Also not really a crash but when I was flying away from Area 69 after stealing the jetpack for the Black Project a plane flys by and it justs clips me making me do a spin it was sweet. DidierSucks Posted March 5, 2005 Share Posted March 5, 2005 I had an experience with a plane/plane collision. I was standing ontop of Mt. Chiliad, and I spawned a Hydra. I climbed into the Hydra and hovered up about ten feet off the ground, and suddenly a Rustler comes like a bolt from the blue into the side of my Hydra. I guess the game spawned a Rustler coming while I was on foot, and then I kind of moved up into the flightpath... I've seen many more planes now that I've restarted my file. Any time I go on I hear at least two. Often I see them hit the crane behind the Xoomer (SF) garage. Sometimes they hit other things. I saw a plane glance off a hill once and go on a distorted attemp at flight before it hit the road. Too bad there wasn't anyone on the road at the time. I'll try and list some plane occurances A plane crashed in the road while I was chasing the Russian in "Gray Imports" A plane crashes damn near 100% of the time when I exit any Ammu-nation, especially downtown LS Ammu-nation Had a plane somehow go through the trees in Shady Creeks and have a fiery mating session with my back The most awesome plane crash, so far, I'd have to say, was an when an AT-400 careened into the Julius Thruway. I'm wondering how this happened though, because AT-400s don't spawn low, and fly pretty straight as far as altitude goes I looked up, while on Mt. Chiliad, just in time to see a smoking Rustler fly over my head with probably a CJ head of clearance What I'm thinking was either a Nevada or a Beagle pounded the freeway leaving San Fierro, but I only saw it in rear view and never got to see any kind of real destruction like what was caused when the AT-400 crashed into the Julius Thruway Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I was exploreing the desert where area 69 is and a Ruslter out of no where it crashed into a guard tower-and then was shot by the S.A.M(surface to air missles.) Turend around and saw a burned down plane on the ground. •Heard a plane falling down when I was on the boardwalk near Santa Maria Beach. I was trying to look everywhere in the air but I couldn't find it. Then, I didn't hear a crash. So was guessing that the plane gained control and flew away. But then I saw it in the water floating and then sinking. • Finally saw a full air-to-ground crash when my cousin was playing. A small plane caught the edge of a skyscraper and then caught fire while falling down. It fell to the ground and blew up. Vanzant Posted March 5, 2005 Share Posted March 5, 2005 This isnt about a plane crashing specificaly but close...After I jumped out of the Andromada <--(however its spelled) It said "mission complete" but while sky diving down a damn rustler smacked me dead in mid-air! I got automatically wasted and the plane went down with me and crashed...I was very relived it didnt get me before the "mission complete" message because I was about to go onna super rampage. Over at San Fierro's Missionary Hill, a Rustler hit the radio tower, got stuck, then ran away from it before it got me hit. I only took 10% Armor damage from that plane. A stroll in Las Venturas: I was trying to test the Pedestrians drowning glitch, then a Nevada came FLYING out of nowhere, causing one hell of an explosion, killing a few cars, and a few pedestrians. I faintly heard a plane (wasn't really paying attention) fly over and then alot of explosions. I leave and drive down the freeway and there's a plane right there. Everything was annoying, from pushing bikes and bodies to lifting them and dumping them. Just after I failed AGAIN by accidentally driving the Dumper into the water, I tried it again. So I get in the Dozer and start pushing the cop's body. Just then, a plane comes down, crashes in the cliff above me with a loud BOOM BOOM BOOM, and comes to a stop just in front of me and my Dozer, completely blocking the path so that I couldn't push the body to the crane pick-up point. I got so pissed that I blew up the Dozer and went on a highway rampage. My second there was a plane just sitting in a driveway. I couldn't help but notice it. Planes crash at quarry for the same reason they crash at Chiliad - they spawn a certain height from CJ's head and if something's in the way, KABOOM! I was somewhere near Mt.Chiliad near a bunch of trees when a plane hit a group of trees. The plane began to blow up and started to head towards me. 2. I was at the abandoned air field when out of nowhere a plane dives towards me. I hid in one of the empy planes and the plane that was diving towards me blew up. 3. I bet other gangs are jacking them and cant fly worth a poo so they end up crashing everywhere... I blame the ballas... they are some lame arsed pilots. (I know it's random spawning and all kinds of programming issues, but it makes a better story to thing "another jerky ballar crashing his jacked plane"). The aircraft spawn at a certain height over CJ, and if a building happens to be in the way, they crash. That's why so many crashes are reported at Mt. Chiliad. A Rustler crashed near the strip club in the desert, tried to take off again and flew into a petrol station. I was in a cab with Maccer and Kent Paul at the time, taking them to Caligulas. And the other best one was, as others have said, doing the final Quarry mission. It crashed NEXT to the big Dumper thingy vehicle, but thankfully didn't blow it up. Was quite a close call. Erm...Quarry missions are fairly easy, IMO. Why do I find supposedly complicated missions as easy as breathing? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
