Also, I made two interesting "discoveries" today involving the Vanity License Plates...

 

The Bullet at Burgershot in S.F. which read CHUNKY

&

The Banshee near the S.F. Gym which read DPB

 

ARE NOT IN THE PC VERSION!

 

I downloaded a 100% gamesave so I can play without having to work (yeah, I'm lazy) I stole the Bullet & it had a regular license plate:

 

So I went to check others in S.F. I noticed the Banshee was also a regular plate...

 

So that's my interesting "discovery"

The stuff DApeoplezCHAMP said about Panopticon being a prison where the guards couldn't be seen was said verbatim a few months ago. I can't find the post since search is off.

Look closely...it's the "Tarbrush Cafe" logo from Vice City. I believe you had to blow that place up in Vice City.

 

Whatever happened to "Shady Industries"? This was taken in GTA:SA PC version:

I heard somewhere that there is sometimes a 4 armed ped laying on a Mt. Chiliad hiking trail.

 

I've seen a screen shot of it before. it looks like 2 peds laying exactly on top of each other

If you haven’t upgraded your lung capacity from its preliminary value and you commence the mission ‘Amphibious Assault’ an alternative scene will employ with CJ and Woozie playing a video game in discussion. You will find out why Woozie doesn’t like to go out swimming and how CJ once got a condom stuck on his face.

I have to say its interesting the things they are changing in the pc version (posted so far). It would be interesting to see certain places.

 

I wonder if the gant bridge has an easter egg this time? Has anyone looked? (or eggs, plural).

 

Keep these things coming, they are really intriguing.

 

Edit-Someone mentioned a second wheelchair in San Fierro. I havent see it, can someone tell me where it is? just wondering if it's identical or not.

Godcell I think you missed the alternative part of the cutscene... I've seen what you recorded on my game, but I haven't seen the video game part, when CJ's lung capacity is too low... and I just noticed PC characters eyebrows and eyes move, that's pretty damn cool.

 

Deathlock I think I saw shots of the "no easter eggs" sign from PC, so they are mostly still around...

I've not heard of this other wheelchair, except in the Base5 clothing ads.

Yeah I've seen that one. I'm told there is another one on Pier 69? Where is Pier 69? I know there is the military ship with the number 69 but not a pier.

Nope, theres nothing there. That little desert island always muses me, given its land, but isnt shown on the map at all. Other than that theres nothing there.

The little island is just used in one mission I think... some hippies are camping on i and you steal their boat.

Who are you people? First off, how do you even notice that sh*t? Secondly, why would you spend so much time trying to decipher some kind of hidden meaning in the slightest of quirks? A game this huge, I'm sure, has a couple of fun little secrets stashed about, but do you honestly think they put forth concerted effort to make this some sort of random, fruitless scavenger hunt? Come on now. You guys need hobbies or role models or...something constructive to occupy your time with. Some of you guys are spending way too many hours digging through every iota of this game for nothing. Not every fart and whistle has a purpose.

Why did you post that in the topic? I thought if you don't want to contribute you stay out... do you spam the topics about CJ's favourite place to eat? Thanks for nothing... these guys enjoy finding the hidden things and you can't tell from the PC version but in PS2 there are times on the wheelchair. I can tell you haven't read the previous discussion about it and only posted to act superior and flame the whole idea... please don't do that.

well, there aren't any video games in the cutscene, but we do find out both why woozie doesn't like to swim and how cj got a condom stuck to his face. so, i thought this was the alternative cutscene as my lung capacity ain't too high.

Hey, we could complain about your stupid username but we don't make a topic about it just to say so. If you don't have something constructive to add then keep yer arse out of the topic and talk in topics that DO have some interest to you. I never thought I'd have to put a mod in their place but do NOT have a go at people who post in this topic, already well-supported by other mods and admins. I am disappointed in you and I post to make public my disgust in your choice of words.

 

No offence, but what you say...well, they make me think of you as a prick that wants everyone to like what YOU like, and not to be different. Not trying to be insulting but that's EXACTLY what I see when I read that and I'm sure others would agree (they probably wouldn't - cos of your status). Some people like finding the smallest little things like the wheelchair and number-plate and I hope your pathetic comments won't discourage them from continuing to explore anything else that Rockstar put in the game specifically for the gamer to find.

When the police officers that "beat" (not enough evidence to convict them) were aquitted, the south side of L.A. went up in riots. Seems like the same thing happened when Officer Frank Tenpenny was aquitted.

Yeah the whole plot at the end of the game seems to be based on Rodney King beating trial and the resulting LA riots.

Here's the changes I have notices so far. Some are big, some are small:

In the PS2 version it was "Shady Industries" in the PC version it's "Solarin Industries"

 

The Bullet that had the license plate CHUNKY & the Banshee that had the plate DBP are not in the PC version

 

 

#6 - Lemmings Easter Egg:

Although highly contended to be just a glitch, if you go here, you will see pedestrians walking off the edge of the building then jumping. A nice little Easter Egg considering Rockstar North created the Legendary Lemmings games back when they were DMA. Note: This only works when you are in the alleyway.

 

 

#57 - Lemmings Pole:

Much like the Lemmings Egg in Las Venturas there is also a utility pole in Los Santos that does this. There is a Cluckin Bell just north of Grove Street. On the west side of the Cluckin Bell's car park is the utility pole. The pedestrians spawn halfway in the pole and then fall from the top to their deaths.

 

In the PS2 version, I found something just like those...I called in "Lemmings Payphone" It was in Dillimore, pedestrians would spawn randomly on top of the payphone, and fall off...but not dying because it was a small drop...But in the PC version...:

Where's my payphone?!? That's the exact spot.

during today's 18-hour SA-session (which i'll continue after replying to the topics on the forum) i've done some exploring on mount chiliad and found a bike/quadbike course that wasn't on the map. i didn't finish the storyline yet so maybe it'll be used later in a mission, dunno.

 

i found it when i was on the way to the peak of the mountain. at a turn on the dirtroad i saw another road go somewhere but it wasn't on the map, so i followed it to see what it is. there are ramp-like thingies like on bmx courses, and there's a big ramp, which made me think this might've been used in a mission sometime, because jumping from the ramp completes an instane stunt bonus. there's also a quadbike spawnpoint.

 

what was really interesting though that once i visited this hidden course with a pickup truck (wanted to trow it off a cliff and get the quadbike instead), a brown rancher spawned on the course with a ped in it and it drove around on the course just like regular traffic. except it's hard to stay on the course with the quadbike, he did it easily with the rancher!

i made some pix and even a video showing the rancher, i'll make a topic with my pix and videos of the mt. chiliad journey and i'll post those pix/vids there.

Like others before me have said, I don't know if this has been posted or not, but it seems funny it would have been missed. In Venturas' Sex Shop, above the purple double ender, by the power dildo, is a lightsabre looking dildo. It's not an exact replica, but it is close enough to Ep3 Anakin/Ep4-5 Luke's sabre hilt to seem like an egg to me. Sorry I don't have a picture at the moment.

Godcell the course is used in a mission, so it's not really a secret. The rancher spawn sounds like a one time accident... I never saw one when I was there...

How come noone noticed that mission "Sowaway" is based on one of the "Enter The Matrix" missions? The plane, all Smith-like agents, jumping out of the plane.
