The burglary houses are pretty bland and repetitive. There may be a lot of them, but I don't think it took them as much work to make.

R* has spent a lot of time on details that weren't a big part of the game. They said in an interview they spent a ton of time on peds conversations and the way they interact.

That many burglary houses seems small when you compare it against the work they did in creating all of the outdoors world and all those exteriors of houses and buildings.

@edison... definitely... but at least the outdoor world and exteriors were going to be viewed almost all the time. Driving by, they want it to look as legitimate as possible. But the burglary houses seem to outnumber the safehouses, and some actually look better then any safehouse we have (excluding the modern one... which you can't even save to!)

It just seems like too much effort was put into the burglary houses... almost like... it was supposed to be used more. I don't know about you, but who was still doing burglary missions in Las Venturas? I stopped after I did the mission with Ryder. LOL.

Don't know if it's been found, but anyway... while I was leaving the SFPD HQ building, I found another yellow marker, which took me to OG Loc's house. But this arrow loads with the text 'OG Loc's' and also loads the outside porch of the house.

yes, that's been found before.

I made a new map, but it's not of interiors.

Here's the Key and a link.

Because people have been discovering interiors on different skewed maps, we are unsure how some relate to each other. I'm taking one step towards working this out by referencing where the SF garage appears on the game map - after you have left a specific interior through the wall.

For example:

The marker L-1 on the map shows the position of the Garage in Doherty, SF, after you have entered Thief Heaven through the Palamino Ammu-nation.

Hopefully, If you know where an interior occurs in one heaven you should be able to use this to give you an idea of where it should be from a different entry point. I know that there is that 'Skewed Maps' program but this gives you a quick idea all on one page.

If someone knows where some unmapped interiors are, but their entry point does not appear here - give me the details of which markers you entered between exterior world and the final heaven and I'll add it.

I'm fairly sure that the answer to that is yes. Can't remember the details at the moment.

The Jefferson Motel interior exists directly above the Burning Desire house in the real world. Judging by all the save icons it must appear in a cluster of Safe Houses. The visual interiors of these houses load in different heavens from the motel so you are only left with the Save icons.

You've given me another entry point to add to that map i just made. Thanks.

EDIT: I won't add it to the map as it's point would be in exactly the same spot as K-1.

meaning that's it is directly on top of it's own exterior (not the BD house, but you can see it from directly below.)

I though I should repeat this here. Audio zones usually give away the location of a hidden interior, but it looks like some of the points found in the audiozon map are only audio zones and nothing more.

Do you know what heaven that loads in?

Plz respond urgently

I think it's heaven 0, the outdoors world.

If you go to the container ship where that is, you hear the ship sounds when you go below decks. In this case the audio zone is just an audio zone.

Edit:

I noticed that hole in the ceiling at the Jefferson Hotel before too. It's in the middle of the safe house cluster.

You know, if you could mega jump or slide or somehow get yourself into that save disk icon, you might be able to fly around the safe house cluster without a cheat device. You could do my little trick of going to the gym, then reloading at the disk and then you might be able to fly the jetpack.

lol. i think everyone forgot about that nice trick you found. it was just aggravating that there were no weak walls in safehouses. but if you could land on that save disk, assuming it had solid ground, then that definitely could be done.

On a similar note to that trick, i noticed when you first start the game (sometimes before you go out) depending on what you did before you saved it... if you kill yourself, you might end up in some wierd hospital.

ex: I loaded my game with CJ in Grove st...

I didn't step out, just satchelled the whole area cuz i was bored and blew myself up. I ended up in a hospital in one of those hole-in-the-wall towns... i was looking at "Last Drop" something... warehouse was it? not too sure.

I think that edison's right. all appear to be on ground or near ground... 6, 9, 12.

I can understand amphib = amphibious assault... but what do you think amphidr = ?

i hate to double.... no, not really... but

@carpet...

That map concept is EXACTLY what we need, when its all said and done... that is what i was hoping demon could do when he was talking about the skewed map program. Let us save coordinates, then allow us to set one in one place, and all the others will fall into their correct corresponding places. I was thinking... wouldn't it be great to have a java map like the one on this site, but for interiors?

Continuing on what Carpet did yesterday with the car from LC, you could probably get a hotring racer from the stadium event down to the ground using walk through walls and cars fly. The hard part is, the map is disabled, so you'd have to fly around lost until you see something.

edison, a few questions...

1. Do u think the car can fly in that area? maybe the gravity is normal?

2. Do u think using either the L3-Lock/R3-Unlock or the Cars Have No Doors mod will allow you to exit the car during one of the stadium events? (or can you already regularly step out? lol. i haven't done it in a long time)

3. Although this serves no use... Using the water cheat, and making there be NO water, then using just the jetpack thru the gym... do u think the jetpack will still hit red zones? (now that the water is non-existant?)

I really hate to be a pain in the ass but I just got lost in this parallel of different maps and whatnot. Is there a map where it pinpoints of all the entry points (aka heavens) and the interiors they carry? I need to put that jetpack code and camera to good use. cool.gif

@OD fa real: why don't you try it out? though driving aimlessly in search of ground is boring. but as far as I know, Liberty City is above SF isn't it?

@adamcs: what're those pics? I'm kinda off the topic about those...

1. No, you can't fly in that area, but didn't Carpet get that LC car out by using walk (drive) through walls?

2. I forgot you can't get out of the car. What happens if you press triangle, does it cancel the mission?

3. Maybe, maybe not. I've always thought it was when you left Red County that you fell. It just looked like it was when going over water because the water is the border of Red County on the north side. Note that you drop at the border of Red County on the south side, without any water. Of course, if you have the no water cheat on, you're using a cheat device so you could as easily have the jetpack cheat on.

In response to to some of the above questions I tried the flying cars button cheat aswell as the car have no doors AR max cheat during the 8-Track stadium event. My findings:

The cheat works, but unless my flying skills are are suddenly AWOL you can't make it rise for more than a second. It's more like trying to control the disc on an air hockey table. because of the curved track it was hard to get a decent run-up. the only way I could escape was to turn on 'walk-thru walls' cheat and fly through the outside edge. I appeared to start falling but could stear the car as if it was flying. it's hard to tell what you are doing because I was in the black nothingness of ammunation heaven with no marker on my map and no radar to guide me. I think I kept going up without knowing it as I passed through the loading screen at least 3 times. The only ay to force my way to the ground was to hold R1 to give me a side view so that I could tell when I was pointing downwards.

After a while I saw the lighter land color, but it was too late - I hit water and couldn't get out. My map was also the shrunken version so I must have been far out at sea.

-----------------------

EDIT: getting ouit of cars gives you a warning to get back in before the clock counts down or the mission will cancel.

to drive on liberty I used the same walk thru walls code as I normally do to drive me in to the closed off area behind the bistro yard. I then used the flying cars cheat to get me across the gap between the yard and the street. The gap is the area taken up with buildings which aren't solid and have nothin solid beneath them. i tried it without the flying cheat and couldn't make the jump even with a long run-up.

right here we go: attempt 1:

use your ar disc to enable the cheat [unlimited jetpack height]

go into ganton gym

go to the corner (the one to the right - near the tredmil)

and enable the jetpack cheat

leftrightL1L2R1R2updownleftright

or

L1L2R1R2updownleftrightL1L2R1R2updownleftright

DONE

now you can fly to the hidden places.

you can't get into big smokes house R* never have him in his house and personally i do not think theres nothing there, so don't try to do that. Hope it helps smile.gif

EDIT: I don't think you need the ar disc for exploring hidden interiors but you do if you're trying to get to the ghost town although thats another topic. turn.gif

I'm a bit tired at the moment so I may be forgetting something, but...

..Ghost town?

---------------------------

EDIT:

@WTP - that interior you found is a burglary house. i just went inside. It's very similar in layout to the Prickle Pine house. Note it loooks empty untill you go close and all the furniture appears.

When I got there the colours were the same as in the above pic. There was one ped in the house (the blonde in the white dress, bit like Sharon Stone in Basic Instinct) only she was very dark -almost black. She seem in heavy shadow even though her surroundings were well lit. So was CJ.

I went into the kitchen and by pressing Triangle i could pick up the TV. After this point the woman started hitting me, then cowering on the ground. As time went by the houses's colour turned bluer and more of a nighttime theme. The ped also seems to have a more natural lighting to her environment. Whether it was the same and it just fitted better now I can't be sure.

There was a yellow marker at the door so I entered it to leave the building. On the black screen the caption 'Red County' appeared, but when I emerged the caption changed to 'Juniper Hill' as that's where I was in San Fierro.

@this guy... huh?

anyway...

@luke2004... you forgot to mention the key ingredient. KILL ALL PEOPLE IN THE GYM!!!!!!

@og balla (and the rest who still are trying)... mark denise's house with a blip. Go inside the ganton gym and kill all 4 of the guys in there. Walk to the corner where the treadmill is and activate the jetpack cheat. fly up and land on the roof of the gym. put the blip to your north, fly up for about 2 seconds, and then hold forward. For every 2 seconds you go forward, allow yourself half a second to just go up by just pressing X.

If you hear music, you'll know your near it. start looking around to find the yellow marker. it shouldn't be too hard.

@adamcs... nah, i guess we're good with this being the topic it is... we'll just post the map of the interiors reachable with the gym, and leave all others to be searched thru somewhere else...

@carpet... ghost town... i'm guessing what we see when we hit the ground from gym heaven. furthermore... carpet, were you able to enter the burglary house WTP found at any time, or was it only between 23:00-06:00 (I find it odd that the burglaries start at 21:00, but the markers show up at 23:00)

@pyro... We've been basically using what I call the gym map. From the gym, we've mapped where its location is on the map... as long as you start at the gym. And I can't front, I've grown quite accustomed to the gym map... but i also know its flaw, and it can't be used to find ALL interiors... because its too skewed, and places like CJ's house end up being a stab in the dark.

My guess... is we should just figure out all interiors reachable/seeable thru the gym, make a final map, put a pissing bigfoot in the top left corner and call it a day.

As for all the other interiors, although the search continues on this thread, I have a feeling we'll be needing another thread to continue that, unless of course... we just decide to continue it here, which wouldn't be a problem. I would just edit my first post, and put the final Interior Gym-relative map on it.

I found a problem with this method... at least with me. I went to denise's house, I could listen to the music and all, and there was a yellow marker in the dark... I went through it and nothing happened... what the hell? wasn't it supposed to be daylight now?

I couldn't find anything... I was in the dark and the only thing I could find was the gym. I'm confused... help?

When you reach the yellow marker, see if you can float down, if not then you're on solid ground. Unequip the Jetpack and you'll walk into the yellow marker.
