Very true.

 

Green Bay needs a run-stopping defensive end like Paris Hilton needs two dozen Dunkin' Donuts and a Thickburger. Kabeer Gbaja-Biamila is a great pass rusher, but a liability in the running game and would be a good candidate for an eventual move to OLB.

John Henderson, former Jags defensive tackle is available. If I were the Packers I would strongly pursue him. A good pass rush makes your whole defense better. If you force the QB to make bad moves your secondary benefits. Henderson would be a great sign and Arrington would be a big sign as well. Both would improve the team. But I would really pursue Henderson. They'd be stupid not to

That sounds like a winner. If Favre is gone then he's gone; you can rebuild with Rodgers at QB (unless they sign another veteran) and focus the new cap space on rebuilding the defense first. If that makes Walker leave, then whichever. Good wideouts aren't that hard to come by, and if you don't want to be a Packer then I say GTFO biggrin.gif

I think Walker will stay in GB this year. Then after this year there should be plenty of decent wideouts that GB could accuire.

No I think Walkers outta there. Last year he wanted a new contract this year he wants out. If I was the Packers GM I'd trade him for another fairly good reciever, because thats what Walker is. Then that would set your wide outs, then you need offensive line. Then those Defensive moves which would make them have an awesome run defense.

I heard it on ESPNEWS but I just looked on theredzone.com and it ssaid he wasn't but a few other good D-Lineman are, like Macellus Wiley, Chris Hovan... Ok, so I got some wrong info it seems

No big, it happens some times man. Hovan is still pretty good. He was real good like 2 or 3 years ago and he has kinda faded away. I don't know what happened. He's no Henderson but he'd improve the defense.

LOL, AJ Hawk? If Mario Williams is at them with the 5th pick, they'll pick Williams over Hawk.

Packers would be better suited taking Hawk over Williams. They have Gbaja-Biamila and Aaron Kampman at DE, who are two very good starters. The hole at linebacker, though, is glaring, and they shouldn't pass on a stud like Hawk.

 

Williams won't make it past the Jets, anyway.

I've got like the whole 2002 Browns team autographed onto a football. I almost got Chad Johnson's autograph but he was kinda in a hurry and payed no attention to me. angry.gif

The school sponsored a trip to a Jets practice last year during last spring. I met like every no name on the team cause apparently famous guys don't show up to involuntary practice. It was fun still kicking a couple field goals with Nugent.

@Dasutin: Another possibility is the Pack could draft Williams, then move KG-B to linebacker. He's really a LB playing DE anyway.

AJ Hawk is going to be great and, If I was the Packers I wouldn't pass him up. Both Williams and Hawk are awesome but Hawk is gonig to help the Packers team more than Willams.

@MM - Not my best collector's item... My dad has a figure of Troy Aikman and you can press a button and listen to a guy talk about him... Sounds normal but instead of talkin' about TA, it talks about John Elway... Kind of a real mess up, if I can get a picture(well find it in the garage I'll get a picture) lol
