Hidden Interiors via the Ganton Gym!

Here's something new to play with. It forces you directly into a heaven. In lines 2-6 the right column of 00000001's is the heaven number for L3+L1 (1) and lines 8-12 the right column of 00000000's is the heaven number for L3+L2 (0). You can change them to whatever heaven you want: Liberty = 00000001, B Dup = 00000002, Ho = 00000003, Theif = 00000004, Gym = 00000005, RC = 00000006, Ammu = 00000007, Burning = 00000008, Cluckin' = 00000009, Burgershot = 0000000A, Misty = 0000000B, Macisla = 0000000C, Wardrobe = 0000000E, Binco = 0000000F, LS Tattoo = 00000010, Rusty = 00000011, Zip = 00000012.

I just threw this together for experimentation. Probably not all 5 lines are needed, but it would take some rebooting and experimenting to confirm which ones could be reduced.

Edit:

To be clear, this doesn't properly transport you to a heaven and do the initialization like a yellow marker would. It just slams you directly into it.

The first thing I noticed going from 0 to 1 is people are still there, cars are still there, though invisible, and spawn codes still work. The radar map is gone, but your start button map still works, so you can set red target marks.

It looks like the solid surfaces are not changed. I flew up to LC and it was all visible, but no solid surfaces. I'm testing now if traveling a ways across the map will cause them to be loaded.

Edit:

The button assignments were too confusing for me so I swapped them. I wanted the heaven on the upper button (L1) and the ground on the lower button (L2).

In lines 2-6 in the right column is the heaven number for L3+L1 (0) and lines 8-12 in the right column is the heaven number for L3+L2 (1), so you can change it to whatever heaven you want (up to 9, over that use hex, 10->A, 11->B, 12->C, 13->D, 14->E, 15->F, 16->10, 17->11, 18->12)

Where would you put 10->A ????

e.g. heaven 10 would be 0000000A.

Edit:

To get the solid surfaces to load, I entered the marker to leave CJ's house and then held down L3+L1 for Liberty Heaven as I was walking out the door. I was in Liberty Heaven when I got outside, and it had set up all the solid surfaces for me. I went up and checked out Sweet's house and it's solid.

So it looks like to properly set yourself up in a heaven with its solid surface, you can step into any marker and hold down the buttons to divert it to the heaven number you want.

Edit:

I confirmed this with Liberty City. I went to that $20K house near the SF Garage (could have used the driving school or anything convenient), stepped into the marker to go outside, held L3+L1 for heaven 1, put a marker at the end of the SF airport runway, went up and it was fully there with the normal solid surfaces.

CarpetDweller

It's definitely there. I had so much trouble finding that place until I followed WTP's instructions.

You have to have entered through the el corona safehouse or the map won't be aligned correctly for you.

Another tip I have for anyone who can't find interiors is:

when you're sure you are at the right place - When you think you've gone up above where it should be. Make sure the wide angle view is selected and press square to decend while using the left stick to rotate (the radar will spin). This way if you missed it on the way up because it was behind you, you should now glimpse it as it flashes past.

BTW: Had my first skybox encounter yesterday. Freaky.

EDIT: About that diner - I went there by going through the wall of the El Quebrados Ammunation and heading north east. The one I found was very dark, almost black behind the orange wall. I could see the side with the tables perfectly, but I couldn't really see anything on the side with the stairs. Judging by Edison's pics it is possible to see this side more clearly. I thought it might be the time I was there so I put the speed up time cheat on and the day went past without revealing anything. Anyone know why?

e.g. heaven 10 would be 0000000A.

But that is to short to be 1 line of a gameshark code so what would be the rest of the line? Do I just leave the rest of the line 0's like 0000000A 00000000 or would it be 00000000 0000000A ?

CarpetDweller

Zinga - as far as i understand it you type all 12 lines as they appear in Edison's above post if you want to go to Liberty. The 5 lines that end in 1 are what point you to that particular heaven. 1 is how the game refers to that heaven.

The heaven numbers in this case should be as here.

To change your destination heaven all you would do is change the last number on these 5 lines. Everything else would remain the same.

If I'm right then the correct code for Rusty Heaven would be:

Goto Heaven (GameShark/CB NTSC)

L3+L1 = (H) Rusty Heaven

L3+L2 = (0) Outdoors

E005FBFD 00700942

2066B868 0000000H

2066C320 0000000H

2066C5B4 0000000H

206B209C 0000000H

206B3378 0000000H

E005FEFD 00700942

2066B868 00000000

2066C320 00000000

2066C5B4 00000000

206B209C 00000000

206B3378 00000000

Because H = Heaven 17.

Liberty = 1, B Dup = 2, Ho = 3, Theif = 4, Gym = 5, RC = 6, Ammu = 7, Burning = 8, Cluckin' = 9, Burger = A, Misty = B, Macisla = C, Wardrobe = E, Binco = F, LS Tattoo = G, Rusty = H, Zip = I.

[EDIT: The above numbering system is partly wrong. Edison corrects it further down the page.]

There doesn't appear to be a heaven with the number 13, so I have skipped a heaven with D.

I'm only guessing but I would assume that the second batch of lines with all the zeros after 'E005FEFD 00700942' could be changed in a similar way to alter which heaven you start in. but I'm probably wrong about that. I don't have gameshark so can't try these.

The other day when I was testing out the 'Floating Cars' cheat, I saw a save disk near (or more likely... far above) Katie's house. Now I decided to just fly up there with the Jetpack to see if I could find it again, but unfortuantly it never appeared.

I don't remember the location as when I saw the save disk, I was quite a distance away from it, but it could defintly be somewhere near Katie's house. Seeing as all the girlfriends actully have bedroom interiors, could there have been a chance of actully saving it there as well?

Has anybody managed to get to Salvatore/Ken's office in Caligula's yet? (I don't mean inside Caligula's interior, but theoretically..)

And also Woozie's basement-ish place in the Triad casino? I had a flick through the topic.. didn't see anything about those two. tounge.gif

@ Adamcs - I'm very interested in finding Rosenburg's Office myself. I don't think anyone here has found it yet. I expect only a small part of it ill be solid - but hopefully the floor.

I don't even remember Woozie's basement.

Maybe we need to start thinking like game designers. If I were one, where would I put it?

@ Anyone who knows about this stuff:

When you have a line of code - I know it can tell you which heaven it is in, but does it also say the coordinates of the interior?

Hmm... I went to Caligula's and the Four Dragons Casino, jetpack'd directly upwards for about 5 minutes or so, and eventually I could hear the casino music playing in the background. But no yellow markers or such. Above Caligulas however, there was a floating door tounge.gif The same door that required the keycard, presumably..

edison, do you have a debugger? Or did you make one? I make codes for games also, but if there is a lack of labels like here in SA, I usually dont try. Are you working with just the labels it has or have you gotten the full SLUS? I remember the old days of hacking GTA 3 and SOCOM lol. Just curious what your method is.

@adamcs... we haven't found both, but i'd assume Ken Rosenburgs office to be...

1. Possibly in Liberty Heaven

2. At one of these heights...

1097.52

1056.4

1003.45

1022.65

3. Either directly at the Casino's location, or a bit east of the casino's location.

I haven't checked for myself yet, as searching for certain interiors using the gym map is hard when its out in the water. (here lies the gym map flaw)

@rule breaker... those streaking white lines across the sky caused by the blinking red light? there supposed to simulate a high altitude plane... they only spawn a certain distance away from you, so there's no way you can catch up. lol. unless edison makes a "freeze things in the sky" cheat (which he probably can do)

@carpet... in terms of that diner... maybe since different times don't affect it, try different weathers... make it all sunny. I also do believe the last column of 0's in edison's code to be the exterior world.

@edison... that force heaven cheat is DEFINITELY nice. So we've also found out that solid areas only spawn thru certain heavens... (i was going to say heaven, but some solid areas appear in every heaven, some heavens, 1 heaven) what would be good to add to that, is that everytime it rotates until it hits 18, then it goes back to 0. Also, L2's gonna be a problem for those who fly to the left. LOL

woozie's basement-thing is the janitor's office, where you set up the casino heist... so what, no spoiler! lol. if you haven't beaten the game, you shouldn't be reading the interiors. lol. this is packed full of spoilers...

ok ok... here's your spoiler.

hmm... now that carpet mentioned it...

if i were a game designer.... i'd hire edison...

but besides that... i think... i'd want to play.

did someone mention socom? TANGO SPOTTED! TANGO DOWN!

hoo-yah

holy sh1t. well... i'll be...

I'm going to ask 2 questions...

1. If you got him up there, and how?

2. If he spawned there

1. how'd you get him up there? if it was up to me, i would put the "recruit anyone" cheat for gameshark, get him in a car, float him up there, then enter the flying cheat and fly the rest of the way. after, of course, FORCING liberty city heaven with your GS cheat... thats how i would have done it... at least, if i wanted to get him up there...

2. Was he just there when you got there?

if he was there, thats some freaky sh1t. LOL. Was he the only ped? did this happen using the force heaven? (which I don't think was the case... as i remember you saying earlier how Liberty City wasn't solid. Did you find anyone else? Like 2pac in Marco's Bistro? and they said elvis was dead...

I'm working on yellow marker redirectors. Can we start making a list of the top most interesting places to redirect to that you normally can't get to? So far I'm thinking

- LC of course

- Brothel 1 and 2

- The airport

- Pleasure domes

- SFPD HQ

What cut scene locations would be most interesting?

If there's something that's still not found but you know the game's internal name for it, I can it. Do we know which name the casino manager's offices are?

What are some places that have yellow markers that are least interesting that I can take over?

I did the hidden tattoo parlor, but it's not as interesting as you would think. You get there, but the shop owner isn't there. I'm still looking into this.

i think i can help with that...

one obvious one is Hidden Tattoo parlor. LOL

and edison, there's an interior listed as

1,98,"SMASHTV",0,2,0,24

in liberty heaven... I'll be damned if i know what that is.

also...

1,8,"LACS1",4,4,0,24

1,6,"MAFCAS2",10,2,0,24 [one of these 2 might be the office]

1,2,"MAFCAS2",10,2,0,24

Under B Dup's Crack heaven I'll have to mention

2,0,"CARTER",2,0,0,24

as none of us know what the F*** carter is. (besides Vince from the raptors)

I also ran into an interior called

3,3,"S1TEST",0,0,0,24****

its supposedly in Ho Heaven, and it was found in the enex listing of GEN_INTB.IPL

there's also a PDOMES shown on your map near the safehouse cluster at jefferson, ls.

I know thats a pretty long list, but I'm trying to help as much as possible.

I think this is Rosenburg's office. It's in B Dup heaven above Caligulas. I got there by going through the Johnson House wall and entering Ryder's place.

Nothing seems to be solid. No furniture inside. Bit of a disappointment.

----------------------------------------------------

Edit: Don't forget Rusty Brown's on that list.

The Angel pine trailer has a solid floor so that might be interesting.

I'm not too sure on what you asked edison, although I think i got the general idea. When it comes to my vote, I think the most interesting thing that has been found... is the Girlfriend's rooms. Partly because it was a theory that they existed, and now we have all 6. Believe me... if we take a vote and a thousand new people who just happened to skim thru read it... they're voting for the Hidden Tattoo parlor.

Well... i'd list off the following as being found and still interesting...

(in no specific order)

I'm listing these as long as I can come back from entering them... ie: not being stuck inside for all eternity (like Rusty's)

-2 floor ammunation

-Rusty Browns (i was thinking of editing my post, but I knew someone would catch it. LOL. Nice 1 carpet)

-Liberty City

-Ryders

-Sweets

-All girlfriends houses

-Angel Pine Trailer (thanks carpet. I had forgotten that one)

-That Cafe with the solid floors... (outside has chairs with umbrellas)

-Lost Tattoo parlor (although I don't find it interesting)

-INSIDE RC Battlefield... as the entire interior is solid.

-Burning Desire building interior

-Record Label Corridor

-SFPD

-The Pleasure Domes

-The Welcome Pump (i'm surprised carpet didn't mention this one)

-Crack Den

-Airport

-Vice Stadium

I'm not sure how your gonna do it edison, but if it has to do with the markers i'd suggest...

-having the markers show up in front of the girlfriend's houses.

-record label near vinyl records

-rc battlefield somewhere near zero's shop (spawning INSIDE, on battlefield)

-sfpd where sfpd is

-having the pleasure domes marker from the roof show up

-having the airport show up at all airports (who actually buys the ticket?!)

-putting the exit marker of the cafe right at the entrance of the cafe... and putting the marker TO the cafe... maybe in LS? no clue on that one.

-replacing the marker in SF tattoo place with the marker that'll send you to the hidden tattoo place.

also... although this is a wierd question to ask...

do you think your fellow gang members (members you recruited) can follow you into certain markers? I know that it has happened once. I had recruited a gang member and entered the OTB in Los Santos... he followed me inside. I got to thinking and thought... maybe this was allowed because Catalina had to follow you into a OTB. Which also makes me thing... Crack Den would allow you to bring gang members because Ryder followed you into there also.

Anyone remember any other interiors you can take your gang members to? It would be hot to put "recruit anyone" then recruit them, so they can have a gun... tell them to stay in a room, and then disband them... then shoot them. it'll be like hide and go seek... with an AK, or rocket launcher... or whatever.

-----------------

[edit]

Carpet... nice find. I guess that office is #127.

seeing as how...

125: 24/7 version 6 [N]$

126: Diner [N]$

Did you happen to find a couch inside, or a wooden board standing straight up? those are the 2 things I remember about Ken's office... the wooden board that they threw the knife at Maccer's d1ck, and the Couch Ken was sitting on, and when he tried to get up, Maccer and Paul were tied and hanging out the window to.

No, the only non-wall mounted feature in the place is the low round table. I was really hoping that as you got closer the furniture would appear.

I suppose that the absence of the couch makes sense as that had to be independently animated. but there are no desks. Just the same painting twice and a few mirrors.

One thing I did notice was that when I got there the view through the window was bright light. I went away and came back and it was dark. This could be the time of day, but I would of thought that would have been done by the sky, not the window. There do seem to be a lot of shadow/stealth areas around after entering Ryder's so maybe that affected it.

I've often wondered about Smashtv myself.

OD - you've obviously notiiced my obsession with the Welcome Pump. Yeah I somehow forgot that one. I've not tried to enter that since I got the walk thru walls thing. While I'm on the subject I'd like to check whether this works the same for me as it does for the gameshark users:

It allows me to pass through most things but not all. In the exterior world I can go through the floor and walls but usually find it impossible to drop through a buildings roof. I was hoping to use this to get me to some of the markers surrounded by invisible walls. I still hit walls sometimes. Maybe it's just a problem with horizontal planes, I'm not sure. It doesn't seem consistant. Anyway, just wanted to know if it was the same for everyone else. that's the AR Max (pal) I'm using by the way.

Also, the save point I was talking about IS above (or quite near) Katie's house... I believe that all (or most) of the girlfriends houses have save points somewhere above them. However this one didn't seem to have any solid floor so you can't save in the air, haha.

Also, for some reason, I'm sure that Rosenberg's office had much more in there, and there was a wooden brown table in there with a few chairs.

EDT: Dammit, made a mistake, argh.
