Stuck on Supply Lines...? LOOK HERE! GUIDE!

Recommended Posts

To be honost I didn't think this mission was so hard as everybody says.

I got it in 3 tries.

The only "stupid" part of this mission is, that you have to fly back catspider.gif.

No C'mon that makes no sense. Why couldn't they pick up the plane afterwards?

You killed all those guys so actually the mission is acomplished. Don't start with that stupid fuel sh*t sarcasm.gif.

Zero Missions - Supply Lines…

Long List.

He The Untouchable great guide.

But this might be interesting to:

Maybe I need to try harder.... I fly and shot perfectly for the first three, but as soon as I gain altitude and go for the last two I drop below half a tank.

Whoever made those videos screwed up a couple times yet STILL made it back in time. Maybe I need to try during the day? Afternoon?

I'll do it a couple more times tonight and if I can't get it I'm putting it on the back burner for awhile... stupid mission mad.gif

Oh yeah, and I signed up here and everything BECAUSE I was looking for help with this mission and this mission only. VERY hard. All other missions so far and after this one (I'm up to the Wu Zi Mu missions) don't even hold a candle.

[-Vice-Andreas-]

I completed this mission on my 3rd or 4th try. It was pretty tough, but looking at others taking 10 tries makes me feel like a pretty advanced player for a teen.

I have also finished hard missions such as Black Project and am up to "Return to Los Santos" chapter of the game.

So far, I would have to say that the hardest missions I have come across that I can remember of anyway would have to be Supply Lines and Black Project. I forget the names of missions, but the ones that envolve sneaking onto ships and being stealthy at all times - those are quite hard, but once you reach Zero's missions, he has some difficult sh*t there for you.

I had trouble with all of Zero's missions. Not once did I ever complete a mission of his in one go.

How did I finish Supply Lines? I didn't exactly kill them in the same order as shown on Pine's map, but somehow did manage to do it.

All you have to do is keep trying and trying. You'll get it eventually. It was like with me and Black Project. A very difficult mission but once you get the hang of it it isn't all that bad.

My advice would be to shoot the vans from behind as you approach them and keep yourself in a straight line. Line yourself up carefully with the van and then shoot down whilst flying downwards in order to accurately hit them.

It may also help to fly over buildings rather than following the streets. Although you will need to follow some streets mostly in Downtown area.

OMG! I thought i just sucked! I posted a week ago about how long it took the beat the mission, the guide would have helped me out b/c that is how i beat it when i finally did... it is really acurrate for those who havent beat it yet.. follow it almost exactly and u have it easy... the mission for Zero afterwards is his easiest mission, dont panic b/c u see a timer and a heli... it is easier to control and i beat the mission with a few minutes left on my first try...

Good Guide!

I don't get this. Supply Lines is hardly a ball-breakingly hard mission. In both of my games I've gotten it my second attempt and thats only because my plane blew because of some pop-up buildings. There should be at least 15% fuel left when you land back at Zero's and the simplest way to take out the enemies is to land just behind them and unleash hell. I had more trouble with some of the eariler races.

It was the same for me on that third one (New Model Army) I did it on my first go with just under 3 mins to spare, my first instinct was to grab the bomb and drop it on Berkleys helicopter which stopped it blocking the path, then take the barrel away and go and grab another bomb and take out the tank, next up was the plank for the bridge followed by bombing the remainder tanks, grabbed the plank I'd used already to save time and used it for the second bridge and the rest was just a matter of removing barrels. Piece of cake.

At least the Beefy Baron mini game doesn't have you worrying about fuel or getting back.

Just beat it after who knows how many times. rah.gif I would just like to add my thanks to this entire thread.

Also- If you make a left as you leave the starting point and start shooting right away you can hit the first van, then the bike in an near straight line. (well at least without having to turn around)

And to those who say they don't know what the big deal was or brag that they completed on 1-2nd try, good for you, you are uber kewl and here is a brownie button. (does that satisfy your need to feel like you are the ultimate gamer?) Ppl are saying that this one is easy, and that the air raid before it was tougher...well thats nice, (it was opposite for me) but some ppl are better shooters, and some pple are better flyers. I think it has to do with prior games played.

Obviously this is a very tough mission for most ppl.

Right on! Dont' be afraid to say you cant beat a mission, it is no big deal... it just means you dont spend ur life playing this game, although at times i do take it pretty seriously, but if u beat on first try and think u r better than us for it, well, go ahead, i dont care

The Untouchable
this is f*cking pissing me off. f*ck it. i tried 23 times. on my 24 and f*ck it. i get all of them but run our of fuel!

f*ck IT!

Just take a little time out. If you're really getting annoyed, like i was, go do something else for a few minutes just to cool off. The Zero missions aren't required to progress in the story missions but it's required for getting 100% so if you've not finished all the story missions, leave the Zero ones out till you've done the others.

I can't believe there's all this commotion about this mission!

It's not even that hard!

Main things to do is keep patient, then you will do it.

It took me 6 goes but I finally did it.

It is perfectly valid to be happy that you did the mission so easily. Posting about it, though...? Maybe not so helpful. I'm going to play through the game again in the next couple of days, and spend a little more time on this one; I strongly suspect that the element of luck is so key here that even the people who claim it's easy, and are shocked by how much bellyaching there is about it, would discover that they couldn't beat it three times in a row. Show me a continuous movie capture of three successful attempts in a row (save, beat mission, load, beat mission, load, beat mission) before you dare gloat in this topic again. tounge2.gif

Another success here, thanks! I remember reading about how hard this mission was one the forums for a while so I was dreading it, I finally got to it last night and tried it about 15 times before saying forget it and going to bed. Today I printed this out and got it within 10 tires. It was still a royal pain but the guide does work! You still need some luck though because of the varying paths of the couriers, sometimes they would work in my favor, others times it would just make it harder. And the “stop and wait” trick also works as you use no fuel, I did this to let the last van come to me. Again thanks for the guide.
