Hidden Interiors via the Ganton Gym!

Recommended Posts

What up all. I know i've been gone forever. Let me know if there have been any new updates or new heavens found. Also if anyone needs me to change the first post in the thread to link it to better sites, etc

Well noone comes here anymore confused.gif Welcome back though wink.gif Well I thought I found a new heaven but nobody replied yet.... -Slurp Slurp, Hmmm... Sprunk!

@ Fireman - Are all those pics taken from the same 'universe' as found in this topic: LINK?

I know you get there a different way, but is it the same place?

What's going on in the second image? It looks like some blue sky in a black sky world.

Well it's just like when you head over to og loc's house via Ganton Gym, it turns black then to although it's a blue heaven.

I don't know if it's the same heaven I think it is but I don't know for sure, since with the topic you just gave me they go to the boat school marker. -Slurp Slurp, Hmmm... Sprunk!

EDIT: It doesn't care which thing marker you enter you get the same result.

i know this thread doesn't get much publicity anymore, and thats because we're sure that everything has already been found.

its good to see the threads still been up and pinned.

if any questions, feel free to hit me up on AIM or drop me a note for my email.

this includes u also carpet, don't act brand new. lol

Hey OD, good to see you around again. "The Grandaddy of Interiors" eh? I guess thats true. Yeah, you're right. This topic is nowhere near as active as it once was but i think that's because everything's been found.

It still gets interest but there's rarely anything new to post about. I still get PMs every now and again asking for help, but I think everything's been covered here by now.

I'd like to give a personal thanks for not only giving me something extra to do once I'd finished the game, but also for expanding my knowledge of how games are put together.

This topic started as a bunch of wanderers jetpacking of into darkness and ended with full knowledge of game files and coordinates. It's because of this topic that I bought a cheat device which has given me plenty of other uses since.

I'm not "brand new" anymore but I'm always happy for someone to show me something new. This topic did that for me. I don't know why I latched on here, but I did. Amongst all the "Bigfoot" and "Ghostcar" topics this stood out as a way to see something new and different that was real. I enjoyed the discovery and the chance to explore.

I remember the first time that Denise's bedroom and Helena's barn were found. It's strange how little we knew of "hot coffee" at the time.

If it hadn't been for this topic I probably would have finished the game and left these forums until the next game is released. I probably spent more time searching for interiors than I did playing the game itself. I don't know why, but the challenge of seeing things that weren't meant to be seen grabbed me and hooked me.

Btw: feel free to add any links to any of my topics (in my sig). Most of them are simply things that have been posted here, but I've broken it all down and left everything but the accumulated important information necessary for exploring the interior heavens.

Also -I like the new sig (although it's not as menacing or mysterious as the old one and your avatar doesn't appear for me.

Thanks again -

Carpet

yeah. it has been a very long time, and no need to thank me. You guys are just as equal contributors in this thread. Man, i found the little glitch, but without u guys, this thread would be 4 pages long. LOL

Definitely the old crew was me, u and edisoncarter. btw, what happened to him? I'm gonna try emailing his maxbot registered account.

But i'm glad to see things still here and people still searching. Its been up for almost a year now, i believe. Damn...

I've been busy at www.myidone.com - i currently own the site and run everything there

Has WTP been around? He IMs me here and there telling me about how he's always banned. LOL

Its been a while, and i'll make sure that link in your sig is in the first post.

btw, when i got back, my sig nor avatar were visible. I've been lazy/busy or both. I'll fix that ava right now. lol

and thank YOU for contributing as much as you did. Couldn't have done it without u.

Quick Question: Has anyone yet found the fully loaded club without a cheating device?

If not, I think I've made a discovery!

I got there be leaving Rusty Brown's. It's very close to OG Loc's House (I don't know which cardinal direction, but if you go to his house, you CAN'T miss it).

I'll be back with more information (when I have access to picture-editing software to make a map: I'm at school right now).

CarpetDweller

I think that he knew it had been found, but was asking if people had got there without a cheat device. This was thought to be impossible for quite a while because only the first few heavens could be reached without one.

•I knew that Rusty Brown's and the Club were in the same heaven.

•I knew where they were in that heaven.

•I knew that you can reach Rusty's without extra cheats.

•I knew that you could exit Rusty's without extra cheats.

I remember flying to the Club in the heaven, but I probably had a cheat disk in. So I knew it was possible, but I'm not sure how many have actually done it.

Dude! I REALLY need to know where that is in the game! The name of that model is SOOO important! That;s the live TV. Anyone, please PM me or Steve-M or Opius or Ashdexx with any info about that black rectangle!!! e.g. what ipl is it in? What IDE is it in? What is the object's name, and what TXD does it use!

Thanks so much for the info anyone provides!

sh*t, you can email me about it [email protected]

MisterVercetti

True, but you CAN get there without the use of a cheat device. VERY easily, in fact.

You see, the reason we haven't been able to get there without using a cheating device yet is because there has been a common misconception that there are certain interiors that you can enter, but cannot leave. Such interiors include Rusty Brown's, the SF Tattoo Parlor, and the SFPD HQ.

However, said belief is FAR from true. Truth is, there is no such thing as an interior that you can enter but not leave. After all, you HAD to have gotten to that yellow marker somewhere, and considering it's the same point that seemingly "reloads" the interior once you've entered, that means that when you enter the yellow marker, you're actually already INSIDE the interior; the graphics just aren't loaded yet. As an example of this, at the beginning of interior exploration, it was thought that the two-level Ammu-Nation and the "Super" 24-7 were also impossible to leave, but, lo and behold, we have found ways to leave them (both via weak walls). And such are the three listed above. They're a little harder to escape, due to the fact that speed and concentration are required, but trust me, it CAN be done.

Now, all three interiors can be left the same way, and here's how. First, load the interior as you normally would by entering its appropriate yellow marker. Now, pull out a gun ([Micro] SMG works best for this job), and then "reload" the interior. Now, QUICKLY turn 180 degrees, manual aim your gun at the door (if you did it correctly, it should still be closing) and FIRE. If you were quick enough, the door should be held open by the gunfire. Now, KEEPING THE GUN AIMED (as to bypass the "reload" point) walk through the door, popping a couple of rounds into it in case it decides it wants to close. Once the door is shut behind you, lower your gun. You should now be in a little room I like to call the "antechamber".

Before I continue, let me explain antechambers a little more in-depth. Every non-cutscene interior has one; its purpose is to stop you from falling while you exit an interior. Some are simply made of black walls and a black floor: some have black walls, but a lightly textured floor (like Rusty Brown's, for instance). Some have graphics loaded for all the walls and floors (the next time you leave your Jefferson safehouse, check out its antechamber and you'll see what I mean).

Anyway, the point is, these antechambers are the key to leaving Rusty's, the lost tattoo parlor, and the SFPD HQ. Simply respawn your jetpack, and fly up, up, and out!

Rusty Brown's is by far the easiest to leave, since the walls of the antechamber are solid (the ceiling is weak, however, which is your method of escape here). The Tattoo Parlor is a little bit more difficult; only the floor of its antechamber is solid, so it's easy to fall off if you're not careful. I wouldn't bother trying to leave the SFPD HQ this way; since it'll score you a two-star wanted level even once you've left the interior (since the game still thinks you're in the police station) every time you pull out a gun. Plus, though by all means possible, it's insanely difficult to leave, mainly because the game always loads a cop to your immediate left, and the stupid gun always wants to lock on to the cop instead of going into manual aim, and there's cops blasting away at you from all directions. And it's not worth it, since you can enter its heaven much easier via the "Super" 24-7.

So, a brief outline of the process:

Step 1: Load interior by entering yellow marker.

Step 2: Pull out machine gun, reload interior.

Step 3: QUICK 180, manual aim gun at door, shoot door open.

Step 4: Keep gun aimed, walk through door.

Step 5: Respawn jetpack, fly out.

Now, keep in mind that the Club, Rusty Brown's, and the SF Tattoo Parlor are all part of the same heaven, so you can get there from either of the latter two interiors. I really wish I had a map to show you how to get there, but basically, if you know where to find OG Loc's house, you know where the club is; the two are so close together, they're chafing.

Some interesting facts about the club:

--You can fly inside the concrete column in the middle of the club.

--In addition to the fog effect, there are multiple multi-colored lights beneath the dance floor. Whether or not you can see them from inside, I'm not sure (I haven't been inside in awhile.)

--The brick walls you see behind the windows are actually separate from the club itself.

--Strangely, once, I was able to buy a Sprunk while standing on top of the club's antechamber; alas, I have not been able to duplicate the feat.

Go ahead, try it out! Happy visiting!

(If somebody could post screenshots once they get there, I'd be mighty grateful.)

thanks for this. another method could be to set up a jetpack right at the entry of the yellow marker, and once u reload, you'll have a jetpack on you, and then u can turn around, and hopefully the door will still be open.

that can be used to exit SFPD.

with the jetpack on, you can't enter any yellow markers. just hope u do the 180 and turn before the door closes.

what interior did u enter or leave from when u got to where u were fireman. odds are thats already a found heaven.

we've listed all heavens in the thread from looking thru the gaming files and IPLs.

if i'm correct, its 1-18 without 13 present.

Well he probably entered 2 things plus it doesn't car to which marker you teleport you always get the same restult. I teleported to Brothel first but then you get automatically teleported to a cut-scene marker. Atleast to a place where the cutscene starts. So maybe it's a cut scene heaven or something.- Slurp Slurp, Hmmm... Sprunk!

That could work, but there's a slight problem... actually, a few. One, the door doesn't swing when you first enter the marker (since, before the interior is loaded, there are no doors to speak of; they load with the rest of the interior).

Second, you'd have to somehow bypass the "reload" point in order to get back to the antechamber. As far as I know, there are only two ways of doing this; having a jetpack on, and aiming a weapon. The jetpack is hopeless, since the jetpack vanishes if you happen to grab it as you enter, and it takes far too long to enter the cheat; by then, the door will have been closed for a good five seconds. Thus, you're stuck using the gun anyway.

(FUN FACT: This method can also be used to leave the Attrium interior and enter "Ghost Los Santos", which is fun to explore since only a few roads and buildings are visible, yet everything still exists. Dare you attempt to navigate the mysterious Floating Traffic Light Jungle? Just eliminate the reload part; because the Attrium is one of the few interiors that actually loads in its precise location, the doors behind you will still be swinging shut, since you walked through those same doors to enter it.)

@fireman - whatever interior u used to get there is the interior heaven its in. i'm a thousand percent confident everything's already been found. If u used brother to get there and u see the TV floating, then the TV is in Ho Heaven... lol. I be damned if i remember what number it is. Carpet's got the listings now and he's been running it well. I'm sure everything was found after edison found the cutscene for Wuzi's Place.

@mistervercetti - enter jetpack and take it off, then enter the yellow marker, then grab jetpack when it reloads interior, and turn around. and that is a way to enter atrium. it was first found when we figured out the atrium trick, probably back like 20 pages or so.

Well I just said it always got the same result if you enter the Liberty heaven you get the same stuff if you enter the Ho heaven you get the same result if you enter any marker i ALWAYS had the same result! By the way before the cutscene starts cj only wears an underwear. How about a heaven which can only be triggered by scenes?- Slurp Slurp, Hmmm... Sprunk!

Ohhh... I see. Good idea. For the frustrated person, that is a hell of a lot easier than my "shoot the door" method. Just hope the jetpack's close enough... wink.gif

And you know, like I said earlier, even with this new method, it really isn't worth leaving SFPD, since the gun=two-stars rule applies until another interior is entered, and you can enter the same heaven through the "Super" 24-7.

You know, that seems possible... a heaven with only cutscene interiors. However, considering just about every cutscene interior has a yellow marker associated to it (Woozie's is one of the VERY FEW exceptions... in fact, it suggests that you may have been able to enter at one point in earlier versions), we probably would have found it by now.

@ - Fireman & OD fa Real

I think we've all got a bit too attached to the idea of Heavens being self contained places.

Remember that the only thing that defines a heaven is "What is loaded at the time".

So by that definition Fireman has found a new heaven [or many new heavens that are all the same].

By the standard definition of this topic an "Interior Heaven" is what is visibly loaded at the same time as a particular interior. This would be visible if you escaped ANY of the interiors in this heaven without using a Yellow marker.

By that definition Fireman has NOT found a new INTERIOR heaven.

He's just found a way to make certain things load. Which is really all the interiors do, but in a different way.

So, in short, everyone's right.

---------------------------------

@ Fireman - Can you explain to me again in simple terms how you activate this heaven, and what it has to do with Cutscenes of CJ in his underwear?

I don't have the game on PC. I've never used coordinates or teleporters. Keep it simple and step by step for me.

Imagine you're talking to a child.

Or an inebriated infant Chimpanzee with learning difficulties. You know - Keep it on my level.

You can PM it to me if you want.

----------------------------------

The address of the Found Interiors List has changed.

If you use the old link you will be redirected to the new site, but I haven't worked out a way of removing the adverts that pop-up from the old host.

This now forms part of a selection of pages all based around the Hidden Interiors.

They can be found: Here

These will all be getting updates over the next few weeks.

Finally, I want to get a link on there to images of all the interiors. If you already have an images site and would like me to link to it, or just want to contribute some images - please pm me. It is my intention that people will be able to view a picture of each interior alongside its name and number.

Hello little boy I'm going to explain YOU how to enter this! Start a new game, and it'll begin in black if you press escape you will be able to walk cj while still in the darkness (you are in thye middle of grove street then) now I teleported to the brothel marker (you can also use any other markers) . Now I was inside brothel witht the text Francis international airport, Liberty City etc. now it teleported somewhere else (blackness). and then when I skipped the other scenes I got in the world.... You might be able to do this on ps2 to you knew since you start at grove street, you might try running to cj's house (maybe it's already open). - Slurp Slurp, Hmmm... Sprunk!

Thank you

Ok, I think I get it now. So pressing escape on PC during cutscenes gives you some control while the cutscene tries to continue?

When you teleport to the Brothel marker (when NOT in a cutscene), does the brothel usually load whichever heaven you started in?

It does sound slighlty similar to the "SA Roughdraft / Ugly" glitch which relies on starting the Boat School cutscenes while in Binco Heaven and then failing.

There isn't a heaven specifically for cutscenes because that's what the "normal" heavens are for.

•Woozie's casino mission cutscenes are in Misty Heaven.

•The Doherty garage cutscenes are in Liberty Heaven.

•The opening cutscene at the game's start uses Wardrobe Heaven + the exterior world.

Maybe this is some kind of Default state that the game has when it doesn't know what's supposed to be loaded.
