When I wiped out the Vagos, it says in my stats that they have 0 territories left, but they still have the Bayside area under control. Also, it says that the Ballas have 1 territory left, but I can not find that for my life. I thought I found it when I discovered the LS hood, but after I took that over, my stats didn't change at all. I'd greatly appreciate it if anyone can help me out here. Thanks ahead of time. It's possible your stats think the yellow Bayside turf is the Ballas? More likely though, you missed a sidewalk controlled by the Ballas. If you were taken to Angel Pine by Tenpenny, you have to wait until you rescue Madd Dogg from the roof, then you should be back in LS, and can do more gang wars. You will see OGs and Ballas (or Vagos, whoever had it last) in that territory. Just kill some more Ballas and you'll get a war. When a territory is half and half, is that reflected on the stats? As in, Biggest Gang: GSF, 53.5; Second Biggest: Ballsacs 1.5? jkk No, because when that happened to me, I only had "entire numbers" in the Stats. PS: I'm not sure if you use that expression in English. I am Portuguese and I performed a literal translation in order to get that expression. sw33t.j! Posted January 23, 2005 Share Posted January 23, 2005 Hm nothing that a loaded AK wont kill. I always use an ak with 3k ammo and dual uzi, so i can reload them on 3rd wave. Anyway my problem is groups from every side. There should be some nuclear project on the area 69 we could use hehe, maybe Hiroshima's baby. I had 54 territories, with 1 territory by the boat school and the rest in LS. Never would have known about that one by the boat school without checking this forum, because i got 100% territories prior to completing the game when i had around 8% completion and they were all in LS. Well I think you have two options... get 3 Vagos to chase you to another area in the same turf then kill them (like a different side of the square), or, allow Vagos to take back another turf nearby, win the smaller turf, then get the larger one back. If you know a certain turf is small in size, best to get it before others. One of the mods recommended not touching the controller for 5-10 minutes so it goes to screensaver mode, and Vagos may spawn that way. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

So I take it none of the Vagos have tried attacking your other hoods yet? In that case, I guess killing 3 Vagos on each side of the remaining turf may be your only option.... most people use the "bitch" method, where you punch a gang member, and run away, making sure they follow you, then waste them. krupp62 Posted January 31, 2005 Share Posted January 31, 2005 My strategy: First off, do not take over the gang territory until after you are in the last strand of the game and Sweet gets out of jail. If you do take over territory after the "Doberman" Mission and before the "Green Sabre" mission, you will lose it all anyway as well as any guns you have on you. It's just part of game and nothing can stop it. This will same you lots of time. Secondly, don't try to get on buidings and stuff to fight the wars. It is actually better to stay in the streets. Once you start a war, run to one side of the flashing territory and generally the enemy spawns behind you. Once they spawn pull out your AK, M4 or MP5, (My choices because of their range), and run a litlle farther then by this point they should all be running down the same or at least heading toward the same street and they are funneling to you. Watch to make sure they don't run the other way, if they start walking towards them and they will come back (unless they are stuck) and they come back almost 1 or 2 at atime so killing them is easy. then go pick up their guns. most of the time the 2nd and 3rd waves will drop AK's and MP5's. The second time i took over all of the territories, after completing the story missions, i had over 10,000 rounds of AK and over 5,000rounds of MP5 shells. For this strategy it is best get your skill with those guns to level where you can walk while aiming and shooting with that weapon. You do not have to waste tons of money guns, simply pick up the MP5's and AK-47's the deads gangsta's drop. I started off using the Micro-SMG under the bridge behind your house in Ganton, just stocked up on them. Thirdly, instead of waiting for CJ top reload, which can be fatal if the enemy is close enough, simply stop shooting and hit R2 or L2 button to change weapons, if you have AK and MP5 which are in weapons slots right next to each other, you can start shooting right away, because changing weaons is much faster than reloading. then when you get low with that switch back to the other one. In muy so called 'official' play guide it shows numerous gang teritories in all 3 cities. I think 7ish. Also in a couple of posts here guys mentions about those gangs, but most only mention Grove ST, Ballas & the yellow coloured gang ( can't remember name) Any1 know what is up with that?? I respawned at los santos hospital and there are territories everywhere.
