Dasutin 0 Posted April 24, 2004 Sapp's a DT, and I don't think it was that good of a move anyway. Vikings getting Antoine Winfield was a better move, it gives them a pretty good secondary now and improves their defense to at least top 16. About Superbowl team, it's really still too early to tell... but if I had too... Colts, Peyton is deadly. In the NFC it's going to be a toss-up between the Rams and Eagles, but I'll say Rams, and the Colts will win. I may change my mind though... there's still lots of moves that can be made before the season.

Sniper. 0 Posted April 25, 2004 (edited) hey gta3rockstar my pick to win the Super Bowl is the Dallas Cowboys. The reasons are that Parcells led the Cowboys tho the Playoffs his very first year coaching them and it was the first time they went since.. i think 1997 or something like that. They didn't go to the Superbowl, they did make the playoffs... but they won't win the Superbowl this year... watch for next year though. My favorite team by the way. Larcen 227 Posted April 25, 2004 as much as i hate to say it, the pats are walking away with the title...again. most boring team to watch, but theyre super effective. and by getting an above average tailback in dillon, then its superbowl champs, 2005. Dasutin 0 Posted April 26, 2004 my superbowl pick is either the browns or 49ers Are you kidding me? My pick for last place is the 49ers, and the Browns will do no better than a top 10 pick in 2005.
Larcen 227 Posted April 26, 2004 my superbowl pick is either the browns or 49ers Are you kidding me? My pick for last place is the 49ers, and the Browns will do no better than a top 10 pick in 2005. you know, im not holding it out of the question that teh niners could have a winning record. they might. the offense might score a sh*tload of points by using errickson's system with more adaptable players. teh defense could gel together and some lesser known role players could step up. but a championship? not in this lifetime. (although, being a diehard fan like i am, this would be a great time to place a bet in vegas, seeing that their odds are like A LOT to A LITTLE. major payday.) B Rob 1 Posted April 26, 2004 I don't know about the niners They lost T.O to the Eagles and Garcia to the Browns! San Francisco only has Kevan Barlow back Im leaning towards the Browns having a better season than the 49ers. Browns Passing offense should be good
Dasutin 0 Posted April 26, 2004 The Browns still have a terrible defense, a bad running game, and sub-par WRs, although Quincy Morgan and Andre Davis could be stars... right now they're struggling... and Northcutt is trying to take the TO way out of Cleveland. GTA3Rockstar 2,644 Posted April 26, 2004 Updated, just like the Lions they might have gotten the Upper Hand in the Draft doesn't mean they'll go all the way... But if anyone says Arizona hand the gun over to them...
B Rob 1 Posted April 26, 2004 Browns do have a terrible defense!! The Clowns should release Tim Couch or have they already? What do u guys think need added to this topic?
GTA3Rockstar 2,644 Posted April 26, 2004 What do you guys think might happen to Kerry Collins? As Manning might take over.. Yeah guys anything will help out, thanks
Sniper. 0 Posted April 27, 2004 He'll still play and Manning will sit on the bench. Its just like Carson Palmer, he was the fisrt pick in the first round an he didnt play that much. Also in my opinion Manning and Palmer are equaly compared in stats.
Larcen 227 Posted April 27, 2004 naw, collins is gone. why keep him around and take the cap hit when he's not the QB of the future? id look to see a trial by fire for the younger manning, sorta like peyton went through in
GTA3Rockstar 2,644 Posted April 27, 2004 Yeah I say hes gone... What about Tommy Maddox now...
B Rob 1 Posted April 27, 2004 I think Maddox will stay as the starter for a while. Hes not a bad QB. 2 or 3 years ago(I forget) he led his team to the AFC Championship but, they lost to the patriots. Ben will get his shot but, he will not be starting for the Steelers.
Dasutin 0 Posted April 27, 2004 Kerry Collins and Tommy Maddux are both gonna get cut and end their careers as back-ups, very, very good back-ups... just like Kurt Warner. BTW, The Browns got Jeff Garcia to replace Tim Couch, and there is a trade in the works to get Tim to the Packers so he can learn under Brett and become their future starter. GTA3Rockstar 2,644 Posted April 27, 2004 Nah, on ESPN Tommy might stay Starter for a while not sure how long... So do you guys have any suggestions for the topic...
