I think people will talk trash about Ricky Williams. But once he gets the ball 15-20 times and gains 100+ yrds with a few catches, people will jump on his bandwagon real quick.

Certainly. Smoking marijuana takes nothing away from a mans ability to be an elite sportstar unless it starts to take over your life. He got over it and is back. He will play well this year. Lots of people will ridicule him, but I sense a big season from someone willing to prove he still has what it takes, and to turn around Miami's horror run last season.

 

Nick Saban will play a big part, and a bit of fresh coaching is always good. I think he will try to avoid trying to build the gameplan around Ricky too much at first, just to keep some pressure off him in this comeback season.

 

Ricky doesn't deserve to be trash talked. He walked out on his team last year, but now he is ready to face the music and make it up to them. It takes a lot of courage and heart to face up to the guys that you ruined a season for. Certainly a strong man at heart to do such a thing. It should be interesting to see how his season goes.

i live in california but my dad is a long time bronco fan and got me into them....i think that the colts might make it to the afc championship but i dont think they'll win the superbowl

2. As for Madden ratings, Jason Campbell is 78 overall with 89/84 THPW/THAC, and Carlos Rodgers is 80 overall with 90 speed. I can live with those ratings.

Here is an interesting snippet about Drew Brees.

 

 

SAN DIEGO (July 29, 2005) -- Chargers quarterback Drew Brees disclosed he separated his left shoulder in the fourth game last season and played the rest of the year with the injury.

 

He said he had arthroscopic surgery in the offseason to repair the problem.

 

Despite the injury to his non-throwing shoulder, Brees had his best season, throwing for 27 touchdowns against seven interceptions. He made the Pro Bowl.

I think The Gardner trade is a good deal for the panthers because seriosuly after muhsin left they have no one other then smith!

Hines Ward is one of the best WR in the game. I just don't think he would be one of those guys to holdout. Especially if he has a high chance of winning a SB ring.

Thos chances are tripled because:

1. He breaks records, and is an awesome receiver.

2. Two great QB's, Maddox (if he is still there?), and Roethlisberger, both who can spot him in the open

3. A defense that carries the load when needed to do so.

 

If thos three things can concur with each other, we will have atleast and SB appearance from the Steelers. -MDG

Surprisingly enough, Montana and Marino were above Elway. I always thought Elway was the greatest, and Marino didn't even win anything except records.

He was a big guy who ran in rushing TD's. People say Tom Brady will surpass John Elway... Nope. Elway is one of the greatest QB's to ever play the game. His rings back him up.
