Anwyays, Tampa can't make the playoffs, so I'm f*cked. It will be good to see how far Atlanta goes, who I am backing in the Playoffs, as they are from Tampa's division. This will be the third time in as many years that a NFC South team has made it if they make it. Tampa made it, and won, 48-21. Carolina made it, and lost, 24-27. This will determine the NFC Souths fate for a winning or losing SB Record. -MDG

Rams just won in Overtime against the Jets!

It was a hell-a-va game.

The Rams were winning 21-10 at Halftime but then the Jets scored 16 straight, and then the Rams scroed a TD and then the Jets tied it with a FG. Then in OT the Rams won it with a dramatic FG!

::..Playoffs..::I pick the Packers Vs. Steelers in the super bowl . I pick Steelers beating the packers, Burger is just to much, If he wins a ring as a rookie I can put him down in Canton in 10-20 years. He will go down as the greatest rookie QB to play in this time. Packers will get there because of the simple fact, they have won two games in a row I believe with last second field goals one against the Vike's with I think the momentume that Vike's lost in that game and Randy Moss leaving the field before the game is over is not right. Randy Moss will never win a Super Bowl with the Vikings , trade moss for 1st round and few other's.

I was watching the Cowboys game and almost threw up. The commentator bitching that "Jones was getting the ball 30 times a game and doesn't have another back to back him up " whatever. Jones can carry the ball 30 times and get 100+ yards and atleast 1 TD. Julius Jones is going to be a great back, Eddie Geroge was a waste. Anyways Dallas needs to focus on the draft now, Go for the Miami Corner back, I forgot his name. There secondary sucks, Roy Williams really can play DL , LB and or CB with his power and speed. Atleast pick a DB, or atleast pick up Aaron Beasly or some good CB going into Free Agency.

I agree. Julius does just fine wiith 30 carries a game. You are right about them needed help in the secondary. I think you are talking about Antrel Rolle. He would be a good addition to the team. I hope they can win at least 9 games next season.

The Cowboys need a QB more than anything. I'm pretty sure Sunday was Vinny's last game. Now all they have is that suck Rookie that I can't remember the name of. Jason White for Dallas.

Cowboys won't draft a QB. Atleast not in early rounds. They can get Matt Hasselbeck in Free Agency, and they might even be able to get Drew Brees, but I think he's restricted, so he's gonna cost a 1st and 3rd round. They need to keep building on the young defense. Passrush is their biggest need, so they should take Eramus James at number 11, and then Darnell Bing with their second 1st round. Move Roy Williams back to Strong Safety, his natural position. He's a great blitzer, and not much of a coverage man. That's why it would be smarter to move him back to SS. Next round, they should get a CB. Antrelle Rolle won't be there, but Cory Webster or Carlos Rogers might. They could even wait until the third round and pick up Dustin Fox. I do expect the Cowboys to pick up a lot of defense. DL and Secondary are their biggest needs.

I guess there are a few Cowboy fans here, which I'm glad to see. I grew up in NY as a Dallas fan (don't know why) but back to the topic- Julius has looked very solid throughout the 8 games we have seen him. He has averaged over 100 yards per game, which could've led to a 1600 yard season had he not injured his shoulder. Their focus should be on Defense in the draft, and would love to get Rolle with the 11th pick. There is a good chance that he doesn't drop this far, and if he doesn't there still are 2 other first round prospects we could look into with the 20th pick. In our ideal draft, we would pick Rolle at cornerback, and in my opinion, draft an outside linebacker or defensive linemen with Buffalo's pick. With our 2nd rounder I would go with a speed WR if availible, or wait til the correct round for the speed guy to go and spend the pick on the D-Line.

 

The Cowboys could use a back to take some of the load off of Julius though. I'm not suggesting that they draft one, but they need a solid backup. Running Backs get banged up constantly, and ideally need rest. Look at Eddie George- he's 30 and finished because of the wear and tear of the position.

My prediction would have to be Philly in the SB..I don't see Green Bay getting past Minnesota this week, It's hard to beat a team three times and Minnesota has all the odds stacked against them and they will come out swinging and will be too much for that depleted GB secondary.

It really depends on when Benson goes. If Miami passes on Benson at number two and goes with a top QB like Rogers, he will most likely fall out of the top five. The Browns would like to land Rogers as well, but are also interested in the impressive OT D'Brickashaw Ferguson. If this is the case, the Titans, Bucs and Cardinals both have gaps to fill at RB, and will all adress the position with early picks. The latest I could see Cadillac going is 8th to the Cardinals, but if they pass on him he could fall to 17. Here's why

I must point out that that Tennessee has 2 great backs. Chris brown was actually in like the top 5 in rushing at one point in the season but got turf toe.. Antowain Smith is an awesome 3rd down back.

 

Other then that I like your point about him going late if the first few pass up on him.
