance prices for women are far lower than for blokes, in the UK anyway. Agreed that some women shouldn't be allowed to drive, but I for one am a good driver and you shouldn't stereotype

Hmm, nobody seems to be into hot rods, or lowriders.

I like customs, my dream car would just be a cruiser. 1953 Chevy two door sedan. Lowered, chopped, and channeled. I like rat rods too so I would probably just primer gray the sh*t, put a nice set of classic rims on it, probably run a vintage tire with a thin white wall. Don't know if I would do hydralics I'm not really in to all that, probably just go with a good air-ride system. Damn I'm gettin' a chubby.

Anyway, I currently drive a 1990 Oldsmobile Nighty Eight. Not much to say about that car.

@What:

there are lot of People into lowriders. but they don't want to show them. But that culture is not very developped in Europe, but we try to catch up. The installs are still expensive and parts are hard to get.

@Valentino: you can always ask Kristian D'Agustino, he has a '02 Type R. He's from London

I drive my mother's Audi A8 or my father's Nissan Sentra because I do not own a car. But I am thinking of purchasing a Toyota Celica, but I need to know whether it is actually worth the cash. I am going to tune it by the way. What do you guys think? Should I purchase a Toyota Celica or not?

Depends: Model, year?

Generally speaking toyotas are very reliable, you can buy with confidence used celicas with 50-70k miles. There, you should see if it was a model made in Japan or USA. US toyotas are little worse.

I like your Jeep, bobbo27. Which year is it?

And somebody in my city has got nice Ford Escort with aluminium rims. I must ask the owner if he wants to sell it and how much will it cost. Do you think Ford Escort is a good car?

Depends. Definitely not diesel and not 92-95 one. Before, they are too rusty, after they are ok. Don't put altezzas on it, please.

'99 carrera...nice car...aftermarket 18's. Pretty fast. The idiot that had her before me put in a blaupunt stereo (wtf!??) so I'm going to remedy that soon. I'm getting her out of the shop friday (yay) after some jerkoff hit her in a parking lot. Poor thing...the aluminum crumples way more easily than the indestructible volvo I owned.

I love sports cars. I had a black '65 mustang back in high school. lowered with billet 16's I put a new 5 liter for the hydrolic cam and lifters, put some polished/ported alum heads, a reworked 5-spd, a 9 in rear end with 31 spline alloys (mosers), 4 wheel discs, etc. Then we removed the bumper in favor of a fiberglass one, as well as a fiberglass hood/trunklid, etc. Then we painted everything black. Every piece of chrome got painted black for a nicely achieved monochromatic look. Great car. Miss her.

I have a hunting truck too, 84 ford bronco with 39's. She's just sat since I've done extensive engine work.

I also have a '91 Mitsu mini truck 4x4 that serves as a good grocery getter.

I have two digital cameras, a 2 mp and a 5 mp, but don't know how to get the software to work...(everytime I run the install my comp says to put in a disc that came with the comp, but I can't find it.) The cameras are both sony, so the software is the same...anyway, I'd like to figure those out, and I'll post pics for you guys.

@ groundride: I love your Porsche. How old are you?

@ Warlord: See if you can get a GT Four. Not sure if that's a JSpec only, but it was made for Rally Racing. 4WD and a couple of Turbo's coming your way.

@ ViceDog: Nice Range Rover. I love 'em.

hum... i can say that my father used to have great cars before he married my mom, as far he told me, he had a Dodge challenger (yellow and black - latin america version), a Dodge Polara (white - small 2doors car... lightweight but with a 1.9l engine... preety fast for the time it was produced) and 2 Chevrolet Chevette hatchbacks (one white 1975 that he rolledover, and one blue 1980, that was my driving learning car - the chevette is the same as the opel kadett)... imo, all good cars... i whished he keept either one of the dodges.

Nowadays we have a chevrolet kadett ipanema 1996 GLS (gun metal gray, 1.8l - same as the opel kadett wagon) and a fiat elba 1994 Top 1.6 (blue with grey bumper - it's like a wagon made of the fiat uno) both family cars, i could say kind of boring if they weren't fast enouth to keep me happy inlove.gif

Still, i can say that i don't have a major preference over car types, although i tend to like more imports (my dad want's to trade the ipanema for a civic sedan or a corolla sedan), i just live cars, specially tuning they in the proper way, no rice allowed tounge2.gif
