Territory Glitch

@Vido Corleone: Sorry, but the Bayside Marina turf is always there, it was not unlocked through any strange tricks that you've attempted.

 

I don't think that this has anything to do with the passage of time in the game. Plenty of people have been playing for hours and hours and nothing happens. I'm not sure what is going on, butI don't think it has to do with the passage of time.

 

I'll be trying this out, too, and I'll share what happens to me also. I'll snap some pics of the effects as well.

it will work if you have 100% of current territories, I went out for 20-30min and when i drowned myself i got 2 territories for each gang(6 more total)

Anyways I see 1 Ballas territory and 1 Vagos territory and I dont see them on the map (in the stats it says so). Do I die to get them to appear?

all i know is 3 hours lots of territoirys

i just started a gang fight in LV with the ballas, and guess what! THE WHOLE LOS VENTURAS AREA BECAME A FIGHT ZONE!!

 

im freaking out right now.

Ozzy what did you use to hold it down? I gave up for driving 30 minutes and got a Balla territory at the Foster Valley mall and a Vagos at the SF airport.

i put the corner of my vcr on it and proped the other sides up with a book so0 it would stay down

arg this isnt working all the time :S

 

#1: Hydra: 20-30min SE, 2 more territories for each of the 3 gangs.

#2: Jetmax: 1hr SE, no territories -_-

#3: Hydra: 30min SE, Vagos took control of bayside marina that I had previously -_-

Man... I was thinking you were blowing smoke up our asses... but this... it's freaky. I just new got some new turf, and I'm simply amazed. I also seemed to notice that these new territories DO count in the gang stats, and I no longer have 100% taken over after doing this... and at the whole Venturas area.

It worked for me also. I have 100% of territories then after 10 min. southeast I commited suicide and now have another Balla territory. Weird.

JUst ried to take it over and it was extremely easy.

how aggrivating, 1 of 3 attempts resulted in territory addition. When you guys do it, do you fly directly south of the LS beach? or into the corner?

I tested it out too. I got two non-ballas/vagos/ogf turfs to spawn - one in Foster Valley (very small plot between missionary hill and the 69ers stadium) which is red and I think corresponds to italian mafia, since they also own the area out front of the camel's toe. The second was a gray area around the ammunation in ocean flats. For some reason, I can't get territories to spawn anywhere besides SF, but I guess part of that is that LV counts as one BIG territory. First I took over the three ballas areas that had appeared, again one wave of four guys each, the strongest guy had a tec9. After that I checked my stats, and all it says is OGF = 69 territories, Vagos = 4, Ballas = 0. For whatever reason, those odd-colored territories don't count as anyone's territory. I went there and tried to take them over, who should have appeared? Ballas. I whacked em, and owned the turf. Not sure if I can find any consistency yet, but I'll try again later tonight for ~2 hours and see what happens.

I got some with the Hydra, was flying for about 20 minutes maybe and got about 6 new territories in SF and in the boating school across the bridge near hte desert area on the LV island. Right now im trying it in a boat just have something holding it down and I will commit suicide sooner or later. Just wondering how the hell did you stumble upon this. Just happen to fly this way and didn't want to swim back?

Yah, I'll also chime in that I got it to work, altough I only got one new territory.

well when i was in LV i killed 6 ballas under 10 mins to start the gang war

man this is cool. the only prob is that they half took over one of my old ones at jizzy and no matter how many ballas i kill there, no war will start. and i have a very small vagos one and the vagos are hardly there. - SA

that sucks man, but when your not looking for them, they will show up.

I just traveled via plane about 20 min. southwest and now the entire bottom half of the map is purple and the entire Las Venturas section is yellow.

odd. mbay different things make the territorys show up a little different? cus all of LV for me was ballas

i can't friggin get this to work on mine... ive been flying se of ls and finally killed my self.. spawned at the hospital in ls and no new territories...

 

 

whats everyones playing time? days passed in game? there has to be a specific thing to trigger this...

In a plane travel southeast in the bottom left corner of the whole map for 20 min. then drown yourself. (I'm saving this on a separate file).
