I tried this and it only added about 8 more teritorries. They were on the 1st island too nowhere else. I have 1st edition for ps2. I was kind of mad because it took quite a while. I've got all the story mode missions complete and control all the teritorries too and it only added about 8 more but I guess i'll try again.

its cool to see that this thread is still running...if you guys have a cheat device try thoses:

 

oversized gangs codes made out of popcycle codes (skiller)

 

use thoses codes to make gangs involved in gang-war,larger in #.with thoses, gangs spawn in group of 3and 4 in most new territory made by the glitch...also gang war in regular territory can be harder due to more gang members attaking you..but not always sometime you'll get normal # gangs...also lots of drive-by.usually thoses codes only used the 2 first lines and the rest where unused...its impossible to tell where thoses will spawn...in peds,in car,in gang-war,but there are more gang members for sure.

 

use them to make gang-war easier to trigger in new territory's

Wow, to many pages to look through. Well I'm not sure if it has already been said, but this is a very old glitch. The same thing happens if you fly into one of the corners on the map for a while, I heard you have to do it for real life hours. I've also heard you can take a plane and fly at the sun for 10 game time hours and it will do the same thing. I am not sure if these are true but If you fly long enough into the ocean this will happen. I never had the patience to try it.

I flew for 2 half hour blocks, and ended up with 108 territories (including originals).

So far i've taken down 2 in San Fierro.

...I've gone for all the territories many times..averaging 10 hours to collect all of them..flying into the northeast corner on ps2..and I've found you can fly in shifts..ie..five hours..crash..fly another five hours..and collect all extra territories..

Hey im really p***ed off ive tryed to unlock this glitch about 10 times now ive used a shamal flying SE for 30 mins a hydra NE for 22 mins and an at-400 for 22 mins SW i really want to unlock this cool glitch and i need your guys help pleeease i dont have mutch turf only idlewood ganton glen park east beach and willowfield n ive completed the story missions with no cheats

 

Can someone who has unlocked this glitch plz tell me there gang stats before they did it day flight hours time they traveled what vehicle they used and what direction they went i can always bake cookies o yea and i have the platinum ps2 version of san andreas will it still work someone plz save me!!!!!11

O.K...here's my story..I've done this at least a dozen times..I started with the origional 54 territories..all Grove..fly a shamal..just head into the north-east corner of the map..get the plane high enough and just set the controller down(autopilot)..territories should start spawning on the STATS..you wont see them on your in-game map untill you crash the plane and spawn back at the hospital..you may need to fly longer than a half an hour to see the first ones show up..but mine started within maybe 15 minutes on the PS2

okay thanks man a lot so if i take over every ls turf then get a hydra fly to the highest limit and fly for say 45 mins out in the NE direction in a straight line it would work???

I've never used a Hydra..don't know if they can autopilot..but if you fly out over the water and keep going you should see your territory stats change..by the way..I just started a new flight today and my first additional territory was added in 3 minutes..real time..NOT game time

i cant take over the unity station and that small stretch above it, i've killed 3 ballas at the territory, n i know that i may be in the territory n kill guys who arent on, but i checked, trust me i was well within the zone and i got nada.....too lazy to check all 67 pages of someone possibly askin this question as well, sorry, help would be appreciated

What teritory do you want to take over?.......the one above unity station in idlewood the one just down from that club? theres no turf on unity station or in el corona but if u only get the turf in idlewood near above the statoin and get the willowfield turf right next to el corona the big 1 keep gettin the big 1 attacked defeat the attackers and gradually el corona will begin to turn light green eventually gettin darker the more times it is attacked u can find ur homies there......just thought i would say hope it helps!!!!

heres's a tip..some territories on my PS2 cannot be taken..I've noticed this happens in San Fierro where some of the other gangs in the game appear..ie..chinese or viet..and in Los Santos where the Aztecas hang out

you know what?Something just occured to me..when Rockstar removed the "hot coffee" and fixed some of the "glitches" in the later versions of the game..did they by any chance remove the "territory glitch" too? someone let us know please

i've got territories at the station, like where the mp5 is, and a small strip of it attached to that one, going north....maybe the discoloring messed up? i mean i've done it like 10x n nothing war's coming up

is that Unity Station in Los Santos? If it is that is one of what I call "untakeable territories"..I believe there are 16 in all..they may show up green while you are collecting extra territories..but you are unable to defend them or cause gang wars and eventually will show up in your stats as Vagos territory..though you won't have Vagos gangs there..just the other guys (Aztecas?)

the territory's you guys are talking about are in fact easy to get if you use the "bitching method"...go to a nearby territory,punch a few ballas or vagos(it does not matter witch one)...now they are mad and they will follow you to beat you up, go to the territory you want and kill them..a war is triggered.you can also get a tow truck and tow a rival gang car(full of gang members)to the territory and again kill them....thoses are the best ways to get territory's with no gang members spawing in them,hope it helps.
