Stuck on Supply Lines...? LOOK HERE! GUIDE!

Recommended Posts

Maybe someone could map out the couriers routes and could find a place that maybe 2-3 just drive through so you could just sit in that location for a while and kill all 3 without having to waste too much fuel. Just a thought. I gave up the mission for a while, I will try it again soon.

It would be nice if someone did that for us. I would do it but i passed that mission a long time ago and i don't think you can redo it (or can you?). If anyone would do that though it'd be great! smile.gif

Keep trying nikehair. You'll only be happy when you've done it. Keep reading the guide and some of the other members suggestions and you'll pass it quite easily.

can anyone beat me on that mission

i done it on my third try!!.. today when i was home at lunch.

one thing i didnt do thats on the guide is land at any point. if i did come on the ground i took off straight away.

i had about 1/15 of the beginning fuel left at the end.

biggrin.gif so glad i done it... 3RD TRY!!! lol

Someone said in this thread that they did it in their first try after reading this guide tounge.gif So yeah, someones beat you tounge.gif But glad to see you did it!! biggrin.gif

I tried that mission for hours then I read the guide and passed it. but I did it a little diffrently.

as soon as you take off, start shooting at the close van. you will kill that guy withing a few seconds, fly around the corner and kill the bike guy the same way. after that I used the land and shoot method. I got back with about a quarter tank of fuel left.

of course I think the sanches was just luck.

it was hard but I think it was fun. Most of the missions so far aren't that hard. It's nice to have a real chalange.

Also... I don't know if you've ever flew a plane, I have and if you think like a pilot, it is easier. there are tricks and manuvers that help you not crash.

Thanks for the guide - I spent all day trying to beat this stupid mission (which really ticks me off, since nearly all other missions in the game have only taken me one or two tries) today I have some knowledge and a fresh outlook so I hope to god I beat it - not that I need the money, but I dig the property buying feature, loved it in VC, and glad they have expanded on it in SA. But yeah, this mission is ridiculously difficult, I dont know how many times I have ran out of gas 100 feet from the roof I am supposed to land on.

Thanks again for the guide, and the knowledge that I'm not alone in having problems with this mission.

I will spend a while doing a map tonight when i get home as this is my next mish. (in about 30 mins I can start) give me time to get it sorted & i'll upload it later, you never know they might all congregate outside a garage or something.

Here is the Map:

Couple of things to note. The timings should be evident from the colours used as to when the couriers arrive at any shared junctions, (normally staggered by a couple of mins, how convinient.

Each colour represents 2 minutes of game time, I stopped after 10 mins (Hrs) as they were spreading out & I assumed you'de have run out of fuel by this point.

Note if quoting this post please do not include the pic as its huge.

[Edit:] please let me know if this is accurate / helped out. also another thing to note Courier 4 appeared to get stuck on what looked like the freeway onramp when i did this, not sure if that happens all the time. [/Edit]

FUBAR

thanks ... ive done the new model army mission aswell.

its most easiest of the zero missions...

well done to the guy who done it first time..

and thats a great route map GTAryan.

good luck to all the other people still struggling on the mission.

I did manage to kill all of the courrier a bunch of times but couldn't get back to Zero's (lack of fuel). So I was just wondering, is it possible to land on a vehicule going north (to kill the last 2 courrier) and let it drive u downtown instead of wasting fuel flying through half of San Fierro.

Even with the guide, by the time I reach the 5th mofo vehicle, I run outta fuel.

Fluck this mission. I think I'll just skip this one since it's not necessary.

TWO HOURS OF WASTE!

That's where ur wrong, it's necessary to do it, if u want 100% completed that is... but just sit on the friggin' ground and blast the sh*t out of them!

God, I hate this mission.

Am I the only one who's seeing different routes that what's outlined on the map above? Especially the two northern-most drivers. They all seem to start at the right spots, but by the time I get up there, they're 3 or 4 blocks further north than where they should be on the map.

suicidal.gif i tried it at first like 20 times gave up read the topic

suicidal.gif did the mission with the help of the topic !Worked! out better

But still sad.gif i failed 12 times in a row tounge.gif i freaking suck

PS: i hated al the Rc misions in GTa VC and i was like a sh*t another on wiht a f**king plane...

Suction Testicle Man

I am really surprised at how you guys are having so much trouble! I did it on my second try, as the first try I got blown up by gunfire. All I did was land just behind the cars, then plaster them with bullets. Luckily, my first two were fairly close together - I don't know if the couriers changes routes at all. Well, that's my tip - good job on the guide, despite the fact I don't need it smile.gif

OMFG this ahs to the worst mission ever. Its stupid it ttok me like 30 trys to do it. O and thanx for making the guide it worked very well. I got lucky tho since the last truck i had to blow up was near the RC shop and thank god i idnt run out of fuel. O and i was wondering. If u look in your stats it says luck percent. mine is 88 dose that mean it makes the missions easyer because you get luckier??

The mission is inane. There is no logical reason to kill these super slow driving people with a sh*tty handling RC vehicle. It fits into the storyline like a square peg into a circular hole.

By the way, that map is very inaccurate. Whoever made it shouldn't have even bothered.

The Untouchable
what a crappy plane it can't even glide.

Yeah. The way the plane handles is stupid.

@YanUK - Yeah. You're right. They're just a side-mission but are required to get 100%.

@Rockhead - It's the hardest in the game i reckon. It took me ages to complete it aswell. Just keep trying.

@milligram - Is the map THAT inaccurate? If it is, i'll take it off.

It seems to be. I didn't sit there and watch the paths of the vehicles each time, but the 10 or so times I tried the mission, they each were in different places. Went after the bicycle first and it's usually in the same spot because it hasn't had time to hit the first corner. Then the van that's nearby sometimes turns and sometimes goes straight. The second van has been where it's pointed out on that map, but it's also been in at least two different positions all at approximately the same time into the mission. The last two have been the biggest diferences. Number 5 seems to go to the eastern most highway more often than not. Number 4 seems to start off on the same path but then makes a left turn rather than the one mapped out.

I remember that mission got rated 7/10 for difficulty. I also saw this topic but never clicked on it and new this was a hard one before I did it. Anyways, I done it in around 6 attempts, I got used to flying the dodo from the LS airport and I found the best way to corner the RC is to press left or right follewed by L2 or R2 to which way you're turning, don't turn the analog too hard, soft.

I did the van in front at first, I slowly took off pressing L2 to turn and started shooting the van as soon as it was in sight, the man got out and I killed him before I even had to take the next turning. Then carried on to the next bike, then went on from there, following the same routine all the way, just got back to the red marker before my fuel ran out.

The RC is ok to handle, I easily got used to it and the route I took, I was chilled out when I was playing and didn't seem to give a sh*t about losing, no need to reload when I failed, just walk back into the red marker after it says mission failed! You don't lose weapons or anything.

Don't be afraid of shooting and flying at the same time, it's vital, especial for the vans, shoot from a distance and it will propeably blow up before you even get to it, the rifle is quite strong, I got one lucky explosion with a van when I hit the tank, I did however fail that attemp after.

For the bikes, the first bike is easy to take out, shoot him, he'll jump off and cap him, the last bike game me trouble, I waited till the last one to kill them, I kept losing on it, but done it eventually, as I was more used to flying that terrible-handled plane.

The only mission I found painfully boring and frustrating was 5 burning laps for the driving school which I eventually done. That mission made my blood boil! angry.gif
