I give up for the Ariz. Cardinals. They suck. They got new uniforms, new logos, new players, but same results. I'm going to look for a new team to root for.... maybe the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Any thoughts on the 49er game. I thought there Defense played an outsanding game coming away with two players clocking out with 3 sacks. Tim Rattay's situation is sort of similar to that of Drew Brees' last season. 1st overall draft pick coming in threatening for the starting job and a successful season came out of it.

The 49ers could finish 8-8 this year and still make the playoffs because that division sucks ass.

How good is that Carnell Williams gonna be for the Buc. 148 yards in his first game, including a 71 yd run. That could end up being the longest in his career, and he did it in his first game. It is incredible for a rookie to get 150 yds in their first season, let alone their first game.

 

Lol, Atlanta fumbled 3 times and Philly never capitalised, but then again, they only recovered two of them, and McNabb fumbled twice and both of them got recovered by the Falcons. David Akers boot could have won Philly the game, he missed 2 of 3 FG attempts.

I truly doubt Eagles would lose tonight (MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL!!!) to the Falcons. That's ridiculous. What's Vick gonna do? He has no go-to guy and all he can do is break a couple runs before he breaks his face. One day he will break his face, I assure you of that.

Falcs didn't play any differently then they did in the playoff game last year. The difference was the lack of Trotter/run stoppage and the fact that the Eagles O was rusty as hell. Not taking anything away from Atlanta though. They'll meet my Eagles in a rematch of NFC championship game this year. That game was sloppy as hell though.

 

Poor niners are gonna get bitch slapped back to reality next week. Their still week but so is the rest of the division. Anyways Eagles at the bottom of the division....good stuff.

I don't really see why Denver ever traded Clinton Portis for Champ Bailey in the first place. Deltha O'Neal and Lenny Walls did a good enough job, and they have an defense that can hold its own. I can understand picking up John Lynch, as he is a kay man for any defense, but to sacrifice a golden child of the future really shouldn't have been on the cards.

 

But that said, this Denver running game can put up big numbers with anyone. Reuben Droughns did that last year, and then Quentin Griffin came out and did it. We also saw Mike Anderson do it in the preseason. -MDG

Well, if anybody will pick him up, it will end up being Niners or Arizona, which both team look weak at the RB postion. Niners have Barlow, but I heard his is agile. And Hambrick & Shipp are both Injured, I think.

Clinton Portis had 5.8 yards a carry last week, against a team that is very good against the run. Therefore, Portis > Almost everyone.

 

In other Redskins news, this quarterback thing is a f*cking mess. Gibbs should have opened the competition and made Brunell the starter in preseason when he outperformed Ramsey. That would have saved the entire region a whole lot of grief.
