KristianB
I'm not sure the Courier missions are completable. Reason I say that is, I've tried one (getting the cash from the Patriot on it's way from LS to SF) and I got some cash from it then it got blown up. It just told me how much cash I got and that I could do this again on any Mon or Fri if I wanted. No Mission Complete, no Mission Failed. Also, in the strat guide it mentions that these missions are available (on their respective days) towards the end of the Badlands and continue until you finish The Syndicate string of missions in SF. It just strikes me odd that they could count towards 100% since they don't seem to be completable. Anyone got anymore experience with them? I'm confused. WHEN do you (are you supposed to) get these missions? I'm guessing it's a phone call, but after what mission? I just arrived to San Fierro, but shortly before I did I got a phone call about some courier thing, but nothing showed up on the map(?). If these are required to get 100% what mission(s) should/shouldn't I complete first? This is all very confusing.
KristianB
And has anyone found out how exactly to do this?
Craig Kostelecky
I'm not finished with my research yet, but at this point it looks like the courier missions are not required for 100%. I could be wrong because there's still 3 places where the mission points are increased in the code that I can't figure out yet. Hopefully I'll find those out, and then we'll have a completely acurate guide for 100%. Interesting note on the mission completion: There are four missions (High Stakes Low-Rider, King in Exile, Wu Zi Mu, and Farewell My Love) that do not increase your percetage completed. But they are required to trigger other missions, so they're still necessary.

Yay Courier can be done on Wednesdays & Saturdays. For both you get a call from Ceasar and you have to respond positively (hitting right on the d-pad). Do them as early as you can so you can get them out of the way because once you finish the Syndicate missions the courier missions are no longer available. That would be great if they are in fact not required for 100% since some people didn't do them. I have put them on the list because they were included in with the other main missions in the Brady guide but hopefully in this instance the guide is wrong. popemedia
Does anyone have or know where a map of all the spray paint tagging locales are in LS? Also it says on the list you need to get to level 10 on the pimpin mission. But they have different levels you need to get to in each city, fierro has 12, forget how many venturras has. So do we have to do pimpin in all the citys or just santos? Can we reach 10,000 for robbery in santos or do we have to do 10,000 in each city? That list is kinda just general not really explaining anything, such as locations of where all those missions are at etc. Edited November 2, 2004 by popemedia
meth.
The burglar & pimping missions may be new but they are still vehicle missions. They are done just like the old taxi, vigialtente, medic, & fire missions. They can be done anywhere. Just like the old missions there is a specific level you must do for 100% but you can go past that limit.

Storm.
This site has tag locations plus horseshoes, oysters and photo ops. How far do you have to get in the lowrider challenge?
Craig Kostelecky
I don't think the Lowrider Challenge is required for 100%. From the code, it does not look like passing this increments your mission points. Could somebody confirm this for me by playing it (Check your percent completed before and after completing it to see if it changed)? Also, I'm not sure if the burglary or valet mission (not 555-WE TIP) are required either. If I can get all three of these missions confirmed (that they do not add percentage points) I can post the complete list as it's found in the game's code. zenus
I can confirm that doing the lowrider challenge causes no change to your mission completion %. Have Fun! -+<([{Z}])>+-

excalibur69
im pretty sure valet is required, because it has to be done to aquire the hotel as an asset. are you positive that buglury is not required for completion?
Craig Kostelecky
I'm positive about burglaries not being required for 100%. meth. completed it and his percentage did not go up. The valet is the last thing I need to varify (I think).
Code 187
About the courier missions: Today I stopped getting calls for Big Smoke's Cash. I'm not sure why, there was never a Mission Complete message that I know of, just Ceaser doesn't call about it anymore. Although, I"m still getting calls to do Yay Courier. I've tried them almost every time I've gotten a call, so, perhaps if you do them enough they eventually stop.
immessedup17
Thanks meth, this is going to help a lot. I have the strat guide, but it does a poor job at telling you exactly what you have to do for 100%, and what is totally optional.

Smithdogg1
I am glad I found this thread, because I have been trying many different things with the burglar missions and have not been able to get my percentage to go up by completing it, even though it always says “burglar missions complete”. since it is in the “required for 100%” section of the guide I thought my game may have been glitched but since you guys have been experiencing it as well I guess not. Could someone check the code to make sure burglar is no supposed to add to your percent? Same with the low-rider challenge, I did not know what you had to do to get a percent from that and even when I won a bet I got nothing, so I guess it is normal that it adds nothing to your percent as well and is a mistake on the guides part for putting it in the “required for 100%” section. Craig Kostelecky
Well, I've finished my research in the code as it relates to getting 100%. There are 187 mission points that can be acquired in this game. To get 100% you must do all of these things. This is directly from the game's code, so it's accurate. Everytime you complete an objective from this list, your percetage completed stat will increase by 0.5348% Burglaries and Unique Jumps are NOT required for 100%. Smithdogg1
Awesome, thanks a bunch for the info! Did you find out what those three missing things were? Good to know that my game is not glitched and also I did not look extremely hard but it seems that both “Big Smokes Cash” and “Yay Courier” are not required for 100% correct? And another question I had, does anyone know if you need all golds in the schools for 100% or will bronze do it? Edited November 5, 2004 by Smithdogg1
Craig Kostelecky
There was only one missing mission point that I had (it wasn't in the main.scm, but in the valet.scm found in the scripts.img file). There were a few that I wasn't sure of, but that's all sorted out now. I even tracked down which houses specifically are required. I didn't see anything in the code for "Big Smoke's Cash" or "Yay Courier" for percetange points. And since I've account for all 187 points, it's safe to say that they are not required at all. I believe to get credit for passing the schools, all you need is the bronze. Edited November 5, 2004 by Craig Kostelecky
