Im not, in the game im making well TC to be precised.

All the windows in it will not all be stuck in and out, cos i agree with u it'll be stupid.

And its no longer GTA Berris, Its GTA Paris! so the maps done (Just need a texturer and a 3ds max to SA converter

also player modelers and other people and im working really hard on this mod so please dont let this mod die

Cocky, i reconized those texture, please think about using some texture you've made because those one are really popular . And i knows the autor too, maybe i will not give you the permission to use them, so try doing you own . (talking about the pavement texture, the road one and the one on the building with the windown extruded . I thinks maybe the brick one too, but not sure .

No. Just no. No offense man but you need to back to the drawing board. Like, way back.

 

Where are the curbs? Why are there no sidewalks? Where do pedestrians travel in this madness?

 

And what is with the tunnels to nowhere?

 

I think you need to step back, think about what it is you want to achieve, and then ask yourself if you will do that

 

1: with that model

2: with those poly forms

3: with sketchup.

You just get more experience on 3ds max not Sketchup i havent seen any map mod made in sketchup without bugs

uhm you can barely model simple boxes in SketchUp, how did you learn to model complex human meshes in a matter of days...?

Second, you have never ever modeled a ped, you just added head/torso/shoes etc which is really really not modeling at all.

I think getting an object in-game is quite a step since there are a lot of people who can't even seem to do that.

Before all i could get ingame was a white non textured unsolid object,

Now i can make textures and collision files

one thing, if you want to stop CJ going almost black, open your col file in steve m's col editor go to edit and set col brightness to full ;

Texture's and model from scratch and a source image, windows etc extruded and detail added, comment's welcome, and yes I am considering a full Vice City HD mod, once i can get model's to import from 3DS to sketchup texture. IE taken from VC though max and into SU for reference

Sure, extruded windows look better than just plain textured ones, but where did all the decorative details of the original texture go? A plain white wall somehow doesn't look all that interesting.

I do not confess to being a texture artist, but ATM i working alone on this project, so i either use the old textures which look pixelated and LQ or try and make my own, I would love to have a texture artist on board to remake some or all of VC's textures, so if anyone's interested.

 

@ Ruprecht: It's not hard just time consuming, and as I have time and It's something I enjoy It's all good!

I could remodel whole VC to HD one too, with pleasure, but since i can model buildings with sketchup only, it might be really buggy
