lt_yao
Sketchup right? Looks great! Could you show the area around that building? Here's the top view of my house. Edited September 25, 2007 by lt_yao
Puma06111991
Lol, nice, I hope you get the right textures:) Check http://www.mayang.com/textures. Here's something of me: Couldn't get it rendered because I got crashes when I tried.. Maybe thisone will get on the top of a pale of a carpimp-shop or something.. All Sketchuppers should know the Sandbox tool! I made a tutorial about it yesterday, be sure you know it!!
lt_yao
I have some textures already but thanks anyway. here's some more now just to fix some mistakes.
Puma06111991
Your images are not very sharp... Could you get them more sharp? It's kinda pitty to see the model looks okay, but the image itself sucks..
bumster
I agree with Puma, the images of your render aren't very sharp so we can't really see much of the detail.
lt_yao
Ok i'll make some more detailed screens. The only problem is that it renders slow for me. EDIT: Now i'm gonna start doing interior. Edited September 25, 2007 by lt_yao
FelleAndersson
Looks really awesome man Have a cookie EDIT: Well, I'm just experimenting now, and the textures (of the windows are just temporarly) But anyways: DAY NIGHT - Felle Edited September 25, 2007 by FelleAndersson
Puma06111991
Lol you're using 2DFX, do you texture in 3dsMax ? Ah ok, you just export a model and then define it in the IDE as a 2DFX ? And then you just place it in the normal objects part of the IPL? I would like you to have two cookies!! I have to try this Edit: And I think it sucks, dunno why Edited September 26, 2007 by Puma06111991

JostVice
No offence... but thats really out of scale mod star... and kinda boxy. with sketchup you can make '3d' windows and that, come on.. thats just boxy streets/buildings.
Gta-Modstar-121
i no your right there jost_vice thats why im goin to re-scale the buildings and re-texture them, i only did a quick map and make the buildings look better
Sgt. Sev3n
looking good gta-modstar just a suggestion from me would to really increase the plane of those roads going down the hill (by the gas-station looking building) as they look much too steep. aad
AMAGADD HIGH POLY![]http://i20.servimg.com/u/f20/11/24/59/50/house11.jpg[/] what high poly im wondering now? i do not see that much detail, except the windows may be a bit pushed back, it just looks so plain and flat, im missing the depth so work on that hollaz, besides all that a nice concept i would say. bumster
It's probably high poly for a building that's pretty much square.
Hollaz
well, not so highpoly, but for me, this squary house is highpoly for me, and it is still wip. (The windows are pushed back a bit, but that's not all... )
aad
@ Hollaz , if you count the stairs i see on there with it, it may be high poly by then, stairs are al a big polywaste but sometimes needed.
