its only the second week of the season and you are already sayin that he should be the defensive player of the year? In a few weeks you can start sayin this stuff but not yet. but he is a great football player. Did anyone see his one armed sack tonight? that was freakin amazing!

Well, he's played like a man possesed so far.

28 tackles in two games, and he looks faster than ever... he can only get better.

Yea, Zach Thomas is a beast. He leads the NFL in tackles with 25.

If he continues to keep playing awesome, than he will get defnesive player of the year.

Hopefully next week the offense can do something good for a change .

I don't see the offense getting much better the rest of the season, they just don't have enough tools. And Zach Thomas also won't get 25 tackles every 2 games. I just can't see it happening. The offense and defense both lost so much over the offseason..........

 

Vikings Eagles tonight guys. Gonna be a great game, no matter who wins. Probably right down to the last couple minutes too. I'm saying Vikings 30, Eagles 24.

I actually think the Vikings will outscore the Eagles by atleast 14 points.

It's a classic trademark of each team. Vikings start strong, and break down the second half of the season, Eagles start weak, and finish strong.

Yeah, I'm really pissed right now. That game was horse sh*t. Too much defensive holding called, it was silly. They didn't let the Vikings secondary play the way they are used to playing. These wackass new rules this year take a lot away from the game, imo.

Ha ha I loved that beautiful Culpepper TD that got brought back. You talk about shooting yourself in the foot. See that's the problem with the Vikings....they get to emotional and strung out when things don't go their way. Kearse harrased the hell out of Culpepper....they just never got in any kind of rhythm.

 

Next week Eagles go to Detroit which should be a cake walk despite their surprising record.

I won my first fantasy game this week thanks to the Dolphins' TE and his 60+ yards rec.

Speaking about TE's, Kellen Winslow II is out for at least 2 months with a broken leg. The Browns are thinking about putting him on the IR. Either way he may lose out on $5.3 million in bonuses b/c of the lost time. Guess that long hold out this summer was for nothing. Big boy thought he was so good and tough, now look at him.

Hellz Yea! That would be Mr. McMichael. Definately the most underrated TE in the NFL. He's actually third in recieving out of recievers this year after week two. Him, Chambers, and Brooker are the only offensive threats for the Dolphins.

That whole thing last year was just a flook(SP)... Though the big surprise is that the Lions and Jags are 2-0, wtf happend... Another Carolina team like last year or something...

Jags were/are meant to be one of the surprise packets, I read on NFL.com.

 

@ SBizz: Yeah, a lot of people have just turned away from Miami and their offense after losing Ricky, and wrote them off to an extent. But they still have the attacking players to get the job done.

 

I'm not happy after what has happened to the Bucs this year so far. I think they may have picked up a good player with plenty of potential in Garner, and Simms is coming through, and he should be good in the future, when Johnson goes. They just need to make their mark yet.

 

It all comes down to what they did in the offseason. They got rid of Sapp and Lynch. I don't think they should've ever done that. Pittman was good enough at running back, we didn't need another one. Alstott needs to get used a bit more from FB I think, he is an awesome player.

Better pick L.J. Smith up if nobody else has him.

He's got two TD's so far, one a game... he can be very valuable.

Rogers is out for the Lions for possibly the whole season. Williams is still very young, and Harrington ain't that great. The Lions won't make the playoffs.

 

We all knew the Chiefs would suck, no defense.

 

The Jaguars are legitimate. They have the best run defense in the NFL, and a damn good passing defense. Their offense isn't that bad either, just needs a little more work, and it would be pretty good. I predict 10-6.
