Hidden Interiors via the Ganton Gym!

Recommended Posts

I don't get it, I put a marker over denise's house, then I flew out of the gym, then I flew there, there was nothing there at all.

Please help.

I confirmed that the mega jump cheat (up up triangle triangle up up left right squore r2 r2) works in LC during the mission. I didn't think it would since it makes you jump lower in some interiors, but it does. It should be a piece of cake to get out to the street.

It's actually just southeast of where her house would exactly be; also, you have to be fairly close to markers for them to be seen, so fly around a bit.

Are you talking to me? I so, thanks, I'll try that out.

Thanks, your post actually got me to try and go to the bedroom.  Made it the first try.  You know why?  Strafe, R2 and L2.  I was able to fly over the barrier no problem.  Once I saw it below me (way below), however, things get interesting.  As soon as I let go of strafing, I start to drop, and strafing no longer works.  I had to maneouvre myself so that I landed on top of it perfectly.  Going to LC now to try it out.

I used the strafe technique but I've still never managed to land directly on top. The last time I just missed again and drifted under the bedroom. Instead of giving up and falling as I'd done before - I hit X and found that I rose until my head hit the bedroom floor. Edging along I found that I could hover up the side wall and over on to the bedroom ceiling.

Anyone know if you can get inside there?

OK, well right now, I'm on the ground where her house should be. Do I fly into the air southeast? Or just walk there?

Ok, it looks like I got lucky tounge.gif

I don't think there's a way in though.

Just caught LC on tape. I'm not sure if I can continue to hold L2/R2 to get higher up, because I can only see it when I target with R1 up. I'll upload the video in a sec.

EDIT: timmy2004, have you seen any maps? Pics > words. http://gtadomain.gtagaming.com/hiddeninteriors.html

EDIT 2: Dubbed the Liberty City teaser vid... enjoy biggrin.gif

No cheating device.

DuffMan: Man you were way south! It's true, you can keep moving with L2 and R2 even after you fall too far and the Loading screen flashes, so you gotta watch where you were before that.

I can't believe you made it to the bedroom without codes! That's way deep in the red zone. And all the way out to LC? You must be onto something with the strafing. I wonder if there's some flying technique that could be used to combat the red zone.

And if carpetdweller was actually able to rise from below the bedroom, that's weird too. You shouldn't be able to rise there.

I was never able to get inside the bedroom. It's a closed box.

Edit: Holding BOTH L2 and R2 locks you into the position you're in, even if you're higher than you're supposed to be and you're falling. Once you get deep into the red zone, you could hold L2+R2 to peg yourself there and look around.

I think i found where exactly CJ's House, Sweet's, and Ryder's is at... only problem... LOL... well...

According to this map, we're all in the dead center of the map itself... which is correct... you'd have to go south east from marker number 9 somehow and actually reach CJ's HOUSE from that marker... assuming the jetpack over water theory is correct, which it makes absolute sense that it is, you shouldn't have a problem once you pass that water... my guess... fly over the bridge.

The reason I believe this to be the spot for CJ's house is this...

When you park a nice, high sex appeal car outside of CJ's house, then walk inside... your sex appeal stays the same. Basically meaning the car is still close. But when you check with your parachute... your still up in the air, and the jetpack doesn't work...

Basically meaning CJ's house interior is out in the ocean in the middle of nowhere. I believe this to be correct. I'll try when i can... but something to think about, and definitely something to do. Maybe edison can sketch us up a map or schematic. cookie.gif

Here's a map of the southeast, but it's going to be hard to find it because you can't put a marker off the screen. Also, those big orange circles suggest you get stopped out at the mountain ridge.

That LC Teaser video is cool! If you don't try to look up, can you hang in there indefinitely?

I don't see why I got slapped down when I went for the stadium. The stadium is at the same level as everything else, so if you can do that over there, you would be inside the stadium.

LOL. I know it looks incredibly funny, and can probably be gotten ONLY with Gameshark or something, but I'm pretty sure this is where it is.

Made it to the stadium... yet it's another one too high!

Shortly after holding R2/L2, or going too far it, on either LC or this place, my jetpack dies. I'm wondering if I can sort of circle near where I know it's safe to gain height first?

Still happy it's possible to *sort of* make it to those places!

EDIT: Hmm, looking at where I got stopped in LC and the jetpack died, it seems that's where the solid area on the map was marked. Also, it was right around the center of the stadium (where I know it's solid from edisoncarter's video), it died there too. Solid ground = dead jetpack, is what I think.

Duffman, did you write the "Secret FAQ guide" for Gamefaqs.com?

Or is that another "TheDuffMan"?

LOL! I knew your name sounded familiar. Would you believe that I was trying to post my FAQ for Multiplayer and they gave me a B1TCH of a time!

its located at:

http://www.gtaforums.com/index.php?showtopic=165831

They said not enough info... i stopped messing with them after that. They got at least 8 faulty codes... AT LEAST. And reporting them does nothing.

I had emailed you with 2 hints I believe. I see you haven't updated since the entering of Restricted Area... I also notice I ain't get no recog... confused.gif

[edit]

P.S. LOL. Your gonna have one hell of a time trying to write this thread into a FAQ Guide.

Heh, it took 3 tries for mine to be submitted. bored.gif Very strict.

And yes, lack of updates b/c of work, etc, me enjoying this topic sigh.gif

I've already added your name in this next update... you'll see it. Email backlog though: no clue. I'll try and get through the rest sometime and I'll probably see yours!

BTW, I don't use a gameshark.

LOL. Strict with who they want to be. Their cheat code section could use some strictness... instead of like 8 versions of the same code, and 19 that don't work.

I've already submitted more then 3 times...

but i notice the little FAQ guide for Duality... its like 5k... LOL

and i'm sitting here like... 19k is LACK OF CONTENT?!?!

I guess they want me to dance, and put a thousand ascii pictures in it and the whole nine. lol

cool to know. I've been busy with the same thing... primarily work. Christmas time around the corner, gotta haul in that paper to start buying gifts...

I'm on the giver's side, not the getter's side. I'm too old damn it.

I tested OD fa real's theory and it's true, that's where CJ's house is. I used a gameshark walk-through-walls code to escape from CJ's House, then flew up to the centerline to find stuff on the map and see which world I was in. The map shows where you really are, not the Ganton Gym offset map.

Markers for Ryder's House and Sweet's House are in their correct places.

From CJ's House, I found:

6) strip club

9) b dup's apartment

5) record label hall

4) inside track betting

12) og loc's house

13) barber

From Ryder's House, I found:

10) b dup's crack palace

26) car mod garage 2

Both world were all black. I couldn't figure out how to get into the marker for Sweet's House.

Should see if there's anything at Smoke's House.

hmm... smoke's house was used as a cutscene...

glad that it was found... only problem is it probably can't be gotten unless with gameshark.

i'll be looking for more of these interior types. good work edison... you always come thru. cookie.gif

[edit]

another interior is the atrium, which is where you and big smoke had the giant shootout with the russians... but this is located at ground level... believe me... i saw my jetpack thru the wall. LOL... then did the para-check and it show'd the same thing it did outside. Maybe viewing this building with different hells will expose the inside of it, but it can also be entered and I really don't find this as GREAT as most if not all the other of our finds.

Big Smoke's house is DIRECTLY UNDER the Large Garage (viewed from Warehouse heaven, marker 8 aka LC world)

in accordance with the Gym version of the SA Map... meaning not where everything REALLY IS.

As to where is its interior... no clue.

BUT if it follows the same principles as the others (CJ, Ryder, Sweet)

Then this mofo is most likely... almost DIRECTLY WEST of CJ

But that... is an assumption

Assuming they kept his interior at his house, same as they did with CJ, Ryder, and Sweet.

P.S. Man... I didn't think this thread would be so popular and also so INTERESTING. Seems like we find new sh*t every week guaranteed.

Ryder's house is loaded under B Dup's Heaven... Marker 10.

CJ's must be under Sky Heaven... Marker 2.

Were you able to see some of the interior to Sweets or none whatsoever?

Think its a marker, or a heaven/world we know about?

The following is all speculation: (and slightly off-topic)

I was just letting my mind wander on what some of the unused interiors were intended for and started thinking about that tiny bedroom.

As it's solid and has no exit marker I believe it to be the setting of a cutscene. I haven't really done many burglary missions but I thought they were generally larger. Due to the fact that it is so small, and doesn't even have a little hallway outside the door, I think this is the setting of one of those quick 2 second cutscenes.

We are fairly sure that this is the home of a female, but the only strong females in the game are Kendl and Catalina. Except for...

The Girlfriends.

In the game we do get to see a single room inside Mille's house. What if all the girlfriend's originally had a bedroom that was used for quick pre-'coffee' sequence. This room is quite bare and skanky looking so I'm thinking - Denise.

I know this is just me hoping for New and unseen things to find and I'm sure someone's gonna come back with "Don't be a f*cking idiot! You see that bedroom in the cutscene when..."

But if it was and they each had an interior, then that would mean much more exploration was needed to find them all. I'd also be interesed to see if you ever did make it to Barbara's house or if she just took you there and then at the cop station.

Just a thought.

That small bedroom is hard to reach, I can see it in the distance, and then the jetpack dies. confused.gif

Might go out into the ocean and just wander around, there must be something out there. Also going to take another look over at the Los Santos airport, hoping there's a way to see the baggage interior at the beggining, the jetpack died after a few seconds of flying there though.

Also, if there's a possible way to reach the area where the Stadium music is played, could this mean that there's another yellow arrow nearby which lets you into the Stadium? May be worth a look.

that water map is great, now I know why I could fly around over the airport, but sank over that white circle...

i think i know where smokes crack palace is, but only in the "real world".

its at this place in LS, so if anyone feels like converting that for the interior map.. user posted image

(in the generator room is a non-solid ceiling part, you can super-jump out there and fall to the ground)

edit: uhm..could also be a bit south east of it..I flew around after I landed

edit2: i have the pictures of 5 new locations from the map (wanna make pictures of all places that are accessible without gameshark), what is that huge hall at the ammunation?

On the secret tattoos: Is it just me, or do the tatoo you get on the back seem more "black" than all the other tatoo's you get? They always seem more dark-brown, than actual black.

Oh, and hans anyone had any problems with gamr after saving with the new tatoos? (You'd have to cheat at least once, in order to get the jetpack).

I haven't had any problems with it. I think the tatoos are much better darker because there noticiable, some of the tatoos you can't even see.

I was exploring the SF garage @ ground level, and noticed that it's possible to import cars. and you can easily locate the car by looking at the crane.

i was also exploring the garage itself, and noticed a calendar.

i shot a couple of pics:

http://spotten.net/gta/bilder/sa/january2.jpg

so now we (or, at least I) know that SA takes place in January.

TWA:

Which Hell did you find the garage interior in? I've only been there a couple of times through the gym entrance and both of those had just the garage exterior. I think those were the daylight one (after entering point 2) and the Black hell direct from the gym. The only time I've seen the garage interior loaded is during the Liberty mission.

I know the Liberty thing has all been worked out now, but I'd like to see if it all ties together and Liberty is only visible in the same Hell/World/Universe as the garage interior.
