For #35, if you even land on the little pier, you'll get credit. Both times I've done it I had to swim around. The run is very long but you have to weave and dodge so much that you lose a moderate amount of your speed, and even than half the time I ended up playing rhino with a semi.

yep pulled 35 easy, with the Nrg500 and with a bullet with nitro. the nacnac is mine.

If there is ever a jump you just can't seem to clear, here is what I do. I load the game and turn on the no-traffic cheat XdownupR2downtriangleL1triangleleft and go and hit the jump a few times, it is always super easy to clear with no traffic. Then once I have the speed dialed I reload the game without saving and am usually able to clear it first try with the traffic back on.

thats you doing the nac nac eh? nice work.

good idea about no traffice. 35 is such an arse, cos there are no save points nearby with a garage, so it's a bit of a drive just to get there. have got the unique, but still a few feet from landing on the airport.

also depends on the angle you hit it. if you notice when you come in for a landing the tarmac is on a triangle pointing towards the way you come from, so if you hit it ideally you can land right on the tip of the runway, but if you go sideways a bit you will land in water. i sometimes go into the map and place the red dot where i want to land so i know what angle to hit it at.

the red dot is a good idea.

is that a nothing on the far left? what do you ride? i got an azonic ds 1 with z1's. nice little jump machine.

Jump #61 at the Camel's Toe was very tough for me. I was riding the NRG-500 and I just couldn't get the distance to land on top of the building across the road.  I ending up stealing a Turismo and having nitro added at the mod shop in LV.  The car cleared the distance easily.

Hey there, Gods of GTA.

I'm new to the forum, and I'd really appreciate your help. First off, great thread, thanks to jkk for opening it, thanks to everyone who's posted.

My problem is this: I just can't seem to get Jump #61 to register, and I'm very much afraid my game might be glitched.

I've tried everything. NRG, pretty much every other bike, leaning forward, not leaning forward, Nitro cars, jumping short, jumping long. I've managed to land on the roof of the building several times, but the jump won't register. Neither will it register if I land in the parking lot (as the gamefaqs guide suggests) or crash against the building.

Sadly, I am also absolutely sure that the game hasn't registered the jump yet...

So, has anybody else experienced this glitch, or is there anything I can do about it? I realize that the answer to both questions is probably "No"... In that case, please at least commiserate...

Heh. Flattery will get you everywhere.smile.gif Seriously, you're welcome. Without a great deal of input from our little San Andreas Air Force, this thread wouldn't have gathered a fifth of the accumulated mass of expertise.

Now, for #61. You've tried all the obvious solutions, and you're positive you have the right stairs, I trust. I did this one both times through on an NRG, and the second time wasn't so long ago. As I recall, this one didn't respond to a really long run. This one involves a run through a sunken walkway, right? I believe I began it from the preceding stairs, but not sidewalk level. Either that or I started at the bottom of those stairs.

One thing you've probably already considered in your run is that you lose acceleration while airborne (or rather, you don't gain any during those vital yards of air time) during your run. Thus, if you start at street level before the first stairs, and the dropoff of the stairs gives you air (which is basically a sure thing), you lose however much acceleration time your back wheel is off the pavement. This makes a run from the sidewalk level somewhat worse than one from the bottom unless you enter the sunken area at high speed already.

However, I don't think high speed is the key. You've already tried a lot of things, so this is what I would do: try the jump from a relatively short distance back from the ramp, fixing some landmark so you remember where that was--maybe use your marker. Probably won't work, but then try it again from a bit farther back. Keep going back and retrying in this way, keeping all other aspects of your run the same (apples to apples). Shouldn't take very long, and that will almost absolutely rule out that you just don't have the right short jump distance. It will almost as surely mean that you've tried it from where I succeeded.

If you get as far back as the sidewalk and it still hasn't registered, you may be right about a glitch. However, if so, it would be the first unique jump glitch I've heard of, so that renders this pretty unlikely. Usually if you have it, someone else also has.

If you get it to register, then by all means let us know how you nailed it.

Thanks for the suggestions. I'm itching to try them out. Unfortunately, my PS2 is several hundred miles away right now, and I won't be able to get to it before Tuesday..... Aaaargghhh!

As soon as I've tried it, I'll let you know.

I am missing two jumps and I don't know which ones they are, but I'm thinking it's gotta be numbers 26, 28, and/or 68 because they are the only ones I have not marked off in my list. I've been trying these three jumps and getting some good air and distance, but no credit sad.gif Can anyone give me any tips?

You are using an NRG and the duck down technique right? If you don't think you can jump any further than you have, try going slower and jumping shorter distances, sometimes you can clear the landing area and not get points for jumping too well! confused.gif

Yeah, I'm using the NRG and ducking down. I'll try doing smaller jumps now and report back. Thanks.

You were right, I was jumping too far on 43. I still can't get the last one though. It has to be 26 or 28.

Numbers 26 and 28 are used (and normally done) during Catalina missions. those are jumps where you have to jump over a broken bridge, and for getting credit you just need to land on the opposite area, not too short though (once I made one of these missions for a friend but I didn't get credit for the jump).

nº26 was performed during the mission where you have to chase three go go karts, and nº 28 when you rob a bank, then have to escape with Catalina on HPV 1000's (police bikes) and then during the motorbike chase you jump over nº 28.

Try to remeber which one you missed, or just go there and try both, they are easily done.

I can't believe it! This here guy is not your typical ace with jumps and other fancy stuff, but seeing this post [great post btw] and being intrigued with the Ganton bridge and an "invisible wall" I went right over there and once I found how to get up on the planks, I just back the bike all the way up against the pillar, heading for the jump, held the accelerator and brake down until I was rev'ed up, and let loose the brake and sped to the end and damn near killed myself, but I got the Unique Jump and $500!!

Just goes to show that a lot of this stuff is luck. Well, a lot isn't, but the luck factor must be substantial for me to get this jump first try, fer sure.

Real useful topic. The best topic for who wants to do the Unique stunt jumps fast. Thanks to JKK.

I did #48 at the SF airport easily with a Banshee, and I'm not that great a jumper, so it should be easy enough for others.

Can't seem to get the other one #47 at the SF airport though. There must be a trick to it, as all I can get is a couple of bucks for insane jumps.

I also can't get #61 to register any jump--I figured that you have to end up on the roof, not just the parking lot. Tried very damn thing. Finally found some kinda fast sporty car that landed well onto the roof. Still no Unique Jump.

I don't remember making the roof on that jump... maybe you are going too far instead of too short? Also try a bit more left or right... good luck. smile.gif

Oh, yes, tried going short. Anything about halfway into the lot or less gets not even an insane stunt. Everything else, including getting well up onto the roof, gets only an insane stunt. Left lane, right lane, down the center, straight, angled....all the same.

What I'd like to hear from people is whether anyone got a Unique Jump otta this without going up onto or over the roof?

I don't remember my own attempts sorry. But are you going the right way? A lot of those Camel's Toe jumps are next to each other, one north and one west for example. Also are you sure you didn't inadvertantly complete it before systematically doing jumps?

Yup, going the right way--I get a cinematic when doing this jump. I could possibly have already done this jump and forgot about doing it, as you suggest. I say that if I get a car up on the roof beyond the parking lot, I did the Unique Jump, whether the game says so or not. And with #61 marked as done on my list, the game's count and my count match, so I guess it's done smile.gif.

OK #47 LS Airport. Game stats says 70 found. 69 of 70 completed. By my own count, I have 69 of 70, with #47 to go. Won't register, insane stunt only.

Can someone please let me know how they got this jump to register? Like, where they landed or how many feet they travelled? Or am I flogging a dead horse here, and I some how marked some other jump as completed and didn't mark this one when I should have? I don't think that is the case but you never know.

LOL: Ha! Don't know why, but when I went back to #61 with an NRG and landed it on the roof, I got the Unique Jump registered. So #47 wouldn't register because I had done it already. Question is, why didn't I get Unique Jump credit when I landed the CAR on the roof at #61?

Edited by sonyack

Yup, got them all, thanks to this post smile.gif. But it was a buncha work, because I had loaded a saved game that had only 2 jumps done, to check to see if a certain jump had been completed in my "working" game, and accidently overwrote the game I was working on! So I had to do alot of things all over again. But that meant that the Unique jumps could be kept better track of, and I figured #28 was done during a mission, and that left only 1 unaccounted for, and that would be #61 or #47, as neither had registered. Once I got #61 to register with the NRG on the roof, done!

Basically, with the NRG and the forward lean [on the PC, just tap, tap, tap your assigned key] you get all you need - it's THE trick, looks like.
