Just as a somewhat related question, after you get all of the territories, do you stop getting the "our hood is under attack" messages?

no more "our hood is under attack" no mre ballas no more vargos!!!!

Its obvious that the glitch only works on version one and then fixed it whilst making the second version, that sucks!

tell me about it dude i had to learn the hard way:

i bought the greatist hits, i found out about the glitch,

trying numrious times for hours upon hours

 

and i can't do it just becuze i bought the greatest hits

I think i have V.1 cause this happens to me a lot. Whenever i finish the storyline new territories appear in different places, it was ok with me until i tried getting them all.. i never found gang members and it annoyed me.. you could see the gang cars like the glendale and others.. but barely saw gang members. and if they spawned they just spawned 2 gang members so i didnt get all the territories.

Ive never did it but the people it happened to it was 2004 which means they had version one you get what i mean?

Yesterday I was fooling around San Andreas and tried to do that. And once I was a lil lazy to search all pages (and my f*cking dial-up connection doesn't let me see all pages ) I decided to post what happened and make a question.

 

I took a Shamal and headed southeast for about 30 real-life minutes (1.25 GTA day) until CJ died hungry. He was sent to the hospital near to the east hi-way. I checked the map and just 1 territory was added: it was an yellow one, and appeared around west Las Venturas Burger Shot (northa Stadium). I just had to kill one wave of gang members to make the territory mine.

 

Is there a way to make more territories appear? The status of the savegame can influence how many territories will appear (story line and sub-missions were 100% completed, and 100% of the territories were GSF before I did that... and it's PC version)?

Hey I just noticed something, after flying out more than 4 hours on the boat there's a point where you are not allowed to use the radio and it won't work when you press the up and down buttons lol.

6 Hours?! I thought what influenced the number of gang areas that appeared was the distance you get, not the time you take...

 

I think I'll give that gang area mod a try...

If u want more territories to take over then just get a plane and fly south west for about 30 minutes and most of the map will be controled by gangs. In mine all of SF and LV r controled by the ballas and most of the country side by the vagos.

if u have the map full of colour but cant find any ballas in say an area in SF if u use the gangs control the streets cheat so there r ballas everywere then kill them will it start a gang war?

Well, I've looked all over the INternet for info on this trick and here I go to try to solve any doubts:

 

1. Fly, Drive or sail to ANY corner of the map for about 4-6 hours. (after doing this make sure you eat and get really fat, go with full health and/or know the health cheat)

2. When you get bored, or reached the hour limit just drown, fall, kill yourself or whatever.

3. Youll find your map covered with randowm territories all over the faucking place!!!

4. To take this territories just do a gang war and kill one wave of 4 guys with bats and pistols. easy... However, in some places youll need to kick ppl out of cars and kill them. Or, have gang guys follow you until the desired territory. you can ONLY start a gang war with ballas or vagos and STOP trying to gang war triads or da nang or whatever

5. It is also a fact that rare cars now appear more often, crack dealers are all over the place and other miscellanous glitchs

6. And, what i Like the most is that after youve conquered the 150 something territories, youll start making TONS of cash at CJ's house in Grove street!!!

 

AND BY THE WAY!!!! IT IS KNOWN BY FACT THAT THE GLITCH WONT WORK IN THE GREATEST HITS EDITION OF THIS GAME...

Try going to EBGames or GameStop they should sale used ones, its the only place you would probally find one.

its a very old glitch the complete faq for properly doing it can be found on www.gamefaqs.com and www.gamespot.com

This is a very easy glitch, just grab a vortex or any vehicle and go into the sea in any direction 15 minutes, after this just drown under your boat, when you are spawned in the hospital check your map, you will have territories around all san andreas, enjoy it!
