Soooo you're just re-adding props already within the game's assets?

 

It'd be better if you introduced new models with collision and what not. Just adding another spawn location for a preexisting object isn't necessarily the most difficult or creative thing to do. You've got 3DS Max, don't you? Why not change the piling/grouping of the crates? You could just skew and attach objects together.

I started to model an interior for the Los Santos Forum

The interior is gonna be a basketball arena for the Los Santos Panic

I make textures by myself using some photographs from Textures.com website. Also there is some prepared textures on this site.

Sadly, I didn't hear about that or something like that... But on textures.com you can found all needed prepared textures: concrete, walls, roads, doors, windows. This site has only one minus: "download limit" per day.

Managed to get my hand on some textures but I'm thinking I'll try pulling the originals off GTA5 since they'll be more authentic and feel like it's GTA.

Are you doing those in sketchup? Sketchup's good to start with and all but 3Dsmax is the gold standard for that sort of stuff.

That said, good work thus far.

I appreciate that but from what I can see 3DSMAX isn't as straight forward by any means nor is it cheap! :O

3Dsmax is easy once you get the hang of it. I got myself a book and followed it from cover to cover and look at the sh*t I can do.

 

If I remember right, you could get yourself either a free trial or student version of it for free. Definitely worth it.

- the ads couldn't be converted probably because of different hierarchy in WDR compared to YDR

 

- I did not add any interiors

Also, if that's really FiveM map loader, wow...

I remember converting it and everything was messy and not working properly. (Mipmapping, LOD's, etc...)
