Cars that come with custom parts you can't add

Recommended Posts

Most Slamvans have a regular steering wheel, but a few have the "chain" steering wheel. (Pictured later in topic)

(i usually look for that one rather than hooking up one without it)

My brother said he saw a car with leopard skin seats, but i think he just saw someones shirt sticking through. (as sometimes happens)

I know everybody's seen either the plain burrito, or the one with lights and a spoiler on top, or the cheetah with different mirrors. (Both pictured later in topic)

What cars have you seen with different parts, and what parts were they?

(EDIT)

Here is the list so far.

1. Perennials with, and without the roofrack.

2. Super GT with and without the open roof.

3. Windsor with and without top.

4. ZR-350 with and without spoiler.

5. Flatbed with nothing in the bed, and I think there are at least two kinds of different "payloads"

6. Bobcat with nothing in the bed, sprunk cans in the bed, and tire in the bed.

7. Slamvan with normal steering wheel, and one with the chain steering wheel.

8. Cheetah with no mirrors, two mirrors, and 1 "oddly placed" mirror.

9. Burrito with lights and spoiler, and without either.

10. Walton with empty bed, and oil drums. (I know there are others, but I can't think of what offhand)

11. Sadler with oildrums, empty bed, sprunkcans, box. (As well as the damaged sadler)

12. Mesa with roof, and without roof.

13. Camper with roof "vent", and without, also ones with the "peace" sign. (also, some have a bed in the back but I'm not yet sure if thats all the ones with the "vent" or if they're seperate)

14. Monster in three versions pictured.

15. Bloodring banger normal, and with checkered roof.

16. Glendale regular, and "ghost" or damaged version.

17. Hotknife with and without hood/ engine cover.

18. Piccador with empty bed, sprunk cans in bed, and wooden "ramp" in bed.

19. Huntley with wood trim dashboard. (Not sure if they all have this or not, yet.)

20. Stallion with soft top, hard top, soft top down with folded top visible, and soft top down without visible folded top.

21. Patriot with and open back, covered back (low), and I still think there may be a high cover. (like in VC)

22. NRG-500 comes with two different exhausts and both exhaust come textured, and untextured. (Meaning there are at least four different versions)

23. FCR-900 come with large single exhaust, two smaller exhausts (with and without texture), no fairing, half fairing, and full fairing, as well as regular spokes, black spokes, and red spokes.

24. BF-400 with no fairing, half fairing, and full fairing. (It most likely has all three types of exhaust, but I'm not sure offhand)

25. Romero with coffin, and without coffin. (In VC there were three different versions of the coffin, but I'm not sure about in SA)

26. Pony with speakers, and without.

Thanks go to pdescobar for noticing this one.

And there are bound to be more out there, like I think the Regina comes with and without a roofrack, but I'm not positive. And correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think you can change the "inside" color of the remington, so you have to find one with the interior color you want. (I like the red interior for instance)

Anyway keep them coming, if you see something I've missed then add it, or if you see something you think that I got wrong feel free to correct me.

(LATE EDIT)

These are the only ones I could stll find. Sorry about the quality but these were taken from the PS2, some of them were too dark so I brightened them. A few of them were combined to be under the image limit. Clickable thumbnails used for those on dialup.

good eye

and i've noticed more obvious differences like

stallion in soft top, hard top,top down with folded top visible, and top down without folded top

super gt with and without roof

zr-350 with and without spoiler

mesa with and without roof

windsor with top up and down

camper with and without the roof thing as well as ones with a peace sign

and so far i've seen the patriot with and open back and a covered one

(and although i haven't seen it in SA, in vice it also came with a higher backcover)

but when i saw the chain steering wheel on the slamvan i realized how many little things i must miss

Actually, you're wrong there are burrito's without lights or spoilers, when you get in read the name that comes up in the bottom corner.

never noticed that either good eye.

and as to the burrito/pony debate from real far away they are indistinguishable but otherwise are very different.

also the pony drives like crap and every pony i've ever seen has the speakers in the back like on that one mission.

I don't know if this has been posted before, I did a search and didn't find anything, I've been playing San An since it was released and I can't believe that it has taken me this lonnggggggggg to notice that the LVPD cruiser is a different body style than the SFPD cruiser and LSPD cruiser. I jacked one in Las Venturas, drove to San Fierro and passed a police cruiser and kind of went "WTF? That's not the same car I'm driving."

I did some comparing of body styles and it looks like the SF and LS police cruisers use the Premier as their body style, and LV uses the Tahoma for it's body style. I thought that it was pretty cool of R* to throw that in the game.

the motorcycles are like this too some of them like the bf i think will sometimes have a front kinda thing going or sport bike frame front while some have nothing look kinda like a a chopper front?

idk but this is the same with most of the motorcycles

Yeah, a couple of the motorcycles do come with or without a fairing on the front, and I've noticed that the tail pipes differ (sometimes a NRG will have two exhaust pipes on the right side, other times it will have dual exhaust on both sides, etc.) But with the police cruisers, they are not cosmetic differences but rather completely different cars. Pretty cool... And does anyone else think that NRG is another way of saying Energy? Or is it actually and abbrevation for something?

i also thought nrg was for energy

and sorry to get off topic but is sark in reference to tron?

cause if so greeting progam

sorry but i'm hopelessly corny

Yeah the Rumpo and Pony were totally different in GTA3... The Rumpo was more of a passenger van (and looked awesome!) and the Pony was noisy and sluggish and the more industrial van of the two.

Then in Vice City, the Rumpo got signs on the side but still was driven around by normal people rather than the Pony which spawned only in industrial areas. The two looked virtually the same now. And the Burrito was sort of sporty, with the little foglights and spoiler

San Andreas is much the same as Vice City... the Rumpo still has the signs but is generally driven by normal people, the Pony is the worker van and the Burrito is the poseur's van.

i have a pheonix and its dash is lined up with a bunch of gauges, dunno if thats in all of them or not. I like how sometimes when you put in the cheat for the monster truck that it comes out without the lights on the top, although its rare.

Also, the taxi's are the same as the cops in LS and SF. I don't think the LV is actually Tahoma, but its really similar, i like those ones the best.

I realized earlier that there are actually 2 different Monster trucks.

The Mural painted one you get with the spawn cheat is kinda like an older Ford F-150, the boxy ones. Its just single cab.

The one that spawns over in way south west San Fierro, near the bridge to Los Santos, in the trailer park, is more of an old Chevy S-10 looking truck, with a tiny extended cab.

The rumpo was my favorite car from GTA3. That, and the Diablo Stallion.

The Bobcat really changed alot from the curvy late 90's shape in GTA 3 to a completely boxy one in San An - ( Dont remember if it was even in Vice)

But the car that changed the most is the Blista - It was a Dodge Minivan in GTA 3 and a Honda CRX in vice and San An.

I miss the Kuruma -and the FBI Kuruma (Dodge Sedan)

Whenever Ive picked that one up it's had 4WD. I took it around back o' beyond and the way it spun... wheeww... gorgeous.

bigsmoke'slittlesmoke

- As for the leopard skin seats, I remember the voodoo in GTAIII had it. Haven't looked around for it though

It wasn't a Voodoo, it was actually a Yardie Lobo.

- some cars (Huntley and Stallion I've seen) have simulated wood trim dash boards

Nah, there isn't a Voodoo in GTA3.

There is however a Lobo.

I think the infernus has changed the most throughout the games:

Gta3 - Can't really say, as i only remember it being very roundish

Vice - Lamborghini Countach

Sanan - Honda NSX

Personally i prefer the countach, too bad that the doors are standard tho sad.gif

To be honest i've never found the one at the trailer park.. blush.gif I spawned a monster with my AR Max n it didn't have 4 wheel steering. 3 monsters can be spawned with an AR. Maybe there's another spawning location? dontgetit.gif
