Ehy Guys, i have been doing alot of dinamic objects when moddifying my IV to SA Map

but well i dont know why this happend to this object;

-The problem is that well, the object is correctly placed an everything, but when i touch it it automatically gets the half of the object underground -.-

even i tried putting the same object.dat line of another object i did that worked fine but even that doesnt worked

 

Could anyone help me?Please!

This is the line inside Object.dat

bluedisp, 20.0, 20.0 1.00, 0.05, 50.0, 0.0, 2.0, 0, 0, 1, 0, 0, 0.0, 0.0, 0.0, none

 

i even putted the line inside dynamic objects area in object.dat

 

Please Help me!i dont want to release the map with kind of this bugs! lol.gif

I think i could create cols in object.dat by adding lines of my new object placed ingame... And adding information for it.

0 is for none breakable cols so ill use this.

Ive made a map called Beris, Part of Berlin & Paris Put together.. This video is Paris W.I.P.

 

After ive done part of Berlin & Paris, i'd like someone to convert it ingame and make it solid.

Dude vid is a'ite but reverse purple faces and make sure to texture everything than ask for conversion , i can convert for you if you want ive converted some objects from sketchup to SA and even IV so i have experience.

@GTARandom: Also what do you mean Purple faces?

EDIT: It also was hard to make a eiffel tower thing.

If the faces are exported purple from Sketchup to SA they turn out invisible ingame , they have to be white ALL (This is Important) so right click each purple face and click Reverse Face!

What's that about "not a single line to block" or somethign with the roads?

 

They should not be "one face" like that, and making sure you add the lines helps you control how your model triangulates for real time, so I don't understand what that means in the video?

It means.. you know when you put one line and another to make a covering for the roads theres a line but i made it so there is no lines from one part of a road to another but tht failed lol tounge.gif

Now i have completed Paris, its onto Berlin now im trying to find a perfect map for me to edit and make in Sketchup.

I will make a video now or tomoz.

first, disable the shadow if your pc is not supporting it so good

and that map will look horrible in sa, too much empty spaces

Crap i double posted by accident lol

Actually you are far from being finished , add doors\shops to the buildings , add details to the roofs in every building you made.

 

You won't be able to import the model like that into the game engine (whichever you're planning to use).

Split the city into pieces (2~3 buildings each piece), it will make it much easier to work on buildings separately (your PC won't lag).

1. Im adding paths and sometimes on roads ill have a path in the middle of the road with tree's on it so there isnt much empty spaces smile.gif

2. I had a load of programs running so thats why it was sticking,

3. I am adding doors and windows to buildings after i've made Berlin and added a bridge to Berlin smile.gif

Ha! I forgot about gamecube. (I often forget that I have one!) But it is an awesome game, and wasn't nearly as popular as it should have been.

you could also use the sandbox tool to give terrain a much nicer shape tutorial by Puma
