Nintendo DS

I don't plan to buy an advance for GTA, and not just because it would be my fourth one (long story). The nintendo DS is supposed to be backwards-compatible with advance games, and it comes out in late November, so why not wait? Don't go buying an advance just for GTA.

Why buy a DS when you can buy a PSP...

Seriously PSP is absolutely amazing. Definately buying a PSP. Superb graphics processor, excellent games, you clan play movies, listen to MP3s, plays games all sorts of stuff. And it's the same size as the original GBA, but with a HUUUGE TFT screen. 16 million colours, high resolution...Can't wait!

ds only lets u touch one screen which is usually used for menus or the player hud ... its not used for gameplay

Yes it is. You can draw on it and send pictures to your friend's DS wirelessly.

Also, you have to draw in lines to stop Pacman from going off-screen. Check out the official site.

I know! I was going to actually go for sony, because I wished I got a playstation other than a gamecube. But then, I read something that just beat the crap out of all those pro's the PSP has. The PSP's Battery Life..is unacceptable. 4-5 hours? Graphicly Intense games actually have about 2 Hours of life! SONY NO! What the hell?

So thats why I'm glad to say I got the DS, The Touch Screen is freckin awesome. My friends and I are messing around at school now during lunch just doing stupid sh*t with our DS and playing Super Mario 64 DS. And I, too, plan on playing GTA: Advance on the DS.

The Metroid game they have on there uses the touch screen to turn.

Actually, the DS is only backwards-compatible with GBA games. Gameboy and GBC games won't even fit into the Cartridge slot. O Discordia, say true, say thankya.

you can now shoot your friends with your psp as well

According to dozens of forum posts and lower-end game sites, many of the first batch of PSPs suffered from a variety of defects, including "dead pixels, dead drives, analog sticks not working and even falling off, and even screens with dust and 'air bubbles'," according to Engadget. A more spectacular alleged problem was the so-called "Master of the Flying UMD Guillotine Trick." If you twist the PSP a certain way, the UMD drive opens, causing the disc to come flying out like a throwing star.

It will be around $180, that is what most articles said when they converted the Japenese price of the PSP.

Yeah, but it's good to get it first instead of waiting for another year for the price to go down lower.
