T-808
wow c.j. that is looking great so far nice work on the pipes btw. we should have a new addition when he decideds what he wants to do model wise but i won't annouce anything until he pm's me one his choice. Â as far as my progress i did some tweaks here and there i had the misfortune of having tiem to work on election night. and no i won't voice my opinion good or bad cause i don't want to lock this topic cause of pig headed people. but needless to say not much got done. but c.j is doing great and so far augh is doing great so things are pretty well on track for now. Â i told you we aim no to dissapoint. i should have some new shots tomarrow.
Augh
I really need to learn to map in Max... texturing all this afterwards is going to be pure hell. I prefer to do it as I go... Â Small update, mostly not really apparent; Â Â

T-808
pregress good news bad news.  good news: got the grate done bad news : it's 70k over our vechile limits so looks liek it will have to go back to the basic bumper with a bitmap texture  also showing the lights i did the other night but don't get too attached to that spoiler it needs rewrokign before i hit the engine and make my own hoods. last to do is damage to all of the new parts but that will come in due time.  the lights first:  now the grate:  ed: images removed for band width  goign to do a light tracer render to show you those grates were all 100% hand made this is not a bit map. but tongiht i should have the spoiler down and the begining of the engien work. iRloading
hmm~ a question tho' the questions probably been answered, but just making sure:  you boys planning on making the whirlygig(by that english dude who saves max) and the road train(that big truck they defended on the highway) in the mad max movies?  another bit~ the map seems huge, and the city limit seems to be enlarged (as compared to vice) so i was wondering if you guys have any plans of "expanding" the desert in san an  offtopic: played fallout 1&2 that game rocks x_X ~ hero reminds me of mel gibson when wearing the leather armorf

92F
... Not much, but its a start. Fully 3d ammo cylinder, along with sights and trigger. Still to do the foresight, barrels (obviously) and the handle/grip. Â The cylinder i made means its a 5 shot, but if this bothers anyone ill change it, also what kind of grip do you want? bog standard wooden one or a sporty one? last questin long barrel, medium or short? the choice is yours
vnum218
@92F : Looking good so far. I'd prefer a long barrel, just because I like the way those look, but I haven't watched any of these shows at all, so my opinion really doesn't matter. Â @T-808 : That car is looking really good. Any chance for a shot of the engine from above? It looks, from the screens you've posted, like it'll be cool, so it'd be neat to see it. Â @Everyone else : These cars are looking fantastic, and this will be the second thing I do on GTASA for PC. (After I beat it).
Augh
5 shot, 6 shot, it doesn't really matter, the barrel is very much not extended so would be around 4 inch most likely, grip is dark wood to best of my memory. Â Shows? Oh boy... Â Â

Augh
Oh sure, I can do that too, but I digress. If you're after being kicked around, give the general discussion areas a shot, cus there's nothing in it for me However, if I express somewhat (and somewhat honest) amused disbelief that people have never heard of these movies, well, I would be among those putting a damper on their actual response, which otherwise would be along the lines of "You don't even know they're movies? Holy f*ck.", for I am truly surprised, ain't a thing personal in it, on it, or near it  As to your question, it was for 808, not me But since he isn't here, it's a good thing I can indeed post pictures of my piss poor (seriously), flailing first attempt at a 351 Cleveland. I see nein other questions, so at least I assume that's what it is. At least I learned how an engine works in the building process, even if the result was a fried mess...  Ouch, haven't looked at this thing for a whiiiile...      Edited November 10, 2004 by Augh
