This is hotly contested due to the variation between model years and similar models from different makes... The fact they are not licensed makes the job a tough one, but in the case of the Starion, how about the Dodge Daytonas as well as Camaro features merged for a hybrid?

The Harvester International Sadler makes a real-life appearance in the Season one Knight Rider series from 1982/83!

Funky they happen to be playing America's Horse with no Name (DJ comments it's from their 1st album as well) at the moment I type this. Alot of VC songs are getting airplay here on the 80s retro station, and I find it kinda strange

disfunkxion - I agree. I don't know much about VW's I don't know about the Slamvan. It looks a lot like a 60's Chevy. but more of a retro style, like the Chevy SSR. But it's fast like a lightning & SSR though.

pinky - agreed

starion - It does look like it. OTOH, from the sound of the engine and speeds, it may be a muscle car. I'll add it in.

GSF 4 Life - agreed

I'll be updating the list ASAP

Burning Rubber

This might be double posting but the AT400 is definetly not an Airbus, it's a Boeing 737 mainly because it has two engines not four and it is not a double-decker.

cookie.gif nekkidhillbilly for the effort on the cars though biggrin.gif

Chunky -- I think they look more like the older Suburbans. The late 70's/early 80's models

Starion -- I don't know. The Buffalo looks more aerodynamic than that. Looking at it, you could definately tell that the car is based on the F-body Camaro's of the late 80's. It's just that the front end looks like it was tweeked to avoid copyright issues from the Camaro, while the back with it's tail lights and fiberglass rookline look like that Mitsubishi Starion and a Dodge Daytona.

-Indeed-I was actually planning on bumping this to say that I think the Super GT is based on the Mitsubishi 3000 GT. But it seems that's already on the list, so nevermind.-Indeed-

I think it's more like a late 80's BMW 5 series. I will search for a pic.

I got your PM NSX and I'm back.

Now, on to the question - I agree that it looks sort of like the 5 series. Especially the headlights. I think you could argue that the Sentinal is a 5 series and not a 7 because of the size. Although the front lights were modified to not look like a Bimmer rip off, you could tell by the roofline that it was very BMW like. Only BMW made that unique shape and even if the car was NOT a 7 or 5 series, it is definately some sort of BMW (maybe a concept? Maybe just a unsuccessful BMW cloning attepting or even a fake made up car).

The Vincent has the front end of a BMW 5 series. However, the roofline and door panels and even a little bit of the rear look like an Audi 5000. So I guess it's one of those cars were it looks like a few cars combined, but no conclusion can be reached as to what it is or what it was trying to be.

LP_Reanimator - I could see where your coming from. But the rest of the car looks like a late 70's Pontiac Trans Am. That famous GM one of a kind roofline gives it off and I will definately note on the Corvette taillights because the Trans Am never had those.

And guys, I'm only a car guy. I know nothing about motorcycles, planes, farm equipment, and even commercialized vehicles like box trucks. If someone is willing to update that portion, that will be good. I can't tell Motorcycle A from motorcycle B.
