Windows seems a bit small for each floor. Good use of textures.

Lil update on the map I'm working on. Got the road system in and re-arranged some buildings and made some completely new ones. I know there are a few texture errors, and the map ends to just water, but that's going to be fixed.

Coin: Building looks great, but the windows look like they've been squashed... Maybe scaling upward a little bit would help? Looks awesome anyway smile.gif.

Timske: Looks great, but what about a landscape round it? If you're not planning on doing that, the model is gonna be a sh*t to get a road texture onto tounge.gif. Nice work man!

If so, and this goes for anyone else, get with me because I'm on MTA 1.0 now and I would like to start contributing maps (I plan to stay UNDER 1mb each because I don't think it's about pretty but more about GOOD gameplay in MP)

 

And it looks like that track will be good fun biggrin.gif

Model looks simple to me: just a plane, follow-me'd along a line. That's why the ends don't end up at eachother. Try to make the model more interesting, using a low fence on the sides of the track. Further, the mapping of the textures of especially the red-white stripes should be done properly. Get the textures from original SA models. They fit the game and they look good enough. About the size: maybe a little bit bigger? I guess it's going ingame and I guess it's going to Mta, so imagine 32 golfcarts on the course.

thats not your map to edit and its map wont have all those unwanted extras

just mucking around in max trying to get a handle on some different modifiers and ways of modeling..

 

if i do finish this it'll be for a FPS game of some sort, not gta.

since the start of pedrising lol.gif but the last 7 months without a PC i've lost my touch lol.gif

 

i should also mention i only spent 10 mins on the map yesterday and opened the file earlier and just used the stock max tree's to show people the perspective of it..

 

So far i've just made a 50x50 plane and used soft selection to make this.

 

next i'm gona try and figure out how to use the map spawner thing.. to just quickly map newly made trees i'll be making.. it should look a bit better then lol.gif

 

here's a building i spent 20 mins on..
