thanks for responding, im only using files frrom gta-3 may use alternative's as time goes by . Tried merging few files but cant find exact one yet this is the last one i tried

(kraxxuz ) i just started it basically last week, so first of i"ll see how it goes , im hoping its easy to load in to gta once converted to dff- col file

 

ha ha that should be fun , never attempted it before

and lets just say zmod ive tried that prog before making cars and got to cry.gif giving up suicidal.gif

 

i can just get buy on this cos sketchup's easy for me but ill have a read of the tutorial-4 again on sketchup, and see how i do

cos i really got to get it ingame as soon as poss. im just sorta worried about scale of things (panic)

anyways im the only one one this project just now, a bit masakistic if you look at the work involved - but hey i don't see it like that colgate.gif

its a joy to do heeee sly.gif

oh sorry folks 2 in a row again -sorry its been 2 days i think,

anyways still had no success in getting anything in game yet so im , gonna go back to basics

try install a box think thats the best way first , here's some more piccies

okidoki after 2days ,,,at it well 1.75 days finally getting somewhere i think peeps thanks to

I know, I said that I'm not very good with modeling and I haven't had much experience, but if I got 3DS Max, I would model alot more. I just can't be bothered f*cking around with detail with those freebie progroms. *cough* Zmod, Sketchup *cough*.

 

It still looks quite cool (to me) I think.

now for Opius great but I think the window texture could be a bit better and the windows are too big but I love it.

 

now for junox I think the under-over intersection looks the best and can provide some fun with the VCPD.

not much to show today on the modelling side

but still heading forward in the correct direction

at last finally got object in game, been having loads of collision file problems

as youll notice

1. textures on road seem fine but couldn't suss out how to make

them brighter in zmod yet something to do with luminosity or something in material editor ???) cant find it yet (angry.gif ha ha )

2 textures not correct on red?white hatching (infact its not there its just a (colour color)cause?probably didn't reoriantate properly

 

3.scaled down size of road but still not correct working on it

 

4.funny thing it looks great in mooo mapper dontgetit.gif

 

oh! what a life....... suicidal.gif anyway here's the ingame picci not much to see should be as bright as small lower picture no cookies for me confused.gif

well much slower progress now but still heading in same direction

I've got the dff and txd for my building now, it just crashes when I put it in. It's weird, I mean it shows up in moo mapper! Anyone know what could be wrong?

 

EDIT: I'm going to make another version for Vice City, which will be an island with the building and some extras.

is it possible to get a scaled game object dff changed to (dwg .dxf skp.skb) file format so its easy to scale in sketchup ....oh hey

just sussed out, why textures go funny though! when you scale model, the textures go all funny have to suss out if you can fix the size of the texture before scaleing blah blah blah sorry folks thinking aloud here
