South Park's annual "Cow Days" party is happening! The cows become transfixed on a cow statue. In order to get the money they need to win Terrance and Phillip dolls, the boys sign Cartman up for a bull riding contest. A freak accident has Cartman believing he is a Vietnamese prostitute named Ming Li. The boys learn about money and cow insanity.

 

Does that remind anyone about black helicopters?

GodGell, in a sense, is correct. A character in 'South Park' called Officer Barbrady mocks a guy who mentions black helicopters, just at that moment at least three fly overhead. The guy talking to Barbrady goes 'What the hell was that?'.

 

"Tha-that was a pigeon..."

 

OK, at the same time it's NOT a direct reference to South Park. It's an obvious joke to make and I believe South Park weren't the first to do it nice try, though.

 

Any UK brits out there, South Park's on sky one in half an hour!

Black Helicopters are a well known conspiracy theory in the US, so I'm sure Rockstar was referencing the general phenomena and not South Park cartoons.

 

"Are you on a cellular phone? PRANK CALLER! PRANK CALLER!" is the quote from Pulp Fiction. That's a good find, seems likely that what the Truth says is in reference to the movie.

 

Thanks for confirmation Waffle but the CJ target has been added. If you guys see an Ammu-nation that doesn't have it, I might make a note.

 

Kert, does it lead into blue hell proper? Can you fly all around below the game world? There is a topic for these in Cheats and Tricks since it's a glitch and not an intentional egg or secret. Still good to point it out.

yeah, i guessed it isn't a direct reference but i never heard this anywhere else so i thought it was a somewhat relative SP reference. i remember i once found a short clip of this from the english version on southparkstudios.com but not sure.

Also, this Cluckin' Bell was unmarked in the PS2 version, wasn't it? Now it's marked...Rockstar fixed it. The unmarked Pay N' Spray is still unmarked though.

The "unmarked" Pay & Spray in Las Venturas is no longer "functional" in the PC version. The door doesn't even open and you "sink" in the floor...

 

"Shady Industries" in San Fierro got renamed to "Solarin Industries" (or something like that) in the PC version of San Andreas, yet there're some Bensons around with the name unchanged...

 

CJ's house is a "stretched" and dilapidated version of a house in Jefferson, near a safehouse...

 

This building in Glen Park, Los Santos, is the only one in San Andreas where some sort of interiors are seen from the outside. The building is not "enterable" though...

 

There're some other "True Grime" ads in Los Santos, there might be more and it's really not relevant but I just wanted to post the ones I found in Idlewood and Las Flores:

If you look at the racing number on the NRG 500, most of the time it's 46.  This is homage to the renowned Moto GP racer Valentino Rossi.

i have noticed the Hydra spawning at your landing strip after the last Toreno mission has number 46 on it too, not sure if it's on all of them. somebody gotta try and spawn some with a cheat or something and see if it has 46 on it. if it hasn't, it's only on the ones spawned by this spawnpoint.

 

note: i'd take a picture, but somehow my Hydra spawnpoint seemed to stop working!

also i've found a strange glitch with the Hydra. i'm making an Area69 break-in video now (which is why Fraps was running while i made those pix) which will probably show it.

i have only seen it once so far but i'm gonna try whether it's a continous bug. so, here goes: set the Hydra's thrusters to vertical and hover over something with the gears up, you'll see the blue flames from the thrusters. now lower the landing gear, and they disappear!

 

also i've checked out the lil probe inn map, and one of the blips seemed to be pointing to that big rock right next to area69. so i took my Hydra and landed on it. i'm not sure whether the blip really indicated this cliff or Area69 itself, but if it did, i know why:

 

 

you have a perfect observation spot into Area69. also i have noticed this when looking at the "big ear" from this point:

 

looks as if the "big ear" was placed right on top of that cliff. maybe just a coincidence, not sure.

GodGell yeah all the hydras have "46" on the nose. And if you go to the other locations on the "ufo" map, I doubt you'll find them all the significant. I'm calling the Area 69 scenic spot a coincidence...

That pissed me off. I had a 6 star wanted level...and the door wouldn't open! I was busted...

i found 2 not sure if talked about because i didnt read the whole thread.

 

go to hippy shopper and start the courier miission, drive the wheel arch angels, get a car that can be modded there, i recomend the jester behind it, now u only have 20/15 seconds, not sure to get inside it so be quick, when ur inside with the jester, and the timer runs out , it will say 0 out of 4 deliveries, after that,press X . ill leave it to ur imagination.

 

HINT : what does X do when u press it in a car.

 

anotehr one is, in the place u do yay-ka-boom boom or whatever mission in san fierro,

i saw a cop driving inside the lot outside the warehouse doing circles, i did the wanted level cheat and got 1 cop car to follow me the next day, then i did low wanted level cheat and the cop doesnt go away, instead, he does circles and start banging thinngs.

w) Ammu-Ammu:

The Ammu-nation in Willowfield LS has a misplaced sign texture, so it reads "Ammu-Ammu" rather than "Ammu-Nation." Thanks to LP_Reanimator.

 

 

That is fixed in the PC version.

It doesn't say "Carcer City" but rather something like "E. B. Carson Cable Co," whatever it says gets no results from google...

Is there a picture for secret #40? I'm not sure if I'm looking at the right cliff face marking, and I'm wondering if it might another difference in the PC version. Is the marking a repeated one, a bit darker gray than the ones around it, in a roughly round shape with something like a fish tail fin on the left side of it?

Very minor ghost world find: if you go S from the S end of the yellow double line of the road that goes S from the little loop of road in Mulholland, and cross the street to the house, C.J. sinks into the lawn till it's over his head at the SE corner and can see a very little bit of ghost world.

 

Looking at an online drug slang dictionary, I've noticed that various names in the GTA games are also slang words for crack: Xoomer could be pronounced "Zoomer" (someone who sells fake crack and runs away), smoke, wave, Johnson (also c**k), Eightball (crack and heroin), candy, B.J.'s (also bl** job), even

rock star, possibly others. Since the subject of cocaine comes up in this and the last GTA (it's what Vice City hidden packages contained, etc.), and given the game maker's inclination to punning, it may be more than a coincidence.
