BabeRuth 100 Posted January 1, 2013 Do you mean Bayside Marina??
AuSsIeThUnDeR36 1,482 Posted January 1, 2013 Sounds like Richard has the gang territory glitch from flying far away from the map
BabeRuth 100 Posted January 1, 2013 (edited) You don't need to fly way off the map, to get the Bayside area. Reference is here: Edited January 10, 2013 by lil weasel
DpwnShift 0 Posted January 10, 2013 You don't need to fly way off the map, to get the Bayside area. Reference is here: That video you linked has nothing at all to do with either territories or flying off the map...
AuSsIeThUnDeR36 1,482 Posted January 10, 2013 I wasn't talking about how to get to Bayside, I was explaining the reason why Richard had gang territories in Bayside. Because he flew far away from the map for a long time which creates a glitch of new spawned territories. The longer you keep flying the more territories pop up. It is a true and honest programmed part of the game, which was removed in later editions because too many Players couldn't find it. OrionSR 1,844 Posted January 10, 2013 Wrong. The Bayside turf from the original PS2 release was caused by flying off the map during the St Marks Bistro mission where CJ flies east out to sea. Most players would fly directly towards that marker and so they would fly over the same glitchy zone that triggers the Bayside gang turf. This turf had a density of 1 so only 1 wave of attack would occur, a clear indication that this turf was added by a glitch. I have examined the original PS2 scripts; they do not code for a zone in Bayside.

And keep on eye out on what I said, "Reference" Edited January 16, 2013 by BabeRuth
GTASAddict 19 Posted January 21, 2013 What I think BabeRuth was implying with that video was following that train can lead you to Bayside Marina. Bayside Marina though, I'm not sure if it's enabled as gang territory due to the Freefall or Saint Marks Bistro mission.
BabeRuth 100 Posted January 22, 2013 Your on the right track Addict. But the territory was already there before the Saint Marks Bistro mission.
GTASAddict 19 Posted January 22, 2013 It wasn't owned by Vagos when territory colors were displayed on the map the 1st time after completing Doberman. So my guess is Vagos take it over thanks to Freefall and the color isn't displayed until after Home Coming.
Jioyt 13 Posted August 7, 2013 a bit off convo, but has anyone done gang wars or any mission, by just getting guns you have found, got by killing enemies. for example I died and spawned at the hospital in ballas turf, killed a cop, 3 ballas and got a mini Uzi and a 9mm. and took a dark 3 wave territory

( Lost it obviously lol ) Im at the part where im about to rob Caligulas Casino. And i wanna start taking over some stuff. My map is all one color like a light light yellow. Ballas King 372 Posted March 30 I hate that after taking over 100 % territories the Ballas are gone. I enjoy nothing more than fighting the Ballas. I lobe gang wars but I can engage in gun fights with them anytime anywhere, if only they can still be retained, some kind of territory you dont have to take over like with the Aztecas.... That's why having extra save files comes in handy becuase tbh when all territories are taken over, the realism fades aways since there isn't any rivals left to fight, cause drive-by's, be alert in which other territory you wonder in, Gangs won't check themselves since it's just GSF all over the place, etc... LS just remains a bland city with grove homies always wondering around. Infact the gang violence between streets gangs completely fades away due to rivals not being present. The Aztecas don't even count cause Ballas and Vagos make up the majority of sets around LS (players decision of course). In my game GSF is the biggest gang since I f*cked up SF so badly with territory glitches that ended up GSF controlling the entire map of San Ferrio But in LS all gangs have their respective territory. Vagos stay in their turf in East Los while sharing a border in El Corona with the Aztecas (lots of shootouts happen around this side of town) since GSF and Ballas are mixed here aswell. While areas like Idlewood are shared with Ballas and Groves etc...Just to keep it alive. Edited March 31 by Big_Smiley

If you have the PC version you can use the Save Game Editor and add gangs wherever you want in the 3 cities even if your gang territories are 100% gained. I got the LS gangs causing mad gang wars in San Fierro and Las Venturas, but I made it very realistic by only placing them in the more run-down or less affluent areas of both cities. Save Editor is hands down one of the best things that happened to SA modding !

Like I mentioned PC users have it easy ffs Took me years to get all third party gangs to where their at in my map with just glitches. Those save editors would have came in handy back in 2007-10 instead of using gameshark on PS2. But then again, never have I thought of playing SA on PC during the time.
