Congrats to the Patriots for becoming a dynasty and, winning a 3rd in 4 years. Congrats to Deion Branch for winning the Super Bowl MVP.

It must be awesome to live in Boston this year.

I bet Freddie Mitchell feels damn stupid for running his mouth now.

He said he had something for Rodney Harrison... well, let's compare stats.

Freddie Mitchell: 1 catch

Rodney Harrison: 2 catches. Rodney wins.

Frddie's catch was a TD though. He layed out to catch it. I agree though that Rodney Harrison had a better game. 5 tackles, 2 ints, and 1 sack.

Stats don't mean sh*t. Mitchell may have had only one catch but he had some good plays like the pic that set T.O. up for like 30 yards and some nice blocks for Westbrook. I didn't see Harrison light up Mitchell though like it was rumored?? Personal stats don't mean sh*t, but the Pats won and that makes Harrison the winner.

McNabb was terrible. How could anybody make that many mistakes in such a big game. The eagles could have won this game. Throwing a pick 2 yards from the endzone in the SB is f*cking retarded. He had just thrown 2 before that and the eagles were lucky enough to have them negated.

McNabb should have got the MVPos award. I could count on one hand the number of good throws he made. Almost everything he threw was high or on the turf. And I wonder if he ever heard of a little thing like CLOCK MANAGEMENT.

Very disappointing loss. It wouldn't be as bad if N.E. just came in there and handed us our ass. We shot ourselves in the foot....not once but repeatedly. That performance just made me sick.

I was surprised by how well Deion Branch played. He has 11 receptions and 100+ yards to win the MVP. Tom Brady made no mistakes and thats what kept the Patriots on top throughout the game. McNabb played terrible. He should've came more prepared. Also, Andy Reid made very stupid decisions at the end that sealed the game for the Pats. I would've kicked the ball off instead of going for an on-side kick. McNabb looked dead when he should've been up and excited. Overall I think the rest of the Eagles played a great game. And how about T.O.? Doctors said he couldn't played and he definitely proved them wrong with 9 catches and 122 yeards. He was stiff arming the hell out of those small corners too. It was a good superbowl but not as good as Superbowl XXXVI (Rams and Pats)

I'll admit I was totally wrong about Owens. He impressed the hell out of me last night. I'm still glad the Patriots won though. They're simply the best team in professional sports.

In my opinon, I think the only people with talent on N.E would be Teddy Bruschi and Deion Branch.

I really thought it was very insulting when a few Patriot players ran onto the field and started flapping their arms like the Eagles do. If I was a Philly Eagle, I would've tackled their ass. That was f*cked up and very un-sportsman like.

mcnabb tried to hard i mean he made so GREAT plays the one to westbrook right through two defenders the one to LJ for the TD the one to Greg Lewis and some others but had he not thrown that INT in the redzone we could have at least came away with a FG and now i have to wonder all season "What if?"

If you look at the positives he had and, the negatives he had, the negatives outweigh the positives. You can't throw two INT's 1 in the redzone and, fumble in the redzone.

LOL @ T.O wanting some respect. I saw him on sportscenter saying that if it was Brett Favre who played they would have called him a warrior.

TO deserves it. I've played on a healing broken ankle, and I was out three plays into the game. He's a f*cking wideout. He's constantly stressing it. And to have the game he had, he deserves to be respected and be called a warrior.

And this is coming from a TO HATER.

Yeah i find that stupid i mean Hines Ward did it which was semi ok because T.O. did make fun of Ray lewis so what goes around comes around, but then that LB i forget what his name was did it when he got an INT and i was like uh..ok. then a few weeks later shockey did it then Givens in the super bowl then Vrabel it kind of has gotten out of hand i mean do they get some kind of joy out of doing it?

If I was T.O., I'd be more happy about all this than angry. Think about it, it's just showing that everyone has their eyes on T.O. all the time and guess what... that's what T.O. wants. Everyone is too busy trying to mock T.O. that they aren't coming up with their own unique celebrations or taunts. If I'm T.O., I'm lovin' it.

Rodney Harrison won the game for the Patriots. That early pick kept the Eagles out of the endzone, and that last one sealed the game. And this is coming from a big Colts fan and Rodney Hater.

Well, when Freddie talks sh*t all week about Rodney Harrison, then Rodney Harrison catches more balls from Donovan McNabb than Freddie Mitchell... I consider that "sh*t".

I thought stats are what you looked at in determining what kind of job a player did?

Actually, T.O. did EVERYTHING that could've won them the game... he just didn't get much support from the other players. Without T.O., this would've probably been a blowout.

TO had inflated stats because Donovan just kept searching for him. That would explain Freddie's lone catch, that would explain Donovan's three INT's. TO didn't do anything to win the game. He proved his doctors, and most of the country wrong by just playing in the Superbowl, and suprised us by having such a good game. But without him, the Eagles would be in the same situation. Despite the turnovers, the Eagles defense was able to keep them in the game, until the fourth quater where they just collapsed. TO made no impact what-so-ever. And no, stats don't measure how good a player plays, the Rodney Harrison is just a funny one. Now shut up, obvious Eagle fan, and sore loser.

Actually I am not an Eagles fan so don't assume you know everything. All you've done here is contradict yourself over and over again especially with your stats comments. At first you claim stats make the player and now you're saying they don't... okay. You also said Harrison got the best of Mitchell but actually Mitchell didn't have much of a chance to prove himself anyway because he didn't get to play much with T.O. being back. How many times did you see Harrison lay out Mitchell? Exactly. Also, the stupidest thing you've ever said and you do say a lot of stupid things... is that T.O. had NO impact whatsoever? HA! Are you that f*cking stuipid? Without T.O., this would've most likely been a blowout instead of a 3 point game. T.O. getting over 100 yards on one leg is doing nothing to you? You're obviously just someone who doesn't like T.O. and can't get over the fact that T.O. proved to the world that he is the best receiver in football. Please contradict yourself some more it's funny.

You should take that back. wink.gif Terrell Owens is way better than Branch. Branch basically had his best game ever in the Superbowl. While Owens plays like a superstar every Sunday.

You're defending the Eagles like you're Momma McNabb herself.

I didn't contradict myself, I came right out and told you that the Rodney Harrison stat is a funny stat, and one that shows that Rodney won the battle between him and Mitchell. And there was a shove that Rodney gave Freddie that sent him to the ground, but it was off camera. It was talked about on Monday Night Countdown.

Looks like you just contradicted yourself. Just a sentence earlier you clearly implied that you believe the stats don't make the player, then you say TO comes in and has a big 100-yard game on one leg. First of all, incase you didn't notice, the leg has been pretty fully healed since the AFC Championship game. Hence him jumping and dancing around. How can you say the game would've been a blowout without TO? Do you really know that? Are you phsyic? Because, if you are, I could really use your help. The gym across the street bought the second mortgage on my gym, and now I have to play in a dodgball tournament with a bunch of out-of-shape idiots and an old, senial coach to raise 50 thousand dollars to buy my gym back. Can I do it?

You said it yourself, stats don't mean sh*t. If you look at the stat page, you see Terrell had a mighty fine game, if you watch the tape, he was shut down for the most part. He was covered by just a second-year CB, Asante Samuel, most of the game, and at time a rookie, Randall Gay, but they kept him at bay. He had a couple of big gains, but none of them were gamebreakers, none of them got them in scoring position, none of them helped them win the game. They were just statpadders.

I like how you make the assumption that I'm a TO-hater. You just made yourself a hipocrit. I don't like some of TO's arrogant celebrations, they're an embarrasement to the game, but I do like him as a person. He is a good guy, he gives to a lot of charities, off NFL contract, loves his fans, and even takes time out of his own schedule to talk to his fans on his website, http://www.terrellowens.com. Which I'm a member of, my membername is Cowboy. I'm one of the most respected members, one of the top 10 poster with over 3000, and run a fantasy GM game there. Which you're more than welcome to join, it's in the Fantasy Football section, Cowboy's League.

Keep talking to me like you think you can beat me in a battle of wits... over football, because that's one topic I can win in. It's funny.

Dasutin, what are you talking about? TO had huge gains which got them in the or close to the redzone which IS IN scoring position. They actually were gamebreakers if McNabb didn't throw interceptions the very next plays in the game. Make sense now? The same things happened later in the game, but then McNabb threw an interception again. Any big pass plays (except hail marys before half time or at the end of the game which lead to no scoring) help your team win. He obviously contributed... If you can't see that, then you are a fool.

Actually you only came out and said that little thing about Harrison being a funny stat AFTER I called you out that you were contradicting yourself. Nice try, but sorry you can't erase what you said by chuckling it off. A shove to the ground? rofl, if that's your best argument for Harrison beating Mitchell then that's sad kid. Hey, maybe Mitchell gave Harrison a shove off-camera that had him fall to the ground too sarcasm.gif rofl.

Did you even watch the Super Bowl? By this statement it doesn't look like it. You're basing T.O.'s performance too much on the rest of his team. We're talking about T.O. right now not the entire team. You're saying 30+ yard gains are not gamebreakers? Just because McNabb could'nt finish the job in the redzone doesn't mean T.O.'s great plays weren't gamebreakers. Sorry kid but your argument is weak.

P.S. What's with your little Dodgeball story? Can we get rid of the bullsh*t and stick to football please?

No, dickweed. There's a difference between posting a stat like "TO had a 100-yard game, he should be MVP." and a stat like "Rodney Harrison caught more balls than Freddie Mitchell, now who's got something up their sleve Freddie?" Only an idiot, such as yourself, would not recognize the obvious sarcasm and humor in that statement.

TO had a good game, TO just didn't do anything to win the game. And no, I don't know why you're saying he put them into scoring position, because he did not. The 30-yard gain, or whatever it was, took them to around the 35-yard line. That's a 52-yard field goal, David Akres does have range, but you'd be suprised how much a man's range can decrease in a big game like the Superbowl, I know you remember Superbowl XXV where Scott Norwood just missed the game-winning field goal. Realistically, David would need to be at atleast the 30 to make a fieldgoal. I don't remember what happened that drive, but I do remember it happened in the second half, and in the second half the Eagles could do much offensively, and especially defensively.

Keep arguing, I like to win, and I'll win this one easily.

P.S. The Dodgeball story was to make you look stupid by attempting to predict something that could not, and would not happen.

MVP? When did I ever say that? Are you converting to making up lies and putting words in people's mouths to make points now? It seems so because all you've done is contradict yourself and make yourself stupid so might as well make up sh*t to try and make yourself look even more stupid if that's possible.

How do you know if Akers would've made the field goal or not? Are you psychic? Please stick to your own little rules and stop making a fool of yourself. 30+ yard gains are gamebreakers whether your little head can comprehend that or not it's the truth.

If you can't see that, then you are a fool.

There's another that thinks you're a dumbass besides me.

Sometimes its not about having the most talent, its about having the players that best fit a system of offense or defense. (See Disney Movie "Miracle")
