Kremit
I've gathered that color, wheels, car stereo and hydraulics are standard options for any vehicle that can be modified. As for the Buffalo, yes, that is a typo... but not on my behalf. In the carmods.dat file, the buffalo has two nto_b_s' (2x) instead of one nto_b_s (2x) and one nto_b_l (5x). THIS CAR MOD REFERENCE SHEET HAS LAST BEEN UPDATED ON: 12-01-2004 at 14:30 PST For an easier to read version, please download my Excel XLS spreadsheet. TransFender Garage: TransFender is marked and noted on your map with a little red wrench icon. There are three TransFender's in San Andreas, one in each major city. You must get to the missions of that city before unlocking that garage. Therefore, here are the requirements to unlock the three TransFender Garages. Los Santos: Finish Sweet's mission titled: "Cesar Vialpando". San Fierro: Finish Truth's mission titled: "Are you heading to San Fierro?". Las Venturas: Purchase airfield for Torreno and complete flight school. Upon receiving the phone call from Woozie in regards to the Four Dragons Casino, you should be able to access the TransFender Garage just east of the Excalibur. out of a home based garage. This garage is unlocked after completing Sweet's mission: "Cesar Vialpando". Cars that can be modded at Loco Low Co: Blade Broadway Remington Savanna Slamvan Tahoma Tornado Voodoo This garage features paintjobs for custom lowriders, hoof's for those convertible lowriders and a few more goodies mainly including Chromer and Slammin' custom parts. (Unfortunately, you are only able to add nitros to the Tahoma and the Voodoo) Wheels Arch Angels: Wheels Arch Angels is another custom shop similar to Loco Low Co. However, where as Loco Low Co specializes on lowriders out of a home garage, this is a car modification garage near the southwest corner of San Fierro. To unlock Wheels Arch Angels, you must obtain a bronze medal or better on Driving School test: "City Slicking" and also finish mission: "Yay-Ka-Boom-Boom" in order to be able to purchase Wang's Cars. After purchasing Wang's Cars, finish the first mission and you will unlock Wheels Arch Angels. Cars that can be modded at Wheels Arch Angels: Elegy Flash Jester Stratum Sultan Uranus This garage features paintjobs for Street Racer vehicles as well as high end performance parts such as: "Alien" and "X-Flow" performance exhausts and body kits. Now that this guide has been updated, hopefully there will be lot less questions regarding which cars can go where and what must be done to unlock which garage... etc... Enjoy, I worked on this so everyone could enjoy it... if you don't enjoy it, spare me the negative feedback or just PM it instead. DualSawnoff
Car Stereo All vehicles can have a enhancement to their audio system. The Bass Boost customization increases the low-end sound when the radio is turned on. The kicker costs $100. Question. Does the bass boost really do anything? I don't think it does. I've never noticed a difference in either respect or the way the radio stations sound when installing bass boost. I've heard that you need to have subwoofers with the Television, perhaps there's some truth to that?

They got it from the brady games guide... lol... then thats just horrible. Not only is it pledgerized once... but twice. Thanks for the props... I took the Voodoo into Loco Low Co tonight and just as I suspected, it can only do NOS and the other usual stuff. I still haven't figured out why the Tahoma and Voodoo are in the TransFender group, but can't go into TF... only LLC. Either way, all you can do with those two is NOS. I took my Voodoo to LLC and got NOS, Hydraulics, a paintjob, and all of the Slamin parts! put the crackpipe down. Yes, that is exactly what I am saying. Every car can change color, car stereo/bass boost, hydraulics and wheels. However, the Voodoo and Tahoma are flagged for Nitro upgrades only... no slammin parts. Disbelieve, try grabbing a voodoo and trying again now that you're more cautious and aware of this.
Daz
You might want to write the wheels that are unique to each garage.
Kremit
You might want to write the wheels that are unique to each garage. :-\ most of the wheels are universal thru-out it seems. It does seem there are a couple specific to just Wheels Arch Angels (IE: Rimshine and Switch), but the rest are universal thru all the mod shops... I didn't bother with wheels cause there's no listing for what wheels go on what cars, and therefore had the same priority (to me) as Hydraulics, Car Stereo and Car Color 1. Also, I only use Groove, Twist and Mega on most cars... I'll occasionally put Rimshine on a street racer, but that's about it. Personally, I'm not a big fan of their wheels in this game, thus the main reason this low priority project didn't strike my fancy. Maybe some day I'll put the wheels list in... but I doubt it will be done soon

Kremit
i never thought anyone would be so dedicated to SA to do this, fantastic job there. should be put under 'Useful guides & walkthroughs' Thanks, and I'm hoping it does... further edit's to the original post will continue as well... as forementioned, I still have the Loco Low Co and Wheels Arch Angels to do, then there's the wheels for each mod shop too. I just wish I could get some pix that I could url reference to EDIT: Off-Topic... Ben, from your website, I got the following statement: "We cruise the streets, looking for challenges, leaving dust in our opponents faces." you should always be leaving dust, smoke and rubber in your opponents faces. Kremit
Can someone who owns a Brady's Guide to the game please tell me if my list from my original post is in the guide? Not only will that upset me for the worthless effort in creating this list, but will confirm accusations from another thread where a few people commented that I ripped the information from Brady's Guide... where I thought the only info on this thread ripped from the Brady's Guide was Carl "CJ" Johnson's comment. I don't want to be someone that created something thru hours of work, only to find that it already exists else where and then be accussed of theft. If I stole it, fine... I wouldn't even bother to post it cause it's already out there. However, if I make it, I share it JIC it's not yet out there.
bobo_the_ape
Someone asked if Bass boost actually does anything. The answer: Yes. Go to the audio part of the the options. I think the "Radio EQ" needs to be set to "ON." If it's not that, then it's the "Output" that needs to be put on "Pro Logic II" EDIT: If you listen to K-ROSE, WCTR, KDST, or CSR, you might not notice the difference, as these stations aren't very bass heavy. But take a car, turn it to RLS, and add bass boost and see if you notice the difference.
cyrusunf
Can someone who owns a Brady's Guide to the game please tell me if my list from my original post is in the guide? Sort of. In the car list, it has a little logo of the mod shop it can be brought to. But that's the extent of it. Yours has what you can do with it and what not. I love it. Good job, should get a pin, or better yet a link with the useful guides and walkthroughs. (hopefully my post will bring it to the top and therefor give it some attention from mods)
Kremit
Good job, should get a pin, or better yet a link with the useful guides and walkthroughs. I'd like to see it up there between Mission: Supply Lines and Clothes... but I don't think it's worthy of a pin. At any rate, the mods will do with this as they see fit... but I thank you for the bump.
Technical Difficulty
This is a great helper, good job Kremit but it's from a guide. Good job though if you typed it all up Edited November 29, 2004 by Technical_Difficulty
Kremit
This is a great helper, good job Kremit but it's from a guide. Good job though if you typed it all up what guide? There is no guide pre-existing to this one that lists which parts can be put on which cars. The closest is the strat-guide by brady which denotes an icon for each car relating to which garage. No where does it list what modifications can be done to that car.
