i think thats normal, i heard it first time near the Dome place, than several times when searching for oysters...

And about the difference between the Toreno map and the normal map (An island near the gate bridge), was that already known?

Lots of good stuff happening in here... keep at it guys.

Elite nor Grand Theft Auto are the greatest or most popular games ever made and it doesn't really pertain to the topic anyway... You can forget Pong, Tetris, Pac-man, Super Mario...

The "Blob music" graffitti sounds like a draw distance thing, like detailed textures look blurry and nondescript from a distance.

There are lots of "secret rooms" but I don't think are direct movie references like in Vice City. Just read the list in the first post to see various interesting locations.

This foghorn discussion reminds me of the "voices" from the large cargo ships, we talked about long ago... It was just the radio in the ship's bridge, all these sounds are probably meant to heighten the marine atmosphere....

In the unmapped eggs and secrets item 7, hippy art sh*t. I did a search and i couldn't find that anybody mentioned the shop just down from hippy art sh*t, which is called T-shirts and sh*t. You probably already know, but i thought i would mention it.

sad.gif sorry if this is stupid and is known by eeveryone sad.gif

The big ear sattelite is NASA, i saw last night, on unexplained mysteries that NASA put a satellite to View activities on AREA51, but it was destroyed by something, most likely something from inside, or has a connection to AREA51 in the Mohami desert or whatever. I'm sure everyone knows that AREA51 is rumored to have a connection with Extra Terrestrial life, and if u go near it in the desert, You will most likely to not come out alive. They also said that "The black project" of AREA51, is being kept a secret and is about UFO's. So uhh yeahh.

biggrin.gif The Big EAR NASA lol lol lol =] turn.gif

Well, I think that might explain the way some gangers attack guys who look like that then... That must be a 'default' ped skin, kinda like the guy with sunnies and a white shirt from Vice City... So when gangers attack one of these guys, he's -supposed- to look like a Balla or something, but there's a glitch...

When i pressed replay button, Poul & Maccer werre replaced by two niggas:

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v236/Art...z/untitled8.jpg

That's weird...

I did a lowrider race with my customized Savanna, and I decide to do a replay. When I did the replay, imy car was just a normal Savanna, not customized like I had it.

Killa: The clocks are seen many places in SA; the ingredients aren't really significant and that sign and burger are just weird... I don't think they're in my PS2 version... mmm burger.

Sierra, yeah "T-shirts and Sh*t" has been mentioned a few times but I'm trying to avoid having to list every funny sing in the game...

Mokie, the Big Ear shares it's name with a radio observatory at Ohio Wesleyan University. They may do some NASA related work, but it's not meant to be NASA itself.

The stuff changing in replay is odd... and I didn't know all peds had a default appearance like you say for Vice.

I don't know if any of these were mentioned before (I did try read all 79 pages but good lord... that is some serious reading)...

There is a building that is for sale near the chicken place and across the street from a motel (close to wear the Tattoo and barber shop is) near CJ's house... the sign mentions three real estate brokers: S. Little, S. Mullholland and J. Allan also known as the Los Santos Art guys...

In the Ammu-Nation shops, there are some packages of bullets on the shelves... one is called Morrice Ammunition "Big Bore for Big Jobs"- Wasn't Morrice one of the radio voices from GTA: VC?

The other box of ammunition has the R* logo on it.

Some of the signs on liquor stores advertising their wares include such parodies as Jennessy VS, Presidant Brandy and Seagulls Croon Royal

There are a number of reflections of the R* photographer in the windows and doors of various businesses or buildings in Los Santos

There is a video shop called SPACEY (near the studio and cemetary in LS)... if you "look" inside you will see three people in the shop (the photo used to represent the shop)... two of them are customers and wearing long winter coats... a little warm for the warm weather in LS...

In LV, there is a billboard on one of the freeways that says "PLAY HARD" (obvious reference to Nike) but toward the bottom of the sign there is a carrot that says "SEMI" thus the actual sign says "PLAY SEMI HARD"

Teenage humor wise, not far from this Play Hard billboard, there is another one that says "Come First Every Time" which I would suspect is sexual...

At the Adult store in LV, there is a sign inside that says "No Loitering No Cruising Around In order to stay in the arcade area you must be in a booth with the doors locked, movies running, wanking otherwise, you must leave"

Another sign in this adult store says "All sales are final on all rubber products due to health department regulations"

One of the Da Nang guys (Vietmanese gang guys in SF), the guy in the white shirt with ARMY across the chest has a strange left hand that seems to go in and out of color... in some instances it looks like a hook for a hand.

and this is a question... on the bail bonds sign in LV, it says "J. BOND BAIL BONDS" is this a reference to James Bond, someone on the R* staff or just a random name?

If I find more, will post later...

Those are pretty good altshiftdelete, most are minor and previously mentioned though. I'd like to see these reflections you mentioned...

Dang, the PC and Xbox versions of the game have so much more decarations than the PS2 version. ( more things in Ammunation, sh*t at the Grove, etc)

Also, I have a question about the Sex Shop in Las Venturas. I only see the clerk during the mission "Key To Her Heart," in other times, there is no clerk. Normal, or problem?

Oh, well, I just presumed it was a kind of 'default' skin, because I can't think of any other reason for -every- bus passenger in my game to be the same bland, white-shirted man with sunglasses on.

CarpetDweller

IV is the generally accepted roman numeral for 4, but I have seen IIII used on many real world clocks including the one in my house.

EDIT: It mentions the use of IIII here: Wikipedia - Clockface

Has anyone noticed in GTA3, there are billboards and posters all around Liberty City advertising a movie or somthing. The advertisment says "Pirates In Mens Pants." That is a casino in GTA San Andreas, are they making a movie about it or somthing?

The posters in GTA3 is a reference to the show Pirates of Penzance; and the Casino in GTA:SA is a combo of Pirates of Penzance and Treasure Island Casino.

Isnt Treasure Island a Peter Pan setting?

Don't think so... not according to the hotel's information.
