I think Brian Griese is good. I'd take him over Jake Plummer. Jake Plummer just shows an illusion of being an NFL quarterback. He's only successful cause of the running game.

Don't try an predict the future. Peyton Manning played against soft zone coverages all year long, until the Chargers and Steelers when they all-out blitzed. Not to stop the run, to stop Peyton Manning. It's a gutsy call, because plenty teams will try it and fail, it takes a very quick passrush to get past the Colts' offensive line, and a good secondary to keep the recievers from getting open too quickly. Edge never faced anymore than five defenders, and only averaged 4.2 yards a carry. Defenses obviously play eight men in the box against Denver, because for some reason the run game is dominant every year. Just like a Colts' running back has the easiest job, so does the Denver quaterback.

King Kapone

Ah to me, Peerless is worthless. He had no other choice but to go back to a team he couldn't wait to escape from. Good job Mr. Price.

Yeah, he only dressed out a few game last year and then got cut from the Cowboys. I think he was finished when he went to Atlanta, where he hardly even got any catches.

Price could still probably be a good player. Not as good as the 2 seasons he had in Buffalo but a solid #2 reciever. I think he could fill the void the current Mould will leave behind sooner or later. On NFL.com it mentioned Evans and Moulds in the top reciever tandem in the NFL. To me Moulds is washed up. Yea he caught some balls, got some TD's in the past 2 years but thats nothing compared to what he used to do, and now with JP Losman as his QB, hes in for some trouble.

I think with the right coaching, JP Losman can become a good QB in the NFL. And with a young reciever in Lee Evans, they have a few solid years to get taught. I don't think Moulds is washed up, he's just getting old.

I don't know D, Moulds is only 33. 33 isn't that young but isn't that old for a reciever. Ya know, I think age might start becoming a factor, think it might be defensive schemes? Because I remember only like 3 years ago when Moulds was a top NFL reciever.

33 is not old for a WR. Look at Jerry Rice. If everyone retires when he did then 33 is almost like your prime of your career. lol

33 is only old when you're a running back. That's it. By the time a wideout gets to that age he gets smarter before his skills start to diminish, and that's about the time he becomes able to learn a few tricks to fake out and burn younger, would-be "quicker" DB's.

I like Losman as a QB prospect and the return of Price to Buffalo can help his development. The Bills are a fringe playoff contender at best with or without him, so nobody hurt.

The Bills passing Defense is awesome. If im thinking correctly, I think they were number 1 in that stat last season.

19th. They were 3rd two years ago before the loss of Pat Williams to free agency and Takeo Spikes to injury.

33 Is "at that point" for a WR. Jerry Rice loved the game, and some people have different bodies, pending how you treat it. But yeah, if anything the Texans got a awesome deal with Moulds. David Carr needs a vet. WR to throw to, instead of what he used to throw to, which was Corey Bradford, and that's the most expierence they've had at the WR deal.

Corey Bradford was average as a Packer and just plain mediocre as a Texan.

Moulds is a big step up from Bradford and/or Jabar Gaffney at the wideout spot opposite Johnson. Until the team gets an offensive line, there's nothing much to be excited about though.

Yeah, speaking of the Texans. Anyone hear the rumor that the Texans might pass up on Reggie Bush, Matt Leinart and Vince Young to get Mario Williams? Mario Williams is a good player, but if they pass up on those 3 guys, they should get D'Brickshaw Fergueson.

They'd be insane to pass up Reggie Bush.

Yeah. Reggie has visited other teams and that could cause problems if he doesn't want to go to the Texans.

They better trade down from No. 1 to draft someone like Williams (local NC State hero over here) if they don't take Bush. Which, of course, would be crazy.

Better the Texans than the Saints, I say.

this could be a negotiation tactic to make the texans appear that they really dont need him that bad. bush and his agent could hold the texans for ransom if the texans are wetting themselves over him.

I told my friend who's a total cheeshead that the Packers are the worst team in the nfl without Favre. He started naming other "talented" players. I said Barnett and Kampman are the only ones that come to mind. He said Jevon Walker, Donald Driver, Al Harris, Henderson, Tauscher and Clifton. I said they're all average except Walker. Who's right.

I'm surprised he didn't mention Ahman Green, even though he was injured last year; like the rest of the team... lol

Yeah but you're right Toyz, without a second look <_< >_>

I think the Niners could still be worse.

Without Favre, the Packers are in contention for the worst in the league. It's saddening for me to say that, but it's true.

Jevon Walker is good but needs to demonstrate an ability to stay healthy; Ahman Green and Najeh Davenport (a solid No. 2 RB) need to do the same. Al Harris is a decent CB but the Pack secondary has fallen a long way in recent years. Losing Darren Sharper was a deathblow, and Mike McKenzie had to be an ass so he had to be sent off. William Henderson's been great but he's aging his way out of the NFL. I really like Donald Driver; he's a decent No. 2 wideout and he'd be great in the slot with the presence of two upper-tier wideouts (wishful thinking, I know) but he is stopgap as a primary receiver. He did rise to the occasion when Walker went down. Barnett has developed since his key role in the 4th and 26 meltdown. Clifton is probably what distinguishes the Pack O-line from that of the Texans.

@ the topic of Reggie Bush.

If Reggie Bush doesn't want to go to Houston, I'm sure they won't waste the number one pick and millions of dollars on him. If I was Reggie, I'd want to go to NO or New York. But the odds of that happening is slim. I, personally, would love to see him take up after Curtis Martin.

na, hes not going to pull a "Manning". he is interested in houston, as is young.

If he would pull anything compareable, it'd be a "Elway" type of move. I laughed when I first looked back at that.

LOL If I was Bush I wouldn't want to go to Houston either. If they don't get some better linemen then Bush will not be able to run. If he got to NYJ he'd be great there. He could learn from one of the greats for a year and then put it into action the next year.
