Rawra
Looks brilliant, ParoXum - as usual <lol> Though, I don't really think that would be to good for IV players if you put work of that quality into it - I mean, that's like 1/4 or 1/5 of a lot and already it looks quite high-poly, excluding the car and the scale model, ofcourse. Though, I'm probably wrong. Good job though, really good work.

Thanks, dont worry about the look 'like high poly stuff style' This is my medium poly meshes, of course it wont be able to run ingame smoothly. Lowpoly meshes will be modeled based on those and having normal maps with all detail. Rawra
Lol, that seriously is fantastic, and you say you aren't a professional modeller? seriously nice work and it has a realistic feel to it also, even without textures. I mainly love the detail you put into with the windows, the cracks/gaps in the wall with the steel rods through them, and the bumpy surface of the walls on the curved building. Will we be expecting a textured version? GW
ParoXum
Often textures ruins that smooth and detailed style when adding them, but I guess yeah, If I keep modelin I surely add textures sometime. http://tof.canardpc.com/view/5f0d40c0-5934-476e-8d8a-dd35dfc496a7

SLAYERMAGGOT
@Puma06111991: Awesome building, like this old style I'm exited to see your new game, this is going to be a shooter or adventure game?
l3mmy
Puma..I think it looks ok, but could do with some more detail, maybe a little bit more work on the textures..i dn0..Might look even better with proper surroundings..Jungle type xD
Puma06111991
Yah, ingame it's gonna get trees, rocks etc. around it. EErrrRm.. It's going to be an action/adventure/puzzle game, little bit like Tomb Raider. You're on expedition and when you loose the group you discover this temple. You go inside and you get lost in the temple. In the end the temple turns out to be some kind of gate to another universum. Something like that, and I'm part of the team . JostVice
The modelling looks ok, but IMO you could destroy more the building to give it that old aztect look. The textures look repetitive, and the normals are a bit f*cked in the floor... I would dark everything (textures I mean) to give it that wet and dark effect. looking forward for it

Puma06111991
Very nice Puma, trees really are hard to model well Well, I just made a tube, bent it a little, then made a plane, reshaped it a little and put some textures on it. It isn't that hard
Rawra
Looks okay, but plain -,- Give it a shot at '3d-ing' out the leaves a tad, if you can - make it look a lot better probably. You're using Sketchup, right? (may be more difficult (?) ) P.S, don't want you thinking I gave a bad impression with the model, it's good but more details will bring it out more
JostVice
That texture is not fitting that kind of tree IMO. Its for more small plants, like the one you got the texture from. The leaves modeling looks ok, but the trunk is a bit boring

Rawra
is there a scale anywhere? Put a player model in so that you can make sure it is realistic in terms of scaling, then you won't have any future problems

Rawra
Okay, an hour ago <from now> I started modelling a scene just to get me used to modelling again really, seeing as I haven't modelled in (over?) a month or so. It's pretty undetailed and there's a lot more to add, which I will in due course. So.. yeah. Edit: I done two more hours worth on it, adding a few details. I'm running out of ideas on what to add >_< - got to take a break from it. A lot more still to add. Edited October 26, 2008 by Rawra
FoXar
@ [email protected], looks good, it's kinda (to) unique in shape for a clothes shop in my opinion.. but meh @ Rawra, looking really good, your skills have gone straight up, I like the detail you've already put in this scene, keep it up! ;]
