It syas you have to wait until July 23 for it to be set on your rosters... But if Dasutin has a Higher WAiver he can get Eli, lol

Yea, you have to wait until it's approved. I'd rather have Trent Dilfer, he's got Braylon Edwards, Andre Davis, Antonio Bryant, and Dennis Northcutt to throw to, Ruben Droughns to get the tough yards and take the pressure off of him, and Romeo Crennel implementing Patriots-style defense. I have a feeling he's going to put up some nice numbers.

Braylon Edwards = Randy Moss IMO.

Browns were a completely different team last year. Jeff Garcia is a west coast offense quaterback, that's all he can do, and that's all he'll ever do. That's why the Lions picked him up, Mooch is running the WCO, and if Joey doesn't perform, he can plug in Garcia, a proven WCO quaterback.

Last year, the Browns wanted to run a vertical offense, and Garcia just doesn't have the arm strength for that. This year, they've got a new coaching staff, a new offensive scheme, and a new defensive scheme. Trent Dilfer will be Romeo Crennel's Tom Brady... which is incredibly ironic.

Trent did good back in '00, but he hasn't played that well since. He has been a back-up QB for 4 years I believe now.

@DJones: Ronnie will be the starter the first four games of the year for sure (Ricky's suspension). I think he'll do well- and Saban will keep him as the starter.

 

@Everyone: Some Madden player ratings have been released on the IGN site if you're interested. I know I am. Demarcus Ware with 84 speed and 91 accel makes me happy in pants.

They made Bob Sanders an 85 with 93 speed, 63 strength, and 81 tackle. I knew he was good, other Colts' fans knew he was good... but I didn't think EA knew he was good.

When I played online as the Colts I made Bob Sanders my 2nd CB. He was pretty strong and was good for some bump and run. He could catch up to most guys as well.

I think people will talk trash about Ricky Williams. But once he gets the ball 15-20 times and gains 100+ yrds with a few catches, people will jump on his bandwagon real quick.
