Now if anyone is laughing at that number .. I HAVE MYSELF.

and MYSELF = 12,500 more of em cuz I take people out quick.

 

2nd Biggest Gang:

Los Santos Vagos

3rd Biggest Gang:

Ballas

Hahaha, oh this is great. I just did it. I always wondered if something like this would get triggered, but I've always ended up doing something else and forgetting to try. Well I did, thanks to you guys. Here's the results.

 

Got a Nevada, followed the northern Las Venturas coast until I hit the corner, then flew North East. The plane ended up freaking out (the propellers moved VERY VERY slowly, but the clouds kept flying by).

 

My muscle was maxed, and I ate 11 or 12 $12 meals at the burger shot to buy more time (fat was about 65% full).

 

I started at 2:20, I became wasted at 5:30. The results:

 

Grove started with 21

Vagos started with 20

Ballas started with 13

 

Ballas now have 33

Vagos now have 50

Grove now has 59

 

Pretty much everything but Venturas is covered. Vagos took over all but a few spots in Fierro, including the southern country under it. I do see one or two red spots, but by a very large margin Vagos has more 'mass'. (They all might be huge territories, compared to a lot of little ones, etc.)

 

Also I noticed that I have more girlfriends. That I never even met (though I know existed) so I'm guessing the long time spent losing weight and muscle made the girls like me (as my musle was too high in the past).

 

It's the gift that keeps on giving!

First off, bobo... I've read the ENTIRE thread tonight, while my Shamal was flying NE from LV... So you won't have to tell me to read the thread.

 

After just over four hours of flying NE, I have 163 total territories: 98 GSF, 50 Vagos and 15 Ballas. Annoyingly though, LV is completely devoid of any gang colors on the map. Pretty much the entire rest of the map is covered though, but only by the usual three colors - purple, green and yellow.

 

Kind of bothered me since I figured 4 hours should be more than enough to experience all the good things I've been reading about in this thread -- like more than the 3 colors and LV containing gangs too.

 

Before flying for four hours in the NE direction, I flew for 30 minutes in the SW direction. I think next I'm going to go SE for a few hours and see what happens.

I have now confirmed that you dont need to die, I have been flyinmg for about 15 minutes in a shamal in the SE corner and i see territories that have started appearing in the countryside and in the marina..

I have currently taped my x button down and i know that the plane dips up and down if it goes too high, will it crash land if i just leave it there, not helping it climb back to the sky?

yea the shamal levels it sellf out so just tape the button down and walk away!

The Shamal and the AT400 level themselves out. I'm not sure if anything else does or not.

 

Also, don't expect to necessarily get results that are exactly the same as anyone else. We've had many people do this and report back and none of the exact results (total territories, what territories are what color, etc) seem to follow much of a pattern.

 

 

@420Bandit, thanks for reading the thread. You have no idea how much I appreciate not having to answer the same questions over again.

AND, other posters should learn from Bandit. Start your plane off flying (a plane that levels itself) then come over here and read through this thread while your plane is flying for you.

but I was wondering if I could perform this glitch when I already have 100% of the territories and the other gangs are wiped out ? I've finished the game and would love to have the whole damn map taken over by other gangs so I could have something else to do without starting over

For the answer to that question you typically only have to go back a page or two where the last person asked it. Yes it will work even if you have 100% territory and the other gangs are wiped out. I guess the younger brothers of the gang members you wiped out come back for revenge and attack your territories or just take new land that isn't occupied.

 

In the last page both JamesFairhurst and bobo_the_ape confirm it's possible to do even if you have 100% of the territories (no enemy gangs with territories)

Hmmm, doesn't seem like you have in the last 25 pages....

I know it makes you feel all macho to hijack Aozzy's thread and tell people to 'READ THE THREAD', but it getting old man. Half the thread is people telling others what they got. Why not worry about the questions at hand, rather than defending your ape honor?

I liked you 'fact sheet' that you posted a few pages ago, addressing all the major issues to do with this glitch. Why don't you refer people to that post instead of telling them to read 10 pages of questions and 15 pages of people reporting what happened to them when trying this glitch?

 

Here, I'll do one too!

Things known about this glitch:

 

-Must fly/boat out till you reach corner (it seems that any corner will do) of map (15 to 20 min real time)

-The longer you stay out, the more territories you get

-Shemal and AT400 auto level out and thus are the best choice

-The max number of terrirories gotten thru this glitch stands at 178

-You don't have to die to get it to work

-You don't have to have completed the final missions where gang wars come back to get it to work

-It still works if you have gotten 100% of the territories

 

 

Tips to get it to work:

-Use the Shemal

-Fatten up if you plan to stay out for more than an hour (remember: 11 meals per 6 hours or you will barf)

-It only takes 20 min or so to get to the edge and back, so flying back won't take you 2 hours if you have been out for 2 hours

 

 

On Capturing new Territories:

 

-Ignore Triads (blue Vagos), they show up all over the map but killing them won't get a war

-Kill only Vagos and Ballas to start wars

-New territores gotten thru this glitch only have one, easy to kill wave

-Yank gang members out of cars in no ped areas to start wars

 

 

And most importantly of all READ THE THREAD

 

No, just kidding. Everything you need to know is in this post, as far as I know.

Maybe we could use this, or another post as a template and keep updating it and posting it when new things are found out.

yes this guy was in crack dealer mode. he had his arms folded like a crack dealer, he asked if i wanted crack and when i aimed my gun at him he tryed to shoot me so i killed him. and he droped $2000

I accidently saved over my file with a new game i was starting. lucky for me tho my backup file was still there....it was the save right before i found this glitch. and i had 93 territorys too

If you do leave your BOAT GOing (with it taped) wont it eventually GO BACK to the land?.

I just keep MY fingers on it (HYDRA) is plenty faster then anyboat...

Especially when ya hold foward. ha.

if anybody has experienced this than please reply:

 

i flew out on the SE corner for about 1.5 hours and died then wen i got back a rather large las venturas vagos territory appeared, the shade of yellow lighter than normal. Furthermore, after taking a trip through venturas, I spotted no Vagos.... Could somebody please explain ths to me?

 

EDIT: I also have ballas territory at my airstrip, no sign of any ballas.... Could somebody help?

Also Dont go there in the day time........

GO at night.

Remember What cars the BALLAS drove?

they drove Majestics.

So they will be driving the same cars as well.

and BE CHILLIN in a group of 4 somewere on the airstrip.

BUT HAVE EARS.

If yoU HAVE EARS (some of the things ONLY BALLAS say)

TURN QUICLY (if you tryna spot em) and SHOOT em IMMEDIALTY.

then just them 3 shot should start a gang war.

but be patient.

I had some LIGHT "T's" as well ........... And I was patient.....

needless to say Im getting more as we speak.

Try to understand this one: (my englisch is not the best...)

 

Fly far out over the sea...about 2 min....then jump out of the plane into the water.

When you look on the bottom of the sea, you'll see, it's not very sharp...now try to dive forwards, but as you will look on the ground, you will see that you dont move as fast as usually. but you move a little. now, as you remember from your earlier journeys out to the horizont, you know, that, when you were flying, you were moving pretty fast, but when you're diving and SEEING the bottom of the sea, you dont move fast at all...

 

Now, what I'm actually trying to say is, that at the edge of the map, the game just "imitates" moving (or flying).

 

Now the Glitch comes into play:

So when you are "flying" at the edge of the map, you're "pulling the map" behind you (propably that's why you dive so slowly ). And with "pulling the map" behind you, i mean pulling the territory map behind you, which means, that you're "pulling around" territories on the map, depending on, which direction you fly to (ex: vagos are east los santos>when you fly east, you pull the territories (actually copying them because the territories in LS are steady) into the sea. but a territory cant appear there, because its in the water . so it appears on the west of the map, which means like "Palisades" in SF)

 

And the distance you move the territories is depending on how long you fly.

 

WAS THAT CLEAR??? DID ANYBODY UNDERSTAND???

 

So try to dive at the edge of the map to the east for 30 minutes and you will see: you will have "new" territories...

can anybody try it with diving and post his results...

it has to be something rockstar added for fun because even when u take over all the territory in los santos u still dont have 100%. i had to take ove a territory in san fierro i saw vagos patrolling so i capped em' and took it over and got 100%. it aalso talks about vagos and ballas try to spread in one of the mission strands.

i had 176 territorys, then i went out again for about 2 and a half hours, when i came back i had 171 territorys..... but......i did have a few territorys on my map that had turned grey....there was about 3 in los santos and a few in san fiero...., i also noticed that these territorys kept getting attacked, and changing colours...

You know, if we oorganized, we could find out a lot of wierd sh*t in SA.

 

I was thinking of taking a map of SA and putting gridlines on it and then having everyone sign up to take a square and search it to see if they find anything cool. Something like this would work great for finding underwater stuff. With the addition of swiming, it is hard to believe that there are NO underwater eggs or tunnels.

 

As for the pulling theory, I don't buy it. I think having territories all over the map was the intended idea by , but someone f*cked up a few lines of code somewhere along the way.

 

I think the lighter color areas are ones that will turn darker and thus captureable with more time out at sea.

 

I can't really play SA anymore cause my controler is messed up big time It randomy presses buttons every now and then, including , and you know what that means for flying a Shemal out for an hour . Oh well.

 

I also want to give a big slap in the face for having tags, oysters, photo-ops AND horseshoes. Getting them all done is no fun. Collecting hidden packages in VC was no fun. Why not have fun things to do, like rampages? What the hell happened to rampages??? GTA:london had loads, as did GTA3. VC had a few good ones but SA is a bit let down in that respect. With all the crap wrong with this game so far, I am wondering what the hell is wrong with Rockstar. Who tested this game? A monkey?

 

GTA 6, if there is one, better be really f*cking good to make up for all the dissapointing sh*t in SA. GTA is suposed to be a jack-of-all-trades type of game. A flight sim/ cars/ murder/ Twisted Metalish/ MGS/ etc. But too little time was spent on each aspect. You can't get lost in any of the new GTA games! Just run in one direction for a while and you will hit water! Why so much water? Was it too hard to program in an unlimited forest?

Go here, this is all we know

where and wath is a Shemal or whatever

Shemal's are planes and can be found in Airports. If you have not finished all the story missions, do so now, there is little point in doing this glitch and it is easy to do once you have everything unlocked.

 

To get to the Los Santos Shemal, park a car by the brick wall around the airport and jump over. The Shemal is at the end of the runway, it is a Leerjet.

And yes, it looks like a Leerjet. There is one in Los Santos, toward the west end of the runway, on the North side.

 

There are two (or maybe three, can't remember) in the San Fierro airport.

 

There are two in the Las Venturas Airport (parkside by side, due west of the entry gate, across the runway).

 

The AT400 is also found in Las Venturas. It is in the Hangar at the southend of the runway, on the east side. It does not always spawn in there, but usually, if you open the hangar, run west to the building with the cars parked in front of it, jack a car, drive it back, park it to the side, then reopen the hangar, the AT400 will spawn. It's a huge airplane and it's kind of tricky to get out of the hangar.

Could you provide some details? What exactly did you try? Also, how far along in the game are you?
