Hah. Thanks guys for the comments.

 

CF33: Thats the plan wink.gif Going to texture then hopefully to SA(where it will look 10x worse due to me failing at lighting -,-)

 

Bit of an update. Worked on texturing a tad. The texturing metal plating around the building will be changed and (hopefully) blended in better. At the moment it looks tacky.

noelgamo: is that R* logo on a wii controller or something? Looks like it from that picture.

The terrain looks quite nice on that render. How do you get the textures to blend in quite well and seamlessly? If you would share smile.gif Roads look quite dull though, add height differences and steer away from the unnatural perfect-block roads as it looks unrealistic.

Anyhow, I haven't done much modeling since I moved to Windows 7 and couldn't get any modding programs to work, so I recently moved back to XP.

Little something I worked on today:

(Love the look of these lights at night inlove.gif . Although I think there are wayyy to many...)

 

Supermortalhuman gave me great help in working out how to use ParoXum's pre-lighting scene and helped me to fix the damn annoying blacker than black CJ .COL issue, so I think my model looks like 10x better ingame now!

 

Any feedback appreciated!

I know the roads is uber unreal i was just playing around LOL

about the blending in this tutorial theres apart where you it teaches us how to blend two materials

totally awsome noel, but keep it on 3D Max i wont like that awsome scene getting fked by GTA SA lack of lightning and effects,

 

Btw, can someone Guide me to a tutorial i saw here in GTAF about how to import your own light effects/ovnis(like those ovnis lamps got to be realistic) please

i wanna learn and play around with it to see how it works with my dirty hands tounge.gif

Yeah! I found my lost memory stick that had my map on it from October, so I spent today prelighting the map pieces and putting it all back ingame smile.gif. I also made this:

 

 

 

(Yup, that's a dead tied up cop at the end of the corridor in the motel tounge.gif)

I will put it ingame too after it's finished.

 

I'm not quite liking the entrance of the house, it's kinda blocky and I don't have any design in my head for it. confused.gif And maybe I'll scrap the bump window.

Hi,

 

Can anyone say me how i add lights to my Map?

(by this i mean how i do so my Traffic Lights,Lamp Posts and other map objects to get lights like GTA SA Stock Lamp Posts,Traffic Lights and stuff like that?)

 

Maybe for some ppl this is easy, but i dont know how to do it, if someone could explain me please?

You are awsome, it really helped me, there isnt any way of taking for example the shiny Ovni Lamp Post got and put it separatly, i need it for Brooklyn Bridge Supports Lights

 

Hope you can answer me that question as you did with the other one
