Ok I Loved The Java Map But Now Its Not Working 4 Me It Keeps Giving Me A Error (Error Reading Point Data) <-2 B Precise Can U Tell Me Whats Up? sad.giframpage_ani.gif

There was a server change made that messed up the applets access to the data file. It's all fixed now, and should hopefully work correctly for everyone. If it doesn't, lemme know, tata...

Happy New Year and all that...

If I am correct, then no... Wheel Arch Angels is in LV only.

Also I'm getting Error reading point data errors, otherwise awesome job, have a cookie.gif and a catloaf_by_anuj.gif and a breadfish_by_Moto.gifrah.gifbbq.gif

And also a lil off-topic, but is there a default numbering of Unique Jumps? Or is it the map/guide creators choice? And if there is one, how can I check which ones i still need? suicidal.gif

RMT, I dunno dude, but I assume not. I went through every entry point myself finding the names for them. With that said, I might've been wrong. I'll check it sometime, or maybe we'll just trust Aeroboy?

Aeroboy, I just checked www.gtasanandreas.net/sam/ and everything worked fine for me. Can you give me more information on your problem? Are you accessing it via that URL? What browser are you using?

As for the numbering, it's all down to the actual game code. The guys in the modding department use tools to rip the item codes from the game, and it's all done in a linear fashion, so the numbers are 'in game' numbers.

As for finding what you're missing, I'm afraid the only way to do that is to go through each item one by one and cross them off a list confused.gif

This has been asked before, and I'm guessing the answer will still be the same, NO! If they allow an offline version, people will rip their content and hardwork and claim it as theirs, therefore no offline version is going to be made. - Luke.

Luke2004 : first: if u read the first word of my post , you would find that i was addressing Azkoyen , NOT you. second: if you would know anything about the web/java/programming you would know that the content IS there , and anyone can see it. The reason i asked Az is because I don't want to go into his work and modify stuff (java classes can be decompiled).

He nushu,

don't try to be the wise guy here.

Since you posted it on the forum, anybody is free to react, as long as it is relevant (which luke2004's reply was). If you wanted an exclusive answer from Az, you should have PM'ed him.

And yes, anything can be ripped, but the barrier is much bigger this way.

Install Java with Firefox completely closed (make sure it's not in the process list as well).

Just an update - SAM works with our network, using CCProxy.

Somebody needs to code this in C or something though. I have dialup at home and would be pretty annoyed to have to be connected all the time to use it.

Awesome little tool though. Nice job!

Right. Im aware how old this topic is but this is really bugging me.

Sam is great and working fine. But I have counted numerous times and there are only 99 tags on the map. Highly frustrating as I now have 99/100 on ma game save and need the last one, which I cant find.

Help!

You're probably just not zooming in enough - there are 100 tags on the map but there are some (one pair in particular) that are very close to one another.

He's right nushu, people can rip it if they really want to, but locking it to a domain name makes it a lot harder. Sorry, but there'll be no offline version.

Can you sent a full copy of sam to [email protected]

Thanks!!!

HA! No.

It's borked...'java.lang.ClassFormatError'...'other stuff'

Hmm. It looks like there's errors with the JRE, and I'm guessing that maybe the jar file didn't download properly. If anyone ever has a problem like this, clear your cache, restart the browser and try loading it again. If it still happens, then there's definitely a problem. Otherwise, I'm inclined to say this is a once off.

I hope you're giving credits to GTANet! I wrote it for this place you know.
