that is probably the most well known and biggest easter egg in the game. Well done fo finding it yourself though -OTTAE

edit:and also the billboard says "a taste of good things to come"this is the sentence wich that woman says(i dont know her name)in the ea game Future Cop and the woman looks alot like the one on the billboard

i dont know if this is the right thread to post this but ,if you look at the back of the lisence plate on a freeway it looks like theres a bunch  of computer parts all over it

Hi fellas, I'm back from hiatus.

 

There seems to be a lot of repeats happening, so remember you don't have to read all 91 pages, just type your keyword in the search at the bottom of any page.

 

I don't think I'll be adding Lombard street as it was one of the first screenshots released, months before the game. I think Rockstar even compared SA's windy windy windy windy road to Lombard directly in a magazine caption. Also, I haven't been including many of the more obvious real-life location references, I think it's unnecessary.

 

I'd like to see pics or hear more about the Tupac graffiti, and Glenster's toad licking hippies...

The Freeway plate does seem to be a case of recycled TXD like the wheelchair to me.

MacsandNines mentioned Colonel Fuhrberger is from the euphemism for pu**y: "fur burger (or fur pie)" so I'll add that somewhere in the first post soon.

Gay Gordo's in SA is definitely a continuation of the franchise from VC, I guess I should mention it in the first post as well.

Oh yeah the CK Building suggestion. I don't think it works, there's no visible "o" between C and K, and your idea ignores the other 2 sides of the building... I think 2 of the sides have meaning while one is inconsequential.... I just haven't found a convincing argument yet, sorry.

People say a lot but no-one has ever produced pictures that show something clear. Of all the rumours - none really stand out clearly as saying -

"Hey, I'm an easter egg. Now that you've seen me I've reminded you that this is a created world and I'm just put here for fun."

That's my basic definition of an easter egg.

 

My point is that if it was an intentional easter egg then it hasn't been done very well as no-one can be sure what it's supposed to be. Either that or it's been hidden so well that you can only see it 0.001% of the time.

 

The C and K are pretty clear. I'm quite happy that there is an A on the smaller building to one side too. I can make out some other letters, but I'm really forcing myself to see them.

I can see a lower-case D and a dodgy looking S but are they really there? I doubt it.

 

Over the last 6 months I've looked from various angles (Shady Industries chimney top, Easter Bay Chemicals chimney top, the import crane...) and never seen a convincing word. Last night I could kind of make out the word SACK, but it doesn't really work unless accompanied by NUT. It's probably just a fluke that they look like C&K or just someone's initials.

If I ever see a word that I'm convinced is intentional, I will post a picture here without saying what I think the word is. If enough people see it too... then just maybe.

Ok i know you are all posting images but i was trying to activate the territory glitch, and i was flying out at sea in a hydra when i saw something weird (This is the pc version) and i pressed replay and recorded it with fraps....i am not going to say what i think it is you decide for your self. i have never seen that before. what the hell is it?

i've had the chance of having a glowing orb fly along me once and all it was just a ball of light. but this really is different.

That was the only time it had happend unless it has happend a couple of times but i never noticed, but that is the only one i have ever saw, i have a video on my pc of some video someone put on the internet w while back, he is in a taxi and he drives forward and then a ball of light fliess towards the camera and then goes past the camera, it is pretty strange.

can somebody please get me a really good picture of the "CK" building. i mean like a close up of the upper and bottom portion of the building on all sides.

i'd do it myself, but i lent my game (ps2) to my gf's bro and wont have it back. for a while. and i really mean a while.

I agree it's a graphic glitch, nothing significant for this topic or the game in general... nice try creating a sensation... go hunt for bigfoot some more.
