Territory Glitch

i have all the territory in ls and two small ones in sf and lv, the vagos one in lv by the boat school and the one small green one at my gf's house i cant remember her name but she wears a red top and gray pants and does yoga. so how in the hell did you get more territory to take over? maybe it has something to do with the percent of the game you have beaten.

I know what the problem is. If you go to Woozie's casino "The Red Dragons" in LV and you have gone into debt for the casino there will be a "contract" on you. After you do this you will see red territory to take over, these are the areas where the "Mafia" or "Yakuza" are looking for you. I have had this happen to me many of times but if you pay the lot of the money back you will see the red territory's gone.

For a real quick explaination for those that aren't that far in the game: No other city normall has gang warfare (with the notable exception of the turf north of SF). The turf that showed up in Agent Ozzy's game is not normal; you don't get it after some point in the game or after 100%. It's some sort of bug or code or... something.

 

@Agent Ozzy: There are devices that can take Memory Card saves and put them on the PC (and vice versa). Although, if you haven't heard of them, you obviously don't have one No biggie. I just thought that if you did you could upload the save and people could experiment with it.

 

Lastly, the red turf is out in the country-side, that would be a weird place for the Triads to spawn. Agent Ozzy, have you tried to take any of those turfs yet? And if not, could you attempt one? I'm extremely curious to know what guys have turf in such random locations.

I know that it is a weird place for them to spawn but it's just it has happened to me before that red colour territory has come up on the map but i do agree that it hasen't come up on mine out in the country. I was onli puting mi input on what it thort had happened from personal experiance. Sorry if i'm wrong.

yea, off hand i have had 3-5 hours of sleep a night since i got san andreas. school, SA, work,sa, g/f, sa, sleep, lol

 

and its not cus im in debit cus i had over i mill when it happened

and yea, the yakuza attacked me in SF, they keep trying to shoot me, i kill them and more come around the corner but its not a gang fight. OGF spawn around the garage in SF

thats weird i think you do have a bug or u found a glitch in the game which is a bitch but it sounds like fun i wana try but i cant get it to happen

the hippie shop is a courrier mission in sf ... theres also one in lv for burger shot...

 

just look for a freeway parked in front of a hippie shop...

Maybe it has something to do with going too far out into a certain part of the map? Somehow glitching the territories? How exactly did you die when you took the boat out?

 

This could be a very good thing if we think this whole thing through scientificly. That means we need every detail leading up to right before this change orrucred. Then we can test a variety of those conditions to assertain a way to trigger this bug.

 

First and foremost. Did you have all the normal territories in Los Santos/San Fierro/Bayside Marina before this occured?

This is definetly the most interesting find that I think will ever be found in San Andreas.

i wish the guide was a little more help in these areas.. (by these i mean gangs and dating)

My only guess right now is that it has something to do with being rushed back to land from so far out in the Ocean.

 

What hospital did it put you at?

 

 

EDIT: Holy sh*t, I think I'm right about being so far out in the ocean then coming back. I just went out to the limit of the South East in the Learjet and spawned in the Los Santos hospital, now I have a new Vago territory in the Bayside Marina, next to where the origonal one is. Perhaps the distance out to sea you are affects this bug.

 

Everyone go as far out to sea as you can and then die somehow. (I was shot down because I stuck 6 stars on me so I'd die quicker). I think we're formulating an answer. We just need some more testing.

 

EDIT: Hmm, it was pretty easy. Bats and pistols. Only one territory. But this starting to confirm my theory. And my Grove Street guys are sticking around this new spot.

I still havent finished all the missions i still have to complete riot......but i only have the three original gangs on my map(LSV, GSF, Balllas,) and they are all confined in Los Santos?

I just flew a shamal out to the sw corner of the map, going for a good 20 minutes. I then crashed it into the sea, jumped out, and drowned myself. I woke up in Angel Pine, but nothing changed (I don't know if this might affect it, but I wiped out all the Vagos already, and there's only one Ballas territory left to take over in mine). It's late, so I'll try again tomorrow with a boat and look for different results.

Acctually, yes and no.

 

 

 

There are automaticiy Ballas and Vagos territories on either side of the Gant Bridge. But they're very weak, barley even appear, and are defended by one wave of attackers.

 

 

 

The new territory I have is now controlled by Grove Street, and my gang members hang around the Bayside Marina. I got it by flying to the South East corner of the map, as oppsed to the South-West that Agent Ozzy drove in a boat in. The South West Corner had no effect for me. When I get home from school I'm gonna set a boat in that direction, hold down X and watch a tv show.

 

I'm coming very close to solving this.

Ok, true. But I kinda figured the question meant that do any new gangs show up on the radar at any point, which is a firm no.

 

There is one turf north of SF though, silly me to forget.

that new territory, was it the one that covered about all of bayside?

and i died cus i starved to death, took me about 3 hours of non stop boating

and check carfully cus gabg colors are light in areas. try swiching the maps gang colors off then on to see a differance

I was reborn in Jefferson and checked my map and there are now three new territories, (two red and one yellow) all in SF !!

yep ... I flew directly down to the south-eastern most point of the map and way out to sea, before jumping out the plane into the sea and drowning myself.

man i wish someone figures this out. atm the wierd ones i have are the whole bayside and jizzys place. i cant wait to get more. i hope this works. btw i own all of the territories so it might not work. - SA

Another confirmation on the south east glitch (?). I flew a shamal out to the southeast corner of the map for 20 minutes exactly (don't know if you need less time for it to take effect, but the minimum looks like 20 minutes right now), and now I have 6 more Ballas and 6 more Vagos territories to take over (where as before, I wiped out all the vagos and only has one more ballas territory to take over).

Yes, I was right. woohoo. Now all we need is to find out how to trigger the glitch so severly that it does that it did to Agent Ozzy.

ok, i notced a patteren. evrey 10 mins you travle out means 3 more territorys. and i boate the south west. maby it doesnt matter where then.

Maybe the game thinks you left the country for a long time and when you return things are diifernt in San Andreas sweet deal!!!!!
