Seriously though I think that T.O and Tuna will have disagreements but, nothing serious. Tuna and Mike shannahan are the only coachs that are disciplined enough to handle T.O. I think T.O will have a big year and Dallas is without a doubt a superbowl contender.

Thanks, Mike Shannahan and Bill Parcells have been through some controversial players, and I think if anyone can coach T.O. it'd be them and a few others that come to my mind. Drew Bledsoe is happy to have T.O. in Dallas, and as long as the QB and WR have good friction, then there's really nothing to worry about. Bledsoe and Johnson had a few bad moments, but it still worked to the best.

Now, after hearing about the new rule about to take place, the "Endzone Celebration" rule, it's so f*cking stupid. So... let's look at all the problems this year in the NFL, shall we?

  • Endzone Celebratiosn taking to long
  • Ref's making horrible calls
  • Ref's not even reviewing when needing to be reviewed

Ok, so out of all the problems, the NFL commitee decides to rit and rant about the celebrations. Celebrations, quiet frankly, don't affect the game, it might affect the speed but in no ways does it affect it. The ref's in the NFL are so f*cking stupid it isn't funny, and if you watched the Superbowl, that'd be a perfect example. Let's look, let's talk sh*t about the celebrations in the superbowl and just forget how the seahawks got ass-raped by the horrible calls by the refs sarcasm.gif

Gale Sayers = Reggie Bush

You honestly think Gale Sayers would've been a HOF'er if he played todays game? No doubt he's a great player, but back then those type of stats were elite, (seeing that he lead the league in rushing), but now those stats are medicore and probably won't get you any where.. The top 5 rushers in the NFL have more than 1231 yards this season (Gale Sayers highest most yards rushed in a season). Reggie Bush can get 1,200+ yards on the ground each season, but isn't that why they have Domanick Davis? David Carr needs more recievers to throw to, because Jabar Gaffany isn't cutting it.

And I liked to point out that the guys who lead the rushing (top 5) all made the playoffs. (exception of Larry Johnson with KC, but the team had a record of 10-6)

Gaffney isn't even on the Texans anymore, who don't you do your research before you say something.

Plus, so what if he gets 16 carries a game if he gets 10 yards on each one. You're acting like Reggie Bush is a little bitch who, when hitting the 17th carry, will lose all his energy. The kid's a beast, I'm sure he will condition. Plus they have Davis to help him around too.

Parcells will be able to handle TO. Bill has been in the league long enough to know how to control him.

How long with T.O. last in Dallas?

I think TO will last for a couple years in Dallas. I think he is ready to get back on track and do well.

There's no point in playing Bush at wide reciever. At running back, you can at least get the ball in his hands before Carr gets sacked for the tenth time that game.

He just needs a better line, that's all. I suppose if Texans can reel in Moulds, they can have a 2-back, 2-reciever threat.

@Rockstar, you do realise he has been there RB/WR since he was a freshman? Mind doing research before saying he never caught a ball prior to his junior season?

Where did I ever say he NEVER caught a ball prior his Junior Year? You might want to do research yourself, not me...

Ok, RB is some-what similar to LT but would you want to move LT to receiver, no...

@DJones - [sarcasm]43 catches in 4 years of college and played 50% WR in games? Wow, that is good[/sarcasm]

Maybe I mis-read it?

Reggie needs to gain 20 more pounds and get stronger, then maybe he can be "some-what" like LT.

Whoever gets Busch should keep him at Running Back. I mean come on he was Running Back in college and that's where he excelled at, why remove him and put him somewhere he may have difficulty playing.

I don't think DB would ever say anything bad about anyone on his team on TV, or anyone else besides t.o...

@other post - I didn't mean physical apperance but rather on the field style, lol

I don't think it matters where you put Bush. He's a playmaker and will help you anywhere you play him. USC wouldn't have had a 40 game win streak or played in those national titles if Bush wasn't that good. Bush and L.T are very similar in the way they play RB. Both have great hands and are fast. Man, a lot of college players switch positons when they enter the NFL draft.

Yeah, exactly Cuban. That's what I mean, the dude is a play-maker but I think he could keep his abilities at WR. I'm sure Texans will find a way to use him as USC did, sorda like a slot RB. Can be behind the QB and motions off.

Rockstar, Bledsoe and Keyshawn were caught yelling at each other on the field during one home game and I don't mean just yelling, they were shoving each other and teammates had to pull them back. And I knew you mean't field abilities with Bush and LT, but LT is strong while Bush is a f*cking cat.

Man I sure hope that Bush dosen't go to the Texans. They have the first pick but they are just horrible and need alot of help. If he could get to NYJ or GB then he could help them out a ton.

Also where is A.J Hawk predicted to go?

Poll time:

Does Peyton Manning have anything else to prove?

1. No, he is a sure Hall of Famer.

2. Yes, he has to win the big game.

Short Peyton Manning bio.

Most attempts for a rookie in a single season, most yards, and most touchdowns.

Tie-most seasons with 4,000 passing yards in a career (6).

Most consecutive seasons with 4,000 passing yards (6).

Most touchdown passes in a single season (49).

Highest QB rating in a single season (121.1).

Two-time league MVP.

27th in pass attemtps for a career (eight seasons played, less than half of Marino).

18th in completions.

20th in yards.

t-13th in touchdowns.

Playoffs:

3-7 record, but a top 10 QB rating all-time (One ahead of golden boy Tom Brady). Proves once again that winning in the playoffs takes an entire team effort.

Look at Marino, I believe he wanted a super bowl ring more than to be in the ring of honor or hall of fame. I think once he wins that super bowl ring, he'll be considered one of the best, not saying he already is. smile.gif

He has some great stats but you play to win and he has never won the big one so right now I think he needs to get a ring. Now that Edge left it could be hard for him to get a ring.

I think not having Edge will cause some problems, but I still think they'll be playoff contenders.

Why is it that only the quaterback position is rated by rings? Take a look at the best running back ever (not in my opinion... but the majority think so), Barry Sanders. Never won a ring, never got close... why? The team wasn't good enough. I think that Peyton's performance in the playoffs shows that it takes a team to win the Superbowl. I don't remember the exact number, but his rating is 89, which is 6th or 7th all-time. He's obviously doing what it takes from a quaterbacks standpoint to win games, it's the team that underperforms... not Peyton Manning.

I think Emmitt is the best, he has 3 rings and was even the MVP in one of the Super Bowl games. No doubt Sanders is up their for the best RB, but I think Emmitt Smith and Walter Payton surpase him for number 1. I'm not worried about Manning, he still has a good 6-7 years left to win a super bowl.

I agree Dasutin. It takes eleven people to win the big one. Not just one single person. I think that's the problem with the Colts. They are a select few awesome players and then everyone else depends on them to help carry them to the big one. But that wont happen.

What the hell are you guys talking about? Peyton wasn't the only "superstar" or the only person trying to win the superbowl, I don't need to list all of their offencive power-players do I?

Edgerian James

Marvin Harrison

Reggie Wayne

Brandon Stoakley

Dallas Clark

(all of their o-line)

The D was better than before. So before you say the Colts was a one man team with Peyton, think again, because Peyton has the weapons and the colts have a decent D, it's all about the coaching.

They have good coaches, the game preparation threw them off and so did the play of the offensive line. Everything on the Colts starts with Payton Manning. If you shut down Payton, you shut down their offense. Their o-line failed to protect Payton against the Steelers.

Stoakley and Clark are far from being offensive powerhouses. Their defense wasn't even that great, it was average. Everyone besides Freeney, Mathis and Sanders was average last season.

Clark had 40+ receptions and 5 TD's, and that's behind Harrison, Wayne and Stoakley. He might not be a "powerhouse", but he's one hell of a player, better than Marcus Pollard. Stokley wasn't as good 'state' wise as he was last year, but he's still a awesome reciever. And considering Manning threw 50 less passes and 20 less TD's could've been that problem for Stokley.

Indy's defense rank 11 in total defense. So we can't say their defense "wasn't so great", because the year before their defense was ranked 29th.

Peyton Manning is the backbone of the Colts offense, but it was their defense that brought them back in that game. Let's face it, their entire offense did good in their playoff game against the Steelers, but Peyton wasn't doing too well. Partially because of all the heat the blitz brought, and partially because the whole first half he was basically throwing the ball away. It looked like he expected his recievers to go one way and they went another. All of the Colts recievers are great, but nothing if Manning can't put the ball in their hands. The defense brought them back when it counted. The defense forced the pivotal fumble, then... as a Colts fan, I don't like to talk about it.

Well now that Edge is gone Harrison and Stokley and Clark will have to carry the load offensive wise. Harrison is kinda getting old so then Stokley and Clark and Wayne will have to step it up to get the colts back to where they were this year.

I'm sure Colts can get another decent back to replace Edge, because I personally don't think Rhodes will cut it.

All of the good free agent 'backs are gone, so I guess they'll have to look in the draft, which will be hard due to their 32nd pick

They can use their first draft pick to pick up a decent runningback. I can't think of much else they need right now.
