deddeson Posted March 17, 2005 Share Posted March 17, 2005 when i was doing the last mission for woozie, i was just about to go up to kill the man in the comm room and i heard a rustler fly over and crash. when i got out of he whole it said to go to the refugees. the plane had kamakazied into the ship and killed everyone in the comm room. Kingjad Posted March 17, 2005 Share Posted March 17, 2005 on mount chilliad i was going to try to take photos of some plane crashes and out of no where a rustler came out of nowhere and hit the ground and was scraping the ground it then went off the ledge and continued to fly without blowing up i caught a picture of it grazing and a nother one of it flying away That happens quite a lot, I've seen it a good few times on Chiliad. It's a pain to get all the crap to do it though (not a big one, but at least a trip to the store). And I don't see why the plane couldn't hit people you were after... Has anyone noticed planes during missions? I just though how a plane crash could really screw up the mission script (if it crashed and blocked a road you were supposed to be chasing someone down and so on). I'm hypothesizing that during missions, they disable the spawning of planes to fly overhead. Can anyone seen a random plane fly overhead during a mission? Picking up Maccer and Kent Paul and taking them to Caligulas, near that strip joint in the desert a plane skidded along the ground, a parking lot I think. It attempted to take off again, got a bit of height, but flew right into a petrol (gas) station. I was hoping Maccer would've had a funny comment for this, but sadly he didn't notice. king surfer Posted March 17, 2005 Share Posted March 17, 2005 i've only ever had 2 crashes the first one was at the LS beach i was running up to the lighthouse when from nowhere a plane came flying down landed on the beach and sat there for a while before exploding into a fiery mess ontop of a few sunbathes! the second was early in the game, i had accidentley lost my ride in the wilderness in the mount chiliad area. after running around for a bit a found a parked walton but as i ran up to it a rustler just flew straight down from the sky straight into it! The most obvious being Mt Chiliad, another is The Big Ear. Anywhere there's a very tall cliffside, but *nothing* else even close to as tall as the cliff. I think, from what I see, the AI planes fly X amount of feet above the average height of all objects around you. So if there's a clearing and a mountain, 0 feet would be the average, making it more likely to be flying lower than the mountain. Now lets just hope the plane's flying *toward* the mountain, and not gaining altitude. Wait around there with your camera ready (aimed and pointed up). If you have a stereo TV (or better yet, surround-sound), you can find the plane in the sky easier, and take pics of it crashing...something I havent been lucky enough to get yet. SNOMANE Posted April 18, 2005 Share Posted April 18, 2005 i had a jacked mesa grande that was in a 2 hour long police chase and i finally lost them in las venturras i took it out on the highway and through some country roads once i had the wanted level off i ended up 1 hour later in los santos and i took it to transfender and i painted it red with speakers and new rims and hydralics from my petty gambling earnings so i went to spend the last of it at a dance club i parked it all nice and proper on the road and i lowered it and got out i went into the club for 20 mins and got some dance prize money as soon as i came out i saw a fight in the street i ran over to look and i heard an airplane i looked back at my mesa to make sure it was okay and the noise stopped then i heard a firetruck i turned and looked at it then an explosion rang out and one of my rims hit me in the head taking 30 health from me i got up and ran i looked back at the big heap of metal and watched my beautiful car burn and the plane was an andromada and it continued to slide i kept running i ducked into an alley way and stayed there until the explosions stopped i looked around every ped on that street was dead the fight and its spectators all dead where they stood my car still perfectly parked but missing a door a tailgate and a wheel and on fire the firetruck was raked down the street among 3 ambulances 2 pcj's and a flash and of course the plane i took a pic of the street literally everything but me died and thats the story of my beautiful mesa Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
